Our dreams are the topic of many researches but yet, they were not fully explained. Here are a couple of interesting theories that may be worth knowing or help you to understand certain things about dreaming.
1. Do you agree with Freud's theory mentioned in the video? Why or why not?
2. Do you get regular amount of sleep every day? If not, do you think your stress resilience and recovering abilities would be better if you did?
3. Why the scientist still haven't managed to fully explain what dreams are and what are they dependent on?

I am a type of night brand, which means that I go to bed later and get up later. I sleep irregularly and my resistance and ability to regenerate are rather ok. It seems to me that not all theories suit all.
The human mind is a very complicated machine. I guess a lot of health issues are guesses or fiction. I don't think we should study everything. Instead, let's start using our sensible discoveries on a larger scale. For example fiber optic internet occurs in a very small part of Poland. Same with all new technologies. Instead of rushing ahead, let's stop for a moment and expand what we have. Theory is nothing if it doesn't exist in practice.
2. I sleep too much. I think I'm stressed and tired because of it. I need to change that habit and wake up early. I always feel tired at first but then I have time for everything during the day and the stress just fades away.
3. Well they can't just read human's mind and say oh this is why he thought about that thing. Maybe in the future we will have technology to do that but until then we just can speculate what dreams are for.
Yeah, I agree with Freud's Dream Interpretation at some points. I agree that dreams can be the result of our physical and mental state during sleep. They also can represent unconscious desires, thoughts, wish fulfillment, and motivations.
2. Do you get regular amount of sleep every day? If not, do you think your stress resilience and recovering abilities would be better if you did?
I try to get regular amount of sleep every day. This does not always work for me, especially on weekdays. But the last month spent in quarantine has benefited me and I sleep 8-9 hours every day. And having a healthy dream helps me to avoid stress during my daily routine.
3. Why the scientist still hasn't managed to fully explain what dreams are and what are they dependent on?
The human brain and mind are very difficult to study. I don`t consider that I can answer this question properly. If someone in the world knew the answer, he or she would already have received the Nobel Prize.
2. I make sure I have regular sleep cycles. Otherwise I get tired as soon as I wake up. Why have 4 cups of coffee and a bad day if you can stick to a sleep routine instead.
3. I think that understanding the human brain is key to explaining the role of dreams. It will take time for scientists to demystify the most complex organ in our body. Moreover, dreams closely relate to our subconsciousness, which is really hard to examine. Subconsciousness is mysterious to ourselves, let alone researchers.
3. Yes, you are right. Point of my question was really to provoke someone to dicsuss and think about it but you are 100% right. It is probably a subject of study for many specialized scientists and only them can bring us some new, relevant information.
2. I think I get the regular amount but not in the regular sleeping hours. And i can agree that having not enough sleep may affect overall performance
3. They have not managed fully explain that dreams are because it is connect with brain and i think brain is now one of the biggest mystery in human body
I can agree. His theories, though eccentric, seem to be true. Dreams have a calming effect. It is recognized all over the world. It's hard to disagree with her.
2. Do you get regular amount of sleep every day? If not, do you think your stress resilience and recovering abilities would be better if you did?
I didn't dream regularly. Once yes, the second time no. I try to sleep every day for about 6 hours. Dreams are once and sometimes they are gone.
3. Why the scientist still haven't managed to fully explain what dreams are and what are they dependent on?
Because this is a difficult and unexplained field of science. People have long wondered what dreams are. No one is able to answer this question for now.
1. I agree with Freud's theory mentioned in the video, however I don't think that all of our dreams are meaningful. Some of them may be connected to our hidden thoughts but sometimes images that we see are just random scenes remembered by our brain. But I think that other times our dreams can tell interesting facts about ourselves.
2. Yes, I get regular amount of sleep every day and if I have to break that habit then I try to make up for that with short, twenty minutes long naps. I am a big fan of sleep but I also try not to sleep for too long because your body stops recovering after eight hours of sleep and it simply makes you feel more tired after waking up.
3. We still don't fully understand our complex human brains and knowing that dreams are very personal - it's even harder to understand their true nature. I think that dreams are something that we won't ever fully understand since each dream has a different meaning for everyone.
I only partially agree with Freud's theory. I think that some parts of our dreams can be interpreted to better understand our desires or fears, but I also think that a major part of our dreams is a mixture of the things that we saw or talked about during the day. I do not think that every single part of our dreams has some deep, significant meaning that should be studied and interpreted as a suppressed desire.
2. Do you get regular amount of sleep every day? If not, do you think your stress resilience and recovering abilities would be better if you did?
Unfortunately, even if I go to bed early I usually have issues with my sleep quality. Quite often I wake up during the night and my sleep is kind of restless. I have no idea if this is due to the stress, eating habits or maybe too much screen time during the day but I am positive that it is unhealthy and I would benefit quite a lot from a better sleep quality.
3. Why the scientist still haven't managed to fully explain what dreams are and what are they dependent on?
I think it is very difficult to analyze dreams because they are intangible occurences. It is a bit like with imagination, you can never show somebody else exactly the same thing that you have created in your mind but dreams are also the feelings that they evoke in you. However, the since has made such a huge progress in the modern world that maybe one day we will be able to record our dreams and study them better, which would be very interesting to see.
No, I disagree with Freud's theory. His theory mean that if somebody dream nightmare about killing their significant others or themselves, they really desire it. I don't think that if somebody love someone they secretively want to murder them.
2. Do you get regular amount of sleep every day? If not, do you think your stress resilience and recovering abilities would be better if you did?
I used to get regular amount of sleep in the past, but now I have an insomnia. For sure my stress resilience wouldn't be better, because most of my dreams are the reason for my stress. I have had a lot of nightmares for years and they caused even more anxiety and my insomnia as a result.
3. Why the scientist still haven't managed to fully explain what dreams are and what are they dependent on?
Beacuse it's really hard to do. Meaning of dreams depends on the past and mental state of individual one. Discovering and studing every detail of single human's life is probably impossible and even in psychology and psychiatry it's really difficult to find real root of patient's problems.
