Week 6 [07.05-13.05.2018]Rich And Poor People Seek To Understand Each Other

Rich And Poor People Seek To Understand  Each Other The rich and the poor are the Yin and Yang of any country that together form a society. But, despite the fact that they are close, they are two different worlds, different from each other, like an elevator and cheese. Even those who broke out, as they say, from mud to riches, for the most part stopped understanding the poor. It is clear that if you want to get out of poverty - do everything possible for this, but it's not about that. The fact that they live under different laws. And while some go to art exhibitions with receptions and communicate with wealthy people, others communicate with ordinary workers, thinking about how to live up to the next salary. 1. Wich size will u choose?  2. Do u condemn people witch one having too much money or don't have em at all( homeless)?

Week 6 [07.05-13.05.2018] Small Talk about Big Thing’s

Small Talk about Big Thing ’ s Small talk : the great art of "small talk" Do you think that small talk is a waste of time? Misrepresentation. Successful small talk is a very important factor in a career. Rising in the morning in the office, you encounter an elevator with the boss. Your actions: a) Say hello and wait for the boss himself starts a conversation. b) Say hello and make a note about the weather. The correct answer is the last one, because having talked with the chef in a neutral way, you will make a good impression on him. A harmless remark about traffic jams on roads, crowded subways or a sunny day is what you need, experts advise. But where to start such a conversation, sometimes even top managers do not know. Not harmless conversation is not for everyone It would seem that nothing is easier than to talk about "this - this," "about nature - about the weather." But if it was really that easy ... A practicing communicatio

Week 6 [07.05-13.05.2018] Gross National Product

Gross National Product Gross national product (GNP) is the market value of all the goods and services produced in one year by labour and property supplied by the citizens of a country. Although lots of countries live in prosperity there are places where people’s daily struggles are to get food and water. In order to consume other goods we need to address our basic needs first, then we move forward and start consuming for real. World’s industries growth brought us to a new level of thinking about goods. Common client is not concerned with anything but own satisfaction when getting new items. Nobody wonders how it is made, who made it and why. Basing judging on commercials and brand names is easy and comfortable, but how much time do we have till we can’t manufacture another iPhone? How is it that we measure our progress (GDP) by referring to the consumption? Some facts There are 300,000 items in the average American home and sti

Week 6 [07.05-13.05.2018] Another new order

In recent years the news were quite enthusiastic about a technology called blockchain, which i san underlying solution for every crypto currency. How much trust we can put in this technology? Does it really offer a completely new way of handling trust? Is blockchain a totally new way or another overrated tech and economic bubble? Does lack of in-depth knowledge about keeps poeple/you away from investing in blockchain? Why? How would you validate the asset before investing money?

Week 6 [07.05-13.05.2018] Atheism and modernity

The religion has always played an important role in the history of the mankind, starting from paganism until modernity. It has been expressed in many different forms in various parts of the world. Nowadays we are facing an interesting fact when religious feelings are developing in two totally different directions, which are atheism and fanaticism. This video presents the most atheistic countries of the world.   Did you know that Asian countries are more atheistic than the rest of the world? In your opinion what can be the reason of this fact? What is the future of Europe in terms of religion? Do you think there is any possibility that atheists develop radical feelings/attitudes similar to those of fanatics?

Week 6 [07.05-13.05.2018] Soviet bus stops

We all have seen or at least heard about the Soviet architecture, which is mainly based on brutalism and which gave us at the end some crazy and unreliable examples of socialism. Those are often characterized by its bizarre, often monotonous and rigid forms. Most of the time Soviet architecture is perceived in a negative manner, and that is why rare architectural richness is not appreciated. One of its expressions for me is the form of Soviet bus stops, which sometimes might be mind blowing. They differ so strongly from one another that sometimes it is hard to believe it is just a bus stop. Their expression in forms, mosaics and paintings depend on which country, region or city they are located in. Mostly each country has its own style of the bus stop architecture. Bus stops in Central Asia are characterized mostly by mosaics, in Caucasus countries – by huge concrete and metal constructions, in Russia all the styles are mixed. Why did the bus stops

Week 6 [07.05-13.05.2018] What happens after the war?

Nowadays our world is very dangerous. It’s confirmed that a few countries have a nuclear bomb and other weapons which can kill a lot of people. We are after two World Wars. The results are inconceivable because these attacks have killed about 60-75 million people. We can read about generals who thought that war was the best option but did they think about people who were to die? What about their families? What about bereaved children? Currently, we can hear a lot of calls suggesting there could be the Third Civil War on the earth, there are too many conflicts which can lead to something seriously big. People are searching for a safe place in the world and we can call them “immigrants”. Questions: Should countries support pro-immigration initiatives? What is better to send money to countries where there are conflicts (caritas, red cross) or give people places to live and why? Should immigrants go back to their own country after a war or stay in a new place as long as th

Week 6 [07.05-13.05.2018] UberEATS

Uber Eats is an American online food ordering and delivery platform launched in 2014 and based in San Francisco, California. It was created by Uber Company and is working every day all over the world. Ordering can be done on Uber website or with a smartphone (OS or Android system) app. If you have your own restaurant it’s easy to be an Uber partner but I will give you more information about that in the next part of my presentation. https://www.theonlinecitizen.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/ubereat.png History What about Uber and UberEATS history? Uber Company was founded in 2009 by Travis Kalanick and Garrett Camp. It can be funny but the idea of Uber was created on the New Year’s Eve when Garret Camp had to pay a lot of money to a private driver. Nowadays they are offering various service types but some of them are unavailable in Europe. First food order was delivered in August 2014 with the launch of the UberFRESH (first name of platform) service in Santa
