TV vs. the Internet Web portals are becoming more popular than newspapers and magazines. One of the most popular magazines , “ Newsweek”(American version), ceased print publication on December 31, 2012. Now „ Newsweek” is available only in the electronic version. Impact of Social Media on the Society Facebook was launched in   2004.   After 12 years it had over 980 petabytes data. That is huge. Every month over 1.5 billion users upload billions of photos and over 10 million movies. It shows that communication has evolved. Today communication is based on visual materials. Uploading photos and movies people create superegos or alter egos. Big number of "likes" improves their self-esteem. A few months ago the American magazine, “Psychological Science” published research. 32 teenagers, aged 13-18,   participated in it Psychologists showed them their photos with different number of „likes”. Bigger number caused higher brain activity in areas responsible for happiness. Global warming concerns the whole earth environment. It affects all humanity around the world, and let’s be wider, all living beings. It divides more and more people in the whole world. Those who agree that  the process is happening fight with the ones who deny   this fact. There is one main reason why  so much doubt and discrepancies are observable:  One is not able to witness any effects. We cannot see that something is really happening. Global warming is a quite slow process, especially in comparison with an average human life length. Every single sign, which due to the scientists confirms the genuineness of the global warming, can be easily explained by a few more simple reasons. The world population is estimated at 7.4   billion, 16% of these people do not have enough food to lead healthy life. Approximately 3.1 million children die from hunger each year.   As the world population continuously grows, the problem of world hunger will only arise. Scientists and philanthropists   constantly look for   food that is cheap to produce and provides all crucial nutrients . Even in industrialized countries, getting all essential nutrients can be really hard. To prepare a balanced meal you need a lot of knowledge and time. We don’t have much time to really think what we put in our mouths.   When we are hungry we eat what’s most convenient at the time. Very often the most convenient food is the one which isn’t necessarily the best for our bodies. We eat tons of burgers, pizzas or other fast food. It brings us the necessary calories, but nothing much beside it. We still lack vitamins and other micronutrients to keep us healthy. Source: h...
