The problem with ecological cars emission in UK Since the adoption of the European Emission Allowance Directive in the European Parliament, all car makers have tried to submit. Since 1992, the Euro I standard has been in force, which limited the emission of carbon monoxide to the atmosphere. The Euro VI standard currently applies, which limits the series of exhaust gases. These include: hydrocarbons, nitrogen and carbon oxides, and dust. The most significant change was brought by the Euro IV standard. For the first time it introduced the limitation of nitrogen oxides, which are responsible for the harmful compounds of smog. What is smog? Smog consists of sulfur oxides, nitrogen and carbon. In addition, solid substances such as suspended dust (PM). Dust suspend in atmospheric aerosols may be in liquid and solid form. These can be particles of sea salt, clouds from the Sahara and artificial compounds made by people. These compounds...

I think they have already started to be used in advanced countries. For watering plants, exterminating insects or diseases, or extinguishing fires.
2.Aren't you worry about those small robots, that can make a map of every building and you didn't even notice it? Why? Why not?
I think there will be services in the future that will monitor the flying robots.
3.What other areas, do you think, we can profit from using flying robots?
I think in the delivery of goods, food, medicine. Amazon is already testing this method.
I don't think there's a reason to worry about small robots scanning buildings and making maps of it. It can be even helpful with i.e. making evacuation simulations etc.
What can be another huge step are drone deliveries of any kind. I heard of Amazon testing something like this but I haven't read about any progress with this idea for some time now.
It is a big concern right now and there is some evidence that supports the idea that we should be worried about our privacy when we around domestic robots. In fact, iRobot, company that produces cleaning robots, was accused of gathering and selling personal data of its users and mapped areas of houses. We only can guess how true these allegations are but many security experts think we should stop using personal robots if we value our privacy.
In my opinion, drones can be very useful in delivering goods and packages to remote locations that are hard to get to.
Yes, it's a reason to worry. Creators of robots should remember about personal space of people that cannot be invaded. If they forget about it I think that somebody invent some device, that will turn off or just not to let robots inside your house/flat.
One of the best areas is online shopping with robot workers: one main server that receive orders and send list of goods to the flying robot which collect and pack them and next deliver it to customer. It will be faster than people because robots or server will know locations of all goods in stock.
How soon, do you think, Amazon is going to use them on larger scale?
2. There is nothing wrong with that. Now a lot of robots work on this principle. For example, even vacuum cleaning robots also create for themselves a room map (not so detailed) in order to fully function.
3. Probably the most popular potential use of flying robots is shipping. It can be parcels, food, letters, whatever. Such a delivery will help reduce the time and possibly cost.
Also drones can be helpful in delivery business but I think that in case of delivery they are helpful in cases when they deliver something outside of the town because if this type of deliver will be applied to big town then possibly we will be have huge problem with crashes of the drones right on our heads.
I am not afraid of robots making maps of every building. In my opinion it would be great, just like in the movie Prometheus, where they were exploring some alien construction on other planet and they were using small robots to map the entire structure. What is more, I think that despite of small size of such robots, people can invent some methods which would prevent them from getting inside some buildings or rooms.
In my opinion there are many areas where flying robots can be useful. They can move and deliver different object, they can be used to mapping places and detecting objects. They are already used in entertainment, to create astonishing videos.
In my opinion yes, flying robots may be the future of farms. I can see it this way. Most farms are made of certain paths and patterns, which are not complicated - basically there are made of lines or circles. There is always some kind of regularity which can be handled easily by a machine. Same idea may applies to other industries, until it is not something super complicated, the process of adjusting a machine to work should be smooth.
Aren't you worry about those small robots, that can make a map of every building and you didn't even notice it? Why? Why not?
I am certainly not worried about that whatsoever. We live in times when any data may be collected without our notice. Things like internal maps of buildings are just a matter of time if you ask me. I would be more worried if those robots could perform some actions without any notice, rather than just scan environment.
What other areas, do you think, we can profit from using flying robots?
Just from the top of my head, those robots could be useful in transportation and overall commute. If their load was enough to lift person, it could dramatically change our way of transportation. Imagine tiny, urban airlines which transport you or your friends within minutes to the furthest place in the city.
Of course, they can be used in other industries, now it's very easy for photographers, and I think that not only would it work, but also for example on construction sites.
I think that so far nothing threatens us, and I'm probably just using the technology of house scanning, so I'm not worried at the moment.
We are developing and there will be more and more such robots. Right now we probably don't know how the government is watching us.
We can send robots to areas that aren't explored yet by us. In caves or other places where we don't have access and such a robot is able to fly there.
Small robots could easily get to "hard to get" places for human and the bigger ones could easily automatically fill stock
It think that they are the future, not only of farms but alos of other industries.
2. Aren't you worry about those small robots, that can make a map of every building and you didn't even notice it? Why? Why not?
I am, but I'm afraid it's too late to protect our privacy - it is already hard to do it, and in future it will even worse.
3. What other areas, do you think, we can profit from using flying robots?
Delivery of food or other things
I see your point. Using flying transport will extremely shorten your time of travel. When it could happen? Are we close to that point?
Privacy - this is really important topic related to technical developments, in m my opinion we can’t do much about it. Of course there are and will be proper regulations concerning this kind of machines, but I think, like in the Internet, it is impossible to be 100 % anonymous.
The most useful scenario for such machines is exploring areas which are too dangerous or not accessible for human e.g.: rescue missions during natural disaster. Another application is replacing human in repetitive and simple activities like delivering mail, parcels or any other goods.
I think of it as the next step in humans development. As a programmer, I'm aware of potential risks that it adds to our lives, but I also know how to fight with them. As far as we openly tell about dangers, I think it's okay. Thiefs have to break the looks to make them better, so I think we should not be that afraid about it, but take into account our privacy. For example, run these robots only in the rooms that we are not scared that this map will be spoiled.
Transportation, farming and shipping. These free will definitely benefit from flying drones. There is a countless number of usages of flying drones, so I think some people for sure will find a use of them in any industry we can think of.
I’m little scared because thief’s can used it to scan our house to know what we have in house.
Maybe to control traffic and create signs on the road to avoid traffic accidents in high speed or to create a buildings or new type of display ads.
Robots that we cant even see , or dont notice arent a problem they are just another way of doing whats has been done before and there is no way for us to stop that. Im afraid of people that will use them not of their capabilities.
Rescuers, forest overseeing, traffic discharging there are many ways flying robots can be useful to us.
Yes, of course I think that flying robots can be future of effective farming. Nowadays, people have to know how to use a lot of machines and be careful about special fertilizers for growing etc. Robots can do it faster without people. It can be key moment of farming.
To be honest, I'm worry about robots. I don't trust them, situation with farms is something different for me. I'm scary about that. I'm not against flying robots on the ground but I don't want to see them near to my house.
Hmmm, I think that the best option for flying robots is postman job because they can avoid traffic jams and deliver package as fast as possible without thinking about old car's engines, fuel reserve etc. There is good video with explanation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ok7Lp-37Et8&frags=pl%2Cwn.
I m' not worried about these small robots that can create a map of each building, because they aren’t that small that we can't see the flying robot.
In my opinion, flying robots can be useful in case of a bank robbery, terrorist attack or other police activities.
2. Well robots are already used in military so I am not that worried. It is quite obvious that people can use technologies in both positive and harmful way. Despite that I firmly believe that robots will bring more benefits than damage to our society.
3. We often hear about alpinists that get lost in mountains. Maybe such robots could help in finding them in time. I think that rescue missions could make use of such robots. Obviously we would have to adapt those robots first. For example make them more resistant to lower or higher temperatures.
Anything that has artificial intelligence can pose a potential threat to humanity, which is why machines should not have their own will and have limitations.
Flying robots can also be used to save lives in difficult conditions, eg in difficult conditions where people can not reach.
Also under the account of delivering parcels where such robots would be able to deliver the pre-ordered item faster
especially when drones are becoming better and better nowadays and are still under well developing.
I am not big fan of conspiracy theories when technology works against us so no, I am not afraid of that.
In any kind of delivering for example.
If this solution is not expensive, it will be popular. Drones will facilitate the work of many American farmers. And yes, drones can be used to build more travel maps. Any point on the planet will be visible on your device. You will never get lost. You will always find your way through flying drones.
2. I think that it is a big challenge for us as a programmers to care about a privacy in our products. I think that it is highly possible that such robots will be able to scan every building which can be useful but we also should have solution to have a possibility to block such scanning.
3. As I already said I think that such flying robots will be the best for delivering packages.
Yes. I think they can be helpful in almost every other industry. For example imagine delivering mail/packages by drones. It would be awesome, you could track your package real time.
Aren't you worry about those small robots, that can make a map of every building and you didn't even notice it? Why? Why not?
Why would I worry about it? I'm 100% into new things and technologies, and I hope that they will do a lot of positive things in terms of our living.
What other areas, do you think, we can profit from using flying robots?
Medical - imagine flying drones patroling streets, parks, etc for a people with medical problems, like faint or something like that. There are a lot of possibilities
I would say it is presence. There are many drones right now which helps farmers. For example drones applicate liquids with pesticides.
Aren't you worry about those small robots, that can make a map of every building and you didn't even notice it? Why? Why not?
I don't believe that they would be able to fly everywhere, even if they won't propably have rights to record anything they want.
What other areas, do you think, we can profit from using flying robots?
There are number of areas like that. Drones are now used by firefighters to
extinguish the fire in the buildings or by energy companies to remove things from the high voltage lines.
