Questions:
1. Have you ever driven a turbocharged car?
2. What do you think about today downsized engines?

3. Have you ever seen a Donut Media' video before?

I’ve driven a turbocharged cars many times and also my own car does have a turbo. For sure it’s a great feeling when turbocharger is pumping pressure and our car is accelerating incredibly fast but nowadays turbocharges are used in bad ways. Some time ago when achieving more power from engines was more difficult, turbochargers were a great idea to support engine. Nowadays, because of stupid regulations, car engines are being made smaller and smaller and equipped with one or more turbochargers. Those engines are working in hard conditions and their lifetime is shorter. I like importing cars from the USA because they don’t have those funny regulations and they can have normal engines. I’ve never seen a donut media video before.
Funny enough, in my homecountry it is illegal to modify your car. And prior to each modification like installing a turbo, you have to go through a super complicated heavily burocraticised procedure which will cost nearly as a new car. Here, in Poland, you are totally free to reorganize your car into a monstrous racing thing? If yes, then it is more than awesome.
You are free to go with your modifications but it has some biurocratic stuff afterwards. Its not as bad as you say, thanks god. You just have to meet some regulations that any other car do. Also you can expect some higher prices on your insurence.
I feel exactly the same way about what is happening nowadays. I have never imported car myself but im trying to turbo my miata on my own soon.
They got some interesting videos on many different topics based on cars so maybe you should check it out.

Of course I often drive a turbocharged engine and I think that when combined it wit an automatic transmission it’s great.

I think that’s a bed idea because cars use more fuel and break down faster.

I have never seen a Donut Media’s video before.

I have driven a few cars with turbocharger before and I really liked it. It gives cars more power that is very useful when you're driving. These days engines are getting smaller which means that turbocharger is needed to make the car more dynamic. The fact is that after 3-4 years of using a car actively, the engine is no longer usable. In my opinion, this is definitely not good. I have never seen Donut Media' before but I enjoyed watching the video.
That is exactly same with me, couldn't agree more. Thanks for your comment, im glad that you liked a vid.
A great explanatory video, I've never seen any of Donut Media materials, but they seem to be funny and valuable when it comes to knowledge. I've driven three or four different cars which were turbocharged and what can I say - it is fun, I love both turbo and blow-off sound. I think today's downsized engines are the result of an enormous amount of exhaust fumes produced for example by those cars with 5-liter V8 engines. It is the fact that we won't have infinite amounts of fuel to tank such cars and hybrid/electric cars will become more common. I'm not such a huge petrolhead, but I support the idea of using electric cars for daily (transportation) purposes and driving those petrol fueled cars only on some special occasions.

This is fun way to explain things i enjoyed it. So far I'm still planning to get a driving licence thus I hope next year I would be riding bike. Fascinated with the technology and how you can solve different physics problems.

Yes, I did. I’m currently owning the turbocharged car.
I think it's brilliant. It allows to decrease fuel consumption and nowadays no more significant difference between cars and SUVs and you can see how it changing car industry today - Luxury brands as Rolls Roys and Lamborgini engineering SUVs. GM, Crisler, and Ford dimensioning their sedans…
I did. I saw a few of their videos before. I like the content which they making and topics, but I don’t like how they present this information, so not following this channel...

Maybe.
I don't know.
No.

Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of cars, so it's hard to answer two first topics. I have my driven license since 2014, but I have driven only 5 different vehicles since then. I haven't had any idea if any of them had a turbocharger or not.

There must be a reason that people decided to downsize the engines, so there must be a rising behind this. But what is that? I have no clue.

I currently have 3l diesel which is turbocharged, I drive this car so I am satisfied with it’s turbo 😊. Driving with such equipment really does the job.
Nowadays these reduced engines turbocharged ones can easily overtake V8 cars. Mounting smaller engines is also a procedure reducing the mass of vehicles which results in better results on the roads.
I didn't see him before, but it seems cool.

Couple of cars ive driven had an turbocharger installed either from factory or as an aftermarket modification, one of them even had two!.
So when it comes to downsized engines i have mixed feelings while "new" 2016 Ford lineup with Raptor and Mustang refresh proves that V6 can pull off a lot of power and torque, its not really the same feeling as having naturally aspirated V8 or V12 under the hood.
When it comes to Donut Media ive never heard about it before and ive never watched any of their videos before this one.

- I haven't driven a turbocharged car before but just rides it before.
"Honda Accord Turbo 97".

- I think the cars engines have Eco and turbo system it will be a useful and great choice because nowadays cars engines market has infinite features for choice.

- I have never heard about "Donut Media" before.

Thanks for sharing great YouTube channel.
Of course I have driven turbocharged cars as turbocharger is present in almost every diesel engine nowadays. But I really love cars with petrol engines equipped with turbocharger (e.g.: 1.8 T from VAG) as it feels completely different than in diesel engines and gives you a lot of joy while driving it.
I know that downsizing is driven by environment protection regulations and helps to reduce emissions of e.g.: carbon dioxide and other pollutions. However, as a petrolhead, I really hate the engine downsizing trend as it has caused engines to be very fragile, less powerful and make you feel like you are driving lawnmower :).
That's exactly why i added this video. I think it's great example of what this Channel is doing and i want more petrolheads to See it! Im glad you liked it.
In turbocharged cars i love that its not as predictable as power is not linear with rews. It adds So much excitment to driving. Unluckly i had never driven biturbo car but i can believe its awesome!
I'm also supporting hybrids and electrical cars but still, sound and feeling of Real V8 i uncomperable. But its also So much more expencive than any electrical car.
Yes, I have driven a turbocharged car. I have driven turbocharged cars in different price segments. From turbocharged ford fiesta and mondeo to turbocharged Mercedes G63 AMG.

I think that automobile companies going in the right way. What ordinary user need from a car? And most people will answer - reduce fuel consumption. That’s what a new downsized engines giving them. So, in my opinion, new downsized turbocharged engines are perfect for universal driver and also for me and my daily driver. But of course, if I think about a ‘dream’ car - I think about naturally aspirated v12 or v10 :)

No, I have never seen a Donut Media' video before, but I’m watching a lot of similar shows.

1. I have never driven a turbocharged car but I would like to.
2. I think that it is not good idea. Government shouldn't have be so much greedy with their taxes for fuel and we should have cars with bigger engines because they are more resistant which makes them more ecologically than cars with small engines which can be destroyed after 100000 km.
3. I have never seen a Donut Media video before but I am glad that I had an occasion to watch it. ;)

1. Have you ever driven a turbocharged car?
Yes I have because I own one :)
2. What do you think about today downsized engines?
I like the idea of downsizing engines but not too much. It's more ecological and newer technologies reduce the use of a gasoline. On the other hand too small engine in bigger cars can cause problems. I've heard that Vovlo reduced their engines in all car, also in their biggest SUV's. Supposedly these were some problems connected with this.
3. Have you ever seen a Donut Media' video before?
No, this is the first one I've watched but I will definetly watch more.
There are also some super expensive electrical cars like upcoming Tesla Roadster Founders Edition which costs 250,000$ or Rimac Concept One with insane price of 980,000$.

Week 11 [03-09.06.2019] The problem with ecological cars emission in UK

The problem with ecological cars emission in UK Since the adoption of the European Emission Allowance Directive in the European Parliament, all car makers have tried to submit. Since 1992, the Euro I standard has been in force, which limited the emission of carbon monoxide to the atmosphere. The Euro VI standard currently applies, which limits the series of exhaust gases. These include: hydrocarbons, nitrogen and carbon oxides, and dust.   The most significant change was brought by the Euro IV standard. For the first time it introduced the limitation of nitrogen oxides, which are responsible for the harmful compounds of smog.   What is smog?   Smog consists of sulfur oxides, nitrogen and carbon. In addition, solid substances such as suspended dust (PM). Dust suspend in atmospheric aerosols may be in liquid and solid form. These can be particles of sea salt, clouds from the Sahara and artificial compounds made by people. These compounds often come fr

Week 12 (12.01-18.01.15) Are you an early bird or a night owl ?

Owls are nocturnal creatures. They’re wide awake at night and they sleep during the day. If this sounds like bliss to you, then, like about 20 percent of the population who find themselves most active at around 9 pm, you may fall into the same category as our feathered friend. Night owls often have difficulty waking up in the morning, and like to be up late at night.  Studies of animal behaviour indicate that being a night owl may actually be built into some people’s genes. This would explain why those late-to-bed, late-to-rise people find it so difficult to change their behaviour. The trouble for night owls is that they just have to be at places such as work and school far too early. This is when the alarm clock becomes the night owl’s most important survival tool. Experts say that one way for a night owl to beat their dependence on their alarm clocks is to sleep with the curtains open. The Theory is that if they do so, the morning sunlight will awaken them gently and naturally.
