Week 10 [25.05 - 31.05] Tea drinking culture

What exactly is tea?

Tea is plant originating from China, first it grew wild and then it was known by people lived there. We must remember that tea is one plant and all tea colors that we distinguish come from one plant.

So what are tea colors?

The most popular is black tea which is very aromatic in taste and dark in color. Next is green tea her color is light and the taste delicate. The healthiest tea is white which has fluff-covered leaves and also has a delicate brew. the last popular tea is red, which has very earthy taste and almost black color. The last two types are little known, it is blue and yellow tea with a rich taste. And that's it, the other "teas" are really fruit or herbal infusions, they are not teas because the leaves do not come from the tea bush.

Okey, so how to prepare tea properly?

If we brew tea in a bag, no problem, there is a weighed amount in each bag, the problem appears when we have leaf tea. Tea producers most often give a teaspoon per cup, but we must remember that different teas have different weights, as in the photo above, white tea has large leaves so it will weigh less than pu erh having small leaves. The solution here is to have weight and measure the tea in grams, if we do not have it we can think that white tea should give 2 tablespoons per cup, and the rest spoon per cup.

1) Water should not be boiled because it loses a lot of oxygen during cooking.

2) We should not flood the tea with bubbling water because it will burn the leaves if the water boils we should wait a moment.

3) We brew green tea at 60 - 75 degrees Celsius if we can't check the water temperature, we can transfer it from cup to cup, the cool cup will take over the temperature and the water will lose approximately 10 degrees Celsius.

4) additions should be added at the very end, after brewing because it can negatively affect the brew - lemon juice combined with tea leaves extracts aluminum citrate from it, which is dangerous to health, also sugar should be added later.

5) Leaf tea can be brewed several times, just remember that the grounds do not lie in the rest of the infusion (for example, the same red tea leaves can be brewed up to 6 times)

Of course, some of these tips are more directed at tea fanatics, but it's worth remembering something like this and when you have time to use it.
Questions:
1. How often do you drink tea, do you like to drink it?
2. Did you know any advice on how to make tea? what advice surprised you?
3. Do you have any favorite tea color? if so, what and why?

Comments

1. I drink several cups a day. I drink definitely more tea in autumn and winter. Yes, I definitely like different types and I like both the drinking process and the preparation.
2. I know most of these principles. However, I wonder the first point, I need to deepen my knowledge about the impact of oxygen on tea brewing.
3. It seems to me that I like white the most, it is mild and has the most interesting taste. In addition to tea, I also like to drink herbs.

1. I love drinking tea, this is my favorite drink. It’s great for all weather and any season. I drink a few glasses with each meal, and I drink it between meals .... I don't even think about how many glasses a day. I can't imagine my life without a cup of tea!

2. I knew almost all of the tea brewing rules listed. I was surprised that lemon juice combined with tea leaves extracts aluminum citrate, I have to read about other reactions of this type.

3. I like black Kenyan teas and I drink them the most, sometimes I also drink white tea. I don't like the green tea and hate it scent either.
1) I drink tea every morning and from one to two cups later during the day. I like it a lot, way more than coffee. Teas have a better taste for me and it is easier to change the taste of it, because we simply take another package from the shelve.

2) Yes, I knew about these pieces of advice. I am just wondering why teas sold in the markets usually require 100-degree water to be used for preparation. I don't know if it is a market trick so that people will buy ones that are easiest to be made, or is this tea some kind of prepared for it.

3) I like green tea. It has a good, fresh taste for me and it also wakes me up :)
1. How often do you drink tea, do you like to drink it?
I have been drinking black tea almost every day. I love the distinct taste the tea has. Recently I was diagnosed with some nasty disease that prohibits me drinking any tea, so you could say I am on the tea rehab.
2. Did you know any advice on how to make tea? what advice surprised you?
I love some good tea with chocolate so my advise for you is to consume them with this combination.
3. Do you have any favorite tea color? if so, what and why?
My favorite tea color is black, because it reminds me of African people whom I absolutely endorse.
Tea is my favorite warm drink. I drink it every day for breakfast and often several times during the day. I love to drink it. My favorite tea is white tea. From what I know, it is best to make tea at a temperature of about 80 degrees Celsius. Additionally, it is worth making it in a special container made of real herbs / teas, not those from the bag. My favorite tea is white and raspberry, although raspberry has been with me for over 15 years, and I like white for about half a year. I also like black tea, but it's not my favourite one.

1. How often do you drink tea, do you like to drink it?

Unlike coffee, I love tea. I try to drink at least six cups of Japanese green tea (sencha) a day and feel good about it. I don't think you can overdose tea. Tea is a very healthy drink and is suitable for everyone. For an average person it is recommended to drink 3-5 cups of tea a day. However, it depends on the individual.

2. Did you know any advice on how to make tea? what advice surprised you?

In my opinion, people make bad tea. For most green teas the water should be hot (not boiling!) and the brewing time should be 2-3 minutes. If the water boils, leave it to cool down for 3-5 minutes before steaming. In the case of oolong tea, leave the water for about one minute and then brew the bag for 3-5 minutes. For black and pu-erh tea, use freshly boiled water and brew the bag for 3-5 minutes.

3. Do you have any favorite tea color? if so, what and why?

I like red tea.

1. How often do you drink tea, do you like to drink it?
I drink tea quite often I think at least 3 times per day. Sometimes it seems like tea tradition came from Ukraine as when guests come to your house the first thing you suggest is a cup of tea:) I adore drinking tea and drink it every day.
2. Did you know any advice on how to make tea? what advice surprised you?
I was surprised by this fact:2) We should not flood the tea with bubbling water because it will burn the leaves if the water boils we should wait a moment. (as I usually pour bubbling water and that seems to be wrong)
3. Do you have any favorite tea color? if so, what and why?
I really like black tea. My favourite is black tea with soursop

Every day, two to three times. I love it.
2. Did you know any advice on how to make tea? what advice surprised you?
I knew about the technique of the cold brewing, but rarely applied it.

Black tea, the most tasty

1. How often do you drink tea, do you like to drink it?
Yes, I really like to drink tea and I drink it a lot. :) On average it is 5 mugs a day. I guess, it is a great drink for every day in any weather. I prefer to drink tea without sugar, but sometimes I like to add honey, lemon, or ginger.

2. Did you know any advice on how to make tea? what advice surprised you?
No, I haven`t known some advice. For, example the second point that we should not flood the tea with bubbling water. But I was surprised by the fourth advice, that lemon juice combined with tea leaves immediately can be unhealthy.

3. Do you have any favorite tea color? if so, what and why?
Yes, I prefer green tea. I think that is because I have drunk it a lot in my childhood when I was spending the summer holidays with my grandparents in Saint Petersburg. So the taste and flavor of green tea associate with happy memories :)
1. How often do you drink tea, do you like to drink it?
I do like to drink tea, and I drink it almost every morning.

2. Did you know any advice on how to make tea? what advice surprised you?
I am not an expert in making food or cooking, but I can recommend making this particular tea. The preparation is simple to boil one cup of water mixed with one cup of milk add one teaspoon of black tea and grinder let it boil for around 10 mins, there you have it!

3. Do you have any favorite tea color? if so, what and why?
I think I prefer black tea maybe because this is the one I'm used to but sometimes also green tea. After all, I heard it was healthy and taste good rightly prepared.

1. How often do you drink tea, do you like to drink it?

I drink tea sporadically. Very rare indeed. I drink coffee more often. Some say drinking coffee is bad. Others that make tea. Well, I chose coffee. I drink it every day but lately I have more and more often reaching for tea.

2. Did you know any advice on how to make tea? what advice surprised you?

I don't know. I admire the Japanese who made it a ritual. I think I would like to drink such a tea. It's a pity that our bars don't serve "good" tea.

3. Do you have any favorite tea color? if so, what and why?

Because I'm not a tea lover, I don't have a favorite color for it. If I drink it's black and in winter with a bit of lemon.

1. How often do you drink tea, do you like to drink it?
I drink tea 3-4 times a week. It's not much but if I don't have anything sweet to drink at home I go for a tea with 1-2 spoons of sugar. I like to drink tea overall but some flavours are just not for me. I mostly drink a classic black one with some juice/syrup.

2. I don't have any advice because I don't think I know enough about it. I was surprised about the temperatures that the water should have for a specific type of tea. I saw this somewhere but didn't remember what temperature was for what.

3. Favourite tea color? Red/Pink/Purple one always make me feel like home because my grandparents always make that colour of tea for me. I think its because they always use some mix of fruits to infuse it.
Adam Tokarczyk said…
1. Not too often. Probably few times a week. Sometimes not at all. I prefer to drink water, eventually coffee. But it's not like I dislike its taste. Most of teas are really good. I simply like plain water more and it doesn't need any preparation so tea is just on a lost position.

2. I'm more or less aware with how tea is brewed. I didn't know specific temperature for brewing green (or any other) tea, but I never pour bubbling water into cup. I learned it on making bad coffee once. It was extremely sour. Ever since I always wait for water to cool a bit, and began to do the same with tea. I was surprised that adding lemon juice to tea might be unhealthy. Moreover I'm almost sure I always add it (and other things) way too early :).

3. Cold one. Seriously, it doesn't matter much to me what kind of tea was made, but I hate to drink hot drinks. Maybe it's another reason why I prefer water instead of it. For example with coffee it's the same. I brew it and then wait till it's cold. Lately I drink mostly some green tea. Don't have any particular reason for it though. Just gonna have to try brewing it with lower temperature now, since you mentioned it should be 60-75.

1. I drink tea all the time. It’s my drink of choice when I’m at home. I like the fact that you get a decent flavour without any added sugar.

2. I’ve heard that different tea colors require different temperatures of brewing. I also reuse some tea leaves. On the other hand, I’m surprised that bubbling water has such a negative effect on the brewing process.

3. It all depends on the time of the day and my mood. My breakfast must be accompanied by a black tea. However, as the day progresses I limit my theine intake so I switch to less energizing tisanes like rooibos or mint.

1. I absolutely love tea! I'm drinking it any time possible and I love trying new kinds. I drink tea 2-3 times per day. Mostly green/white/oolong and sometimes simple black with lemon.

2. I think I was suprised about the water temperature. I also reccomend to switch from express tea bags to real tea leaves

3. Oolong or green

1. How often do you drink tea, do you like to drink it?
I drink it almost everyday, I like to drink the Chinese green tea a lot. I am that kind of person prefer tea rather than coffee.

2. Did you know any advice on how to make tea? what advice surprised you?
Yes, I found that making green tea in a glass cup will make it more delicious, and I never use detergent to wash my teapot. But I don't know if this is based on science, this may be my psychological effect.

3. Do you have any favorite tea color? if so, what and why?
No, but if I have to tell one, I guess it should be green color, because I like green tea the most.
1. It depends on the season. In autumn and winter, I drink tea almost every day. In warmer seasons I don't drink as much but I still have a cup once in a while.

2. I knew all of them ;) what surprises me are people that add lemon to their boiling-hot tea thinking it will be rich in vitamin C... I start to believe that people don't listen to chemistry classes at all. By the way, instead of the thermometer, I recommend an electric kettle that can be set to the desired temperature. I have one that can be set between 60 to 100 degrees Celsius, so I do my tea according to the proper blend.

3. My tea drinking habits vary from season to season but if I had to peek I'd choose green tea. Japanese say that one cup a day is the secret to a long, healthy life! I hope they are right! Once I bought Genmaicha: a Japanese green tee with roasted rice. As weird as this combination seems it is worth a try. Currently, that's my favourite tea.
1. How often do you drink tea, do you like to drink it?
I used to drink tea a lot, and i liked the taste but now i only drink yerba mate.

2. Did you know any advice on how to make tea? what advice surprised you?
Actually i knew all of that. As i said i used to drink a lot of tea and i was a little into it and i guess those are the basics of brewing good tea.

3. Do you have any favorite tea color? if so, what and why?
I liked black and green teas. Black because of its flavour and that i can add some juice to it and the taste will be greate and green because of its delicacy and stimulant properties.

1. I personally drink tea 3-5 times a day. This is my favorite drink and goes well with any meal as well as the drink itself.

2. Nothing surprised me with this text. Personally, I am a big fan of tea and I know how to brew tea.

3. As for the color of the tea, of course it is classic black. I don't like adding perfumed artificial scents or colors to things that are perfect by themselves.
I drink tea quite often. Not as often as coffee which I drink every day, but I like tea as well. I would say that I drink it about 5 or 6 times a week. I heard about these principles how to prepare a tea, but I don’t really use them. I mean I tried them, but for me it didn’t really make any difference. It’s probably because I am doing something wrong or it works with some other types of tea. I’m talking about regular black tea in bags, I don’t know if it also applies to these principles. I think my favorite tea is just black with lemon aroma. I don’t know why, it just tastes best for me and maybe it’s because of habit or because everyone at my home drinks that. So, to sum up, tea is awesome and tasty but still coffee is winner for me.

1. I usually drink two, maybe three cups of tea each day. I tend to get cold quite a lot, so I drink it to get warm. I don’t have any special taste preferences, as long as it’s not too bitter. From time to time, I enjoy drinking more fancy type of tea, than from classic teabags. So, I guess we can say I like to drink tea 

2. In fact, I knew every piece of advice that you wrote in your article. I think they are quite common, but of course, if you are not interested in tea brewing at all, they may surprise you a lot, but as I said, it wasn’t anything new for me. Additionally, we had tea brewing classes organized by our classmate last semester, so I have learned about importance of the cups, that we drink tea from, how leaves should be prepared, and why the water temperature is so important.

3. I don’t think I have a favorite one, but I prefer green or white tea rather than the classic black one. It’s more delicate in my opinion, usually less bitter for my taste buds. Oh, no! sorry! I hate pu-erh! I don’t know why, but there is just something odd in this type of tea in my opinion. Maybe it is this earthy taste that you have mentioned? I don’t know, but I can tell you I have tried it once, or twice, and avoid it ever since.
1. How often do you drink tea, do you like to drink it?
I drink tea three times per day. I always drink tea in the morning and evening and sometimes in afternoon. I love drinking tea and hate coffee. I think tea is delicious. Sometimes with my friends I go to tearoom to try many kinds of tea.

2. Did you know any advice on how to make tea? what advice surprised you?
Unfortunately, I don’t know any advices how to make tea. I often brew tea in a bag. I was surprised that I can brew tea several times. I didn’t know that. I learnt something new. I didn’t know that red tea leaves can be brewed up to 6 times. It’s very interesting.

3. Do you have any favorite tea color? if so, what and why?
Yes, I have. My favorite tea color is green. I always drink tea without sugar. I have heard that green tea is good for health. When I am in the tearoom I often try different kinds of green tea.
1. I drink tea everyday, after every meal. I LOVE it. Funny fact is that Poland is in top 10 countries with highest tea consumptions per capita.

2. I don’t know any more that given in the text. I was surprised about not boiling the water, I always used to boil it a then i would wait for water to cool down.

3. My favourite tea is green. I am not an advanced tea drinker i usually drink from lipton tea bags, but i want to myself couple of bags of different tea leafs.

1. I usually drink two cups of tea everyday. Yes, i do like drinking tea.

2. I have heard about most of the advice from the article, but I have never tried them out. I was surprised about that the additions should be added after brewing. I had no idea that adding lemon juice during brewing can be dangerous for your health.

3. My favourive kind of tea is green tea. I have no reason for this other than i like it's taste the most.
1. How often do you drink tea, do you like to drink it?
I don’t like to drink tea. I only drink tea when I get sick or have stomach pains.
2. Did you know any advice on how to make tea? what advice surprised you?
Yes, I heard about some of them, but I never paid attention to it maybe this is the reason why I don't drink a lot of tea. What surprised me was that the loss of oxygen in water affects tea.
3. Do you have any favorite tea color? if so, what and why?
I've always used black tea so I will say black tea. why? Well because I only used this one and I'm used to it, I don't have any special reasons
Interesting presentation. Answering your questions:

1. I rarely drink tea, if only in the morning and for dinner, but really rare.

2. I don't know any advice about making tea. I put tea in a glass and pour boiling water. That's it and this is cool for me.

3. No, I don't have a favorite tea color. I don't care, honestly.

1. How often do you drink tea, do you like to drink it?

I drink tea every day, a few couples each day. I like it but it's more like a tradition or a habit. A combination of those two I think, it's hard to define which one exactly.

2. Did you know any advice on how to make tea? what advice surprised you?

Those about boiling and temperature. And also about using the same leaves a couple of times. My parents discovered this fact some years ago from one event. But the fact that I should add sugar in the end was a surprise a bit.

3. Do you have any favorite tea color? if so, what and why?

Black? Don't like green at all and hardly ever there is a chance to taste others. Maybe these are the reasons.

1. I usually drink one cup a day. In the afternoon.
2. Each of the advice was quite helpful, I've heard about the fact that you should not add lemon right away to the cup, but didn't know why. What was new to was the fact that you can brew red tea up to 6 times. I usually throw away the leaves after only one brewing.
3. I like best the black tea. There's something irreplaceable in its bitter taste. However from time to time I drink white tea too, its much lighter in taste.
1 / I do not drink tea often; I drink coffee more often than tea. But if I drink it is black and white.

2 / I saw a video about how traditional tea is prepared according to all the rules and it inspires me a lot. What if you put a slice of lemon in tea, it brightens.

3 / I think it is definitely blue tea! =)

3. I usually drink earl grey and green tea.

1. How often do you drink tea, do you like to drink it?
2. Did you know any advice on how to make tea? what advice surprised you?
3. Do you have any favorite tea color? if so, what and why?
1.Not too often, only in winter or autumn when I need to warm up when I get home. In the summer, I happen to buy typical Ice tea to satisfy my thirst, but I don't even know if this can be counted as real tea. Generally I like to drink tea but only with lemon, without it tea is practically impossible for me to drink.
2 I don't know much about tea brewing, I'm no specialist in it, so I probably don't know any good advice. What surprised me most about the lemon, as I mentioned before, was the fact that I only drink tea with lemon, and I happened to rush into the tea while it was still brewing - now I know where the incredibly tart taste that made the tea undrinking could come from.
3. I don't have my favourite colour, honestly I only know that white is the more delicate one, but if I had to choose, I would say that my favourite colour is green, I have ordered it several times in restaurants and I remember that it tasted good.

1.I am a heavy coffee drinker but in winter months I do actually like a cup of tea sometimes. It doesn't happen often though.

2.I did know that you shouldn't pour boiling water on green tea. Did not know that it can actually be applied to every kind of tea - that is interesting. Also I thought I am the only person using the same tea leaves over and over again - I did it because I like using everything until it has nothing left to give me. Didn't know it's a normal practice when drinking tea.

3.I really like a good quality milk oolong. The flavour is quite mild but very interesting and (like the name suggest) milky. You can taste notes of vanilla and cream :)

1. Yes I like tea, I am drinking it very often. I can't live without couple of tea in day. If am drinking it during the day, I feel myself bad and miss it.
2. I don't know any additional advice. I am tea lover, I used to prepare tea very carefully before, but here in Poland I just boil a water and put my tea bag.
I heard some of advices but I didn't know that bubbling water can have negative effects. Usually I prefer very hot tea and if it is not hot enough I boil it again
3. My favourite tea is a black tea.
From time to time I drink green tea
It causes Alzheimer's, the fact is that you would have to drink tea this way every day for several years to make it dangerous, but if you can, you shouldn't underestimate this
I'm also curious about it, maybe because tea leaves in bags are the size of grains of sand, so they can't burn too much?
Thank you for answer, I tried black tea which I cooked with cocoa and milk, it isnt common combination for me but it goes perfectly with breakfast
Oh, red tea is terrible for me, maybe because I don't drink flavored teas and earthy and aromatic is not to my taste, but sencha is one of my favorites
1. How often do you drink tea, do you like to drink it?
I think i drink it once per day. I was interested with this topic for a while. I also bought several different types to taste blue tea from China for example.

2. Did you know any advice on how to make tea? what advice surprised you?
Yes, when i bought several different types (as i said in frist point) i got some instruction and every type of tea has different requirements. I think none of this point surprised me.

3. Do you have any favorite tea color? if so, what and why?
I don't have favourite color of tea but yesterday i drunk Yerba Mate Lemon and it was good enough... :)
Thank you for answer, green tea is also my favorite after white, yes it is true, green tea is the most difficult to prepare because it is easy to spoil taste for disgusting
In my opinion cold brewing is the best substitute for "ice tea" in summer
I think in Poland green tea is not very popular and not a lot of people drink it at home, in Russia it is perhaps more popular?

I used to drink a lot of tea, today I prefer other herbs such as sage, lemon balm, chamomile, mint, yerba mate.
Today I drink tea mainly in the form of “mulled” with fruit and honey, usually in autumn and winter.

2. Did you know any advice on how to make tea? what advice surprised you?

When it comes to 'ordinary' tea - I like Japanese Matcha green tea the most, so I like this color the most. Matcha is green tea powder.
Matcha can work like coffee, however, if the brewing time of matcha tea (as well as other green tea) is extended to 5-8 minutes, it will have relaxing properties, which it owes to L-theanine. Research shows that L-theanine has a calming effect, reduces stress and anxiety, and stabilizes mood.

1. How often do you drink tea, do you like to drink it?
I used to drink tea every day in my school days. To be more precise, I drank it for breakfast every morning. Then I refused tea and coffee and drank only water. Today I drink tea, but very rarely. Most likely this most often happens at some meetings with friends, for example. Because we have a tradition of drinking tea, we can try 2-3 different types of tea in one meeting.

2. Did you know any advice on how to make tea? what advice surprised you?
I was surprised at the moment that tea leaves can be brewed several times. I used to hear advice that tea leaves should be changed as often as possible, that is, at each tea intake there should be new tea leaves. But this is a good fact that will save tea. But unfortunately I don’t know a lot of facts about how to drink it correctly, since it seems to me that this is most likely a matter of taste.

3. Do you have any favorite tea color? if so, what and why?
I like green tea. I sometimes drink black, but very rarely. Green as far as I know has a wide range of useful properties. This is probably why I went from black to green, and then I discovered new tastes of green tea and only I began to drink. I like Japanese linden citrus green tea.
1. How often do you drink tea, do you like to drink it?
I drink tea from once to twice per day. I like drinking tea and I like it even more than coffee. Well, to be honest, I like to drink both of them, but tea is more preferable.

2. Did you know any advice on how to make tea? what advice surprised you?
Actually, almost everything, which was is this article I knew. I like to try something new, so I am trying to taste different types of tea. As every type of tea has its own rules, you have to remember to have to prepare different tea.

3. Do you have any favorite tea color? if so, what and why?
It could sound a little bit strange, but I really like black tea. Properly prepared this is a great drinking and I really like it and could drink it all day longs.
1. How often do you drink tea, do you like to drink it?
Probably like once a weak. I love coffee so that's the winner for me.
2. Did you know any advice on how to make tea? what advice surprised you?
Most of the things were new for me. When I make tea it is just regular tea without any special treatment if you can call you like that.
3. Do you have any favorite tea color? if so, what and why?
It is probably white tea.

1. I drink tea about 3 times a day, usually after a meal. I like it, it makes me feel better when I drank something warm. Hot tea is the best in the winter when I come back home and it’s really cold outside.

2. I’ve known most advice you mentioned but I didn’t know that leaf tea can be used that many times. Despite the fact that I know these facts, I usually don’t have time or patience to wait till the water cool down so as not to pour tea with boiling water.

3. I drink almost only a black tea. I drink it with a lemon. I’ve tried green tea or white tea but I didn’t like it as much as a black one.

I am not a tea goer, I am more of a coffee person. I drink tea when I am sick or during winter only.

2. Did you know any advice on how to make tea? what advice surprised you?

I didn’t know any of these advices as I don’t drink tea. But I can say that I heard an interesting advice that is used by Moroccans. I can’t really remember what was the purpose of it but they poured tea from height.

3. Do you have any favorite tea color? if so, what and why?

I like tea made from Clitoria ternatea, it has this deep blue color, but when you add lemon’s juice and PH changes to acid, it’s color switches to intensive purple.
1. How often do you drink tea, do you like to drink it?
I drink earl grey several times per day, I like it very much but coffee is the love of my life :)
2. Did you know any advice on how to make tea? what advice surprised you?
For me was a surprise that green tea should be brewed at 60 - 75 degrees Celsius, all other advised a have already known.
3. Do you have any favorite tea color? if so, what and why?
Pu erh tea looks very beautiful, I like dark deep shades of red. Unfortunately, I didn't see it live.

1. How often do you drink tea, do you like to drink it?

I drink tea every day, except for a couple of days when my friends invite me out and I can't do it (coming back home after a trip, for example). A tea is my favorite beverage. After a few years of constantly drinking tea, I became used to the taste, I like it.

2. Did you know any advice on how to make tea? what advice surprised you?

Yeah I've actually tried some of those tricks with tea, but the first thing I ever learned was not to boil the water! And I tried to boil the water, and that just made the tea gassy, it actually made the tea ugly and just nasty.

3. Do you have any favorite tea color? if so, what and why?

I love green tea, but I love that it's used to turn one's skin green, too. The smell, to me, has always been the scent of weeds in the pot.
1. How often do you drink tea, do you like to drink it?
Well... Every day. I'm addicted to tea and I have been drinking it instead of water for over 15 years now. I don't like it, I love it.

2. Did you know any advice on how to make tea? what advice surprised you?
I knew all of them and nothing surprised me. More over I can add that not all teas from the same type can be brewed in the same temperature. For example jasmine green tea should be brewed in 80 degrees instead of 70. And also water for Assam tea can be boiled, because we need water with 100 degrees.

3. Do you have any favorite tea color? if so, what and why?
My favourite tea color is black tea (especially Earl Gray and without Yunnan, this is gross one). It has strong intense taste and great smell. And by the way, there is a little mistake in the photo with colors you added. The last one is a black tea because of color of leaves below the cup. Pu erh can be dark as a drink, but it's still red type. If you want to experience real dark black tea, you should brew Assam tea and leave it for 30 minutes. But I warn you, it has seriously strong taste.
1. How often do you drink tea, do you like to drink it?

I drink it a couple of times a day during the autumn and winter season, but in summer and spring, I don't drink it at all. Basically I drink it only when it's cold outside, but I really like its taste.

2. Did you know any advice on how to make tea? what advice surprised you?

I knew most of them but I was surprised that water should not be boiled because of the loss of oxygen. I wasn't aware that oxygen content in the water has any significant impact on tea.

3. Do you have any favorite tea color? if so, what and why?

I like red tea the most, for me, it has the most complex flavor. I often drink black tea, but I hate green and white tea.

The problem with ecological cars emission in UK Since the adoption of the European Emission Allowance Directive in the European Parliament, all car makers have tried to submit. Since 1992, the Euro I standard has been in force, which limited the emission of carbon monoxide to the atmosphere. The Euro VI standard currently applies, which limits the series of exhaust gases. These include: hydrocarbons, nitrogen and carbon oxides, and dust.   The most significant change was brought by the Euro IV standard. For the first time it introduced the limitation of nitrogen oxides, which are responsible for the harmful compounds of smog.   What is smog?   Smog consists of sulfur oxides, nitrogen and carbon. In addition, solid substances such as suspended dust (PM). Dust suspend in atmospheric aerosols may be in liquid and solid form.
