Week 10 [25.05 - 31.05] Electric skateboard

Electric vehicles are becoming more and more popular in our lives, walking around Warsaw sometimes it is easier to hit an electric scooter than bicycle, the video below shows the reason why it is worth using this mode of transport and why it has become so popular.

Questions:
1) Have you ever used an electric means of transport?
2) Do you think electric skateboard can be just as popular in the future as scooters?
3) What are the disadvantages of electric skateboard?

Comments

1. Yes, I happened to drive a car and ride an electric scooter. Although riding a scooter is fun, I definitely prefer a traditional bike. Maybe in the future I will buy an electric skateboard to limit the use of public transport.
2. I've already passed people moving on an electric skateboards. I think that skateboarding is more difficult and they will probably not be rentable.
3. The disadvantages are definitely that they are on a battery so they are not yet suitable for covering long distances. Thus, they are less comfortable and roomy than a car. In addition, you must learn to ride them so as not to hurt yourself. However, it seems to me that I mentioned the features of these vehicles and the comfort of their use depends on the purpose of movement.

1. Yes, I happened to ride an electric bike, you can feel the wind in your hair. Unfortunately, it didn't convince me, I prefer pedaling myself. I don't want to other electric means of electric transport.

2. It all depends on the fashion, I think it's possible. In the past, it seemed to me that adults don’t ride scooters very often, only with children ... now I will believe everything.

3. There are many disadvantages: it's difficult to skateboard, it’s also difficult to use it in bad weather. You can't hear it because it is electric, so pedestrians have no idea that something is approaching quickly towards them. In addition, I am not sure about the brakes, and what will happen if at the moment the battery is discharged?
1. Yes, I used to have an electric motor scooter when I was a child. Unfortunately, it was Chinese, so it broke down pretty quickly and the best I could do was to throw it to trash. Anyway, its range was so low that I could only go around the block, because any normal trip ended up with an empty battery.

2. I don’t think so, because scooters can be ridden by anyone, without any special abilities. Skateboard requires to have a sense of balance and most people, without training would be afraid to get on a skateboard. That would also be very dangerous. Just imagine what could happen if all random people would start to use the skateboard, not knowing how to brake or how to turn. Some people say that scooters are not safe, but compared to skateboards, they are very safe.

3. Like I said before, the most important disadvantage is the necessity to keep balance. It’s very easy to fall over on a skateboard. Another disadvantage, again compared to scooters is less control, because there is no handlebar, so one can’t control the throttle and braking in a comfortable and predictable way.
1. Yes, I used electric transport. When I was little I had an electric scooter. Of course it was only a toy, but riding it was quite pleasant. When other children were getting tired, I could easily overtake them. Unfortunately, it was a very poor quality product, the range was very small and the scooter often broke down.

2. I think it depends on the price. If electric skateboards are cheap then they will become popular. However, I find it hard to believe. The very premise of skateboarding is to push yourself with your feet. I do not understand why to buy an electric skateboard.
In addition, such a board, equipped with accumulators and batteries will be damn heavy. You won't be able to do any tricks or ride a skatepark. To sum up, I don't think electric skateboards are needed.

3. I think electric skateboards have some serious drawbacks. First of all, they weigh a lot because they must have batteries. As a result, it will not be possible to ride on them in skateparks. Secondly, it is very difficult to ride on boards. It's hard for balance, stability and control. Scooters are simply easier to ride. Third, the boards are not very comfortable.
1) I have used electric scooters from time to time, but in my opinion, they are very dangerous. At about 15km/h you lose the ability to turn. Breaks were good only in Lime's scooters because it had a braking disc. I also used electric motorcycles paid per minute but they were good just at the beginning of the trend. Now their condition is bad and I either don't consider them safe anymore.

2) I think people liked the idea of renting scooters and having no need to charge it or fix its broken components at home. I can't imagine skateboards staying on every corner of a street. But I think that electric skateboards will become more popular because their prices are dropping to reasonable numbers and replacement parts are becoming more available.

3) It has the same problems as others - you shouldn't use it when the weather is bad. Also, it can happen that in the morning the weather is great, but in the evening its raining cats and dogs. What is more, you have to have a good road to use it, because it is not that comfortable when you have to ride on a bumpy road. It, of course, depends on how bumpy it is, because there are skateboards with bigger and softer wheels.

1) Have you ever used an electric means of transport?

I was driving a hybrid car. I really liked to feel that big torque. While the power and torque of the internal combustion engine increases with the amount of revolutions (up to the maximum level), in an electric engine the maximum torque is available at the start.

2) Do you think electric skateboard can be just as popular in the future as scooters?

In my opinion, such a vehicle would have to have limited speed. It seems to me that small wheels and lack of brakes can cause great danger on the road. A person riding a board is practically unprotected. There will be a similar problem as with electric scooters. A lot of people have been injured in Warsaw as a result of accidents involving electric scooters.

3) What are the disadvantages of electric skateboard?

The biggest advantage is that it is small. And the biggest disadvantage is that the vehicle is dangerous

1) Have you ever used an electric means of transport?
An electric scooter, yes. Very comfortable and efficient means of transportation.
2) Do you think electric skateboard can be just as popular in the future as scooters?
No, I do not think so. It requires a lot higher level of agility and skill, than an average person has.
3) What are the disadvantages of electric skateboard?
Needs charging, more expensive, less durable than regular one.

1) Have you ever used an electric means of transport?

Of course, from the board, through a scooter, to an electric scooter or a car. I tested and I think that if there are more charging stations - or better solar panels - these means of communication will replace those used today.

2) Do you think electric skateboard can be just as popular in the future as scooters?

There can only be will. I'm sure about that. It's easier to take her to the subway or bus. This is it.

3) What are the disadvantages of electric skateboard?

The skateboard has no drawbacks. The disadvantage is the power source. You need to find other batteries. Such that they last longer and there will be no defects.

1)
Yes, I've tried the a city shared scooter, it's alright, but I think that it shouldn't be used when it's raining outside, because it's slippery, also the suspension is quite bad on such electric scooter.

2)
It could be in cities where an electric skateboard range isn't a huge problem. Also it's really practical, because one can take it into office and charge it there.

3)
As I've wrote earlier, electic skateboard has a huge advantage of portability, you can take it anywhere and it's easy to pack. I think that a disadvantage could be that it could be dangerous when riding on it with high speeds.
Bartosz Barnat said…
1. I have used electric scooter but it wasn't the same type as all the electric scooters in big cities. I really want to try electric bike but haven't had a chance yet.

2. I think skateboards are better than scooters. It is easier to travel with and has similar range and speed. I think if someone knows how to balance on skateboard they would definitely use it over scooters.

3. Curves can be painfull
Its hard to ride it on every road (dirty or with big cracks)
Its not a good idea to ride in rain because it can ruin the base of your board.
Kgajewska said…
1. I've never used any electric means of transport, but maybe some day I'll try it.
2.Maybe be - to be honest I'm not intrested
3.It can be dangerous and expensive, needs charging.
1) Have you ever used an electric means of transport?

Yes, I have. I have used electric scooters, cars and Vespas in my life and I have to admit that they are pretty convenient when it comes to going around the city. I wouldn't use any of those for a longer distance but as a rentable transport it works very well. I would like to have an electric car to go around the city in the future. That would be cool.

2) Do you think electric skateboard can be just as popular in the future as scooters?

I don't think so. To use a skateboard you need much more skill than to ride a scooter. Not all of the people have this amount of balance to be able to ride a skateboard comfortably.

3) What are the disadvantages of electric skateboard?

The torque in electric engines is delivered instantly so acceleration is very quick. That might be an obstacle for people trying to learn how to ride an electric skateboard. The second thing is that those machines are as quiet as the regular skateboards but are much faster. That might cause many traffic accidents because of people being unaware of the incoming skateboard.
1. I have tried out the Lime scooters recently. It was quite exciting! The scooter is not very fast, although still way faster than walking. It saved me a few times from being late ;)

2. I think that skateboard needs a little skill to ride. Everybody can hop on the scooter but the skateboard is a bit harder to handle. I have never had a Longboard, only the Fishboard and it took a second to get used to it. It may be popular as a personal means of transportation but it can't be scattered around the city like Lime scooters and rented. I don't think it will surpass scooters.

3. I'm not sure how it will handle some road imperfections. I did fall once on my Fishboard due to a tiny pebble. The Longboard probably can handle a little more but as long as it uses plastic wheels it's quite inconvenient. However, a while back I was doing a little research about electric skateboards and I found some with actual tires. Skateboards that could be used on damaged pavements could change the game.
1) Have you ever used an electric means of transport?
Yes, I've used electric scooters and I found it very helpful and fun. I have also used hybrid cars.

2) Do you think electric skateboard can be just as popular in the future as scooters?
First electric skateboards need to be of good quality, affordable, and if the energy consumption is that less, then, definitely yes.

3) What are the disadvantages of electric skateboard?
Speed is enough high, and because of it some people might abuse it, and this might lead to many accidents.
1) Have you ever used an electric means of transport?
Unfortunatelly no. I have never have chance to use any.

2) Do you think electric skateboard can be just as popular in the future as scooters?
If infrastructure allows it i think many people will use it in the future.

3) What are the disadvantages of electric skateboard?
You have to have balance over your body, it is much harder to ride over different surfaces such as grass or mud or even paving, it can get out of charge during the trip.
Yes, I have used electric scooters like Lime or Bird. I think it’s awesome way to move around city. It just could be a little bit cheaper but still it is fantastic idea. I don’t know if electric skateboard can be as successful as electric scooters but for sure there will be people excited about it. The main problem about electric skateboards are skills to use skateboard. When You take a scooter You just have to grab a handle press a button and go. While to use skateboard first of all You have to be able to ride it and don’t die. I mean of course don’t fell of it on a first turn or first hole in the ground. So that is the main drawback of skateboards that You have to know how to ride it while with scooters there is no such problem.

1. I love electric transport! I've tried almost everything: scooters, bikes and skateboards. I don't know if there is anything left to test.

2. No, I think electric skateboards will not be as popular as scooters. Skateboards require greater physical coordination, which would mean a lot of accidents and people would be afraid to ride them.

3. The big disadvantage of electric skateboards is, of course, that they need to be recharged, and that they have small wheels that do not allow to run over curbs.
Olga Przytula said…

1. I did. Once I have used electric scooter, but I will deny it till the end of time. I just don’t get the idea of it. In my opinion this type of electric means of transport are for lazy people. Maybe bikes are acceptable, when you use them during mountain hikes, they can be quite useful if you are not as athletic as the rest of riders, but other than that, … I still don’t get it.

2. I don’t think so. To be able to ride an electric skateboard you have to be at least a bit familiar with skateboard or at least snowboard style of riding. You are not faced frontally, as you are on the scooter, but sideways, and that can mess with your head a bit. Plus, I think scooters are a bit more intuitive, as they resemble bikes, they are harder to fall from or fall over.

3. I have never used one, so I can only guess. But I think that main disadvantage is just senselessness of existing, if I can call it like that. It’s much more expensive than a regular skateboard, you have to charge it, and you deprive yourself from exercise, in a moment that you are so close to actually work out.
1. Have you ever used an electric means of transport?
Unfortunately, I have never used an electric means of transport. After watching this video maybe I would try.

2. Do you think electric skateboard can be just as popular in the future as scooters?
Probably yes, but it's all depends on people who be use this gadget. Some gadgets are popular and some not. We don’t know what future will bring. If people will love this mean of transport then who knows what will happened. Maybe electric skateboard will be the most popular gadget. We will see.

3. What are the disadvantages of electric skateboard?
I think that we can’t used electric skateboard on every surface. We need an even surface to travel. When the wheather is bad eg. it's raining then travel on an electric skateboard isn't comfortable. We can’t travel in every seasons.
1) Have you ever used an electric means of transport?
No, have never used an electric means of transport but I saw how others use it. They work similarly to those without electricity, just that
they require less physical effort and are a little faster, but they are much more expensive.
2) Do you think electric skateboard can be just as popular in the future as scooters?
I don’t think that electric skateboard can be just as popular in the future as scooters. Scooter is more stable and easier to use than a skateboard.
3) What are the disadvantages of electric skateboard?
In my opinion the biggest disadvantages are the price and maybe that you have to have a good road to use it

1. I haven’t, i prefer using "normal" bicycle, because it's a great way of spending your time being active.

2. I don't know, propably not. I think that a scooter is much easier to handle than a skateboard, and a lot of people are not interested in learning how to ride a skateboard.

3. For me the biggest disadvantage is that it is really hard to ride a skateboard.
1. Yes, I only used the electric scooter from various companies that are available in Warsaw, e.g. Lime or hive. This is a really great idea and allows you to save time traveling to various places in Warsaw.

2. I think electric skateboard has no future. It is not very stable. I think that this idea will be forgotten.

3. As I mentioned above, it is certainly not very stable - e.g. you do not have your hands on the steering wheel, as in the case of a scooter.

1. Have you ever used an electric means of transport?

Yes, I have used an electric motorcycle as a kid, but I did not like the noise of it. I always tried to avoid using one, but as I grew up, I became more and more addicted. Now that I live in the countryside, I rarely need to use it so I can enjoy my cars and other vehicles I do use.

2. Do you think electric skateboard can be just as popular in the future as scooters?

I think this product has the potential to take over not only retail sales but also the lifestyle for commuters. Electric scooter is an idea that doesn't really have a clear path to commercialization. I'm sure the electric scooter market has thousands of people trying to develop it.

3. What are the disadvantages of electric skateboard?

Battery life is fairly limited because of the batteries. The only problem with electric skateboard is that it is not good enough on the ground for riding outside, or if you want to get away from power outlet while riding on the ground, you need to wear a few layers. This is the main reason why I prefer two-wheelers.
Olga Bogdał said…
1) Yes, I drove a few times an electric scooter on the streets of Warsaw. It was fun, but I was quite surprised how fast it can be.
2) I'm not so sure about that. Electrics scooters are easy to ride. The are stabile and everyone who hasn't driven one before can easily learn how to do it. It takes maximum a few minutes to understand how it works. I don't think that electric skateboards would be that easy to use especially for someone who is new at this.
3) The thing a said in a previous queastion. It may be harder to assimilate.

1) Have you ever used an electric means of transport?

I usually use a tram. It's electric so we should count it. The best thing that I don't need to control there anything except for opening the doors at the right time once during the whole trip.

2) Do you think electric skateboard can be just as popular in the future as scooters?

Maybe yes, maybe now. The popularity of such things is almost unpredictable. Remember that selfie-sticks which were invented years before their popularity and now there are fewer of them then a couple of years ago. Done? Now predict something :)

3) What are the disadvantages of electric skateboard?

- It's still skateboard and it needs some "skateboard skills"
- Battery.
- Bad weather and no build-in roof/umbrella (Idea for a startup? Maybe).
- First, I thought that the problem that you can't sit there, but in fact, you can, so forget.
Thank you for answer, I totally agree about ride, scooter or even a car are more intuitive than skateboard, where you need to balance
I think at the moment when the battery discharges, the skateboard would automatically brake and turn off, as electrical scooter
Roman Dubovyi said…
1) Of course, I use trams!

2) Scooters require less skill to use, so probably people will stick to scooters.

3) As every electrical device its battery's life is not eternal. For me it would've been the biggest problem. The bigger the battery - the sooner you will notice it's decay.
1 / No, I have never tried electric standalone transport.

2 / I think that he is already quite popular now. Therefore, in the future it will simply become more relevant.

3 / There may be a question about the quality and malfunction of the battery as well as safety in a collision.
Currently, to increase the range you can somehow connect power bank, unfortunately few years ago power banks were not or were not popular
I think that such skateboards would be used in similar way to electric scooters, they would be intended as means of transport and not a product stricte for tricks
Maciej Górczak said…
1. I have used an electric bike and a scooter - much prefered the bike though.

2.Maybe someday. But they have been on the market for quite some time and I think I only saw a few in Warsaw. I don't think they will get as popular as scooters or bikes. Scooters are easier to use and you can rent them anytime you want. I can't see that happening with skateboards.

3.Just to name a few:
They are more unstable
You have to know the basics of riding on a skateboard to move around on it
Battery power
Some surfaces might be to "bumpy" and it might cause some accidents - easier to fall off
I fully agree with you, in addition at least in Warsaw sometimes you can see drunk people who at such speed cause more danger
Thank you for answer, charging scooter is very cheap, and battery in such skateboard would probably be of similar size, so I don't think price would be much higher
Thank you for answer, I have never driven hybrid car, do you think it is better type than the standard?
1) Have you ever used an electric means of transport?
2) Do you think electric skateboard can be just as popular in the future as scooters?
3) What are the disadvantages of electric skateboard?
Yeah, I used to ride an electric scooter once. I didn't really like riding an electric scooter. I don't think they're bad or dangerous. It's just that it's probably not for me. The second thing is that the government should better manage such electric scooters which do not drive as fast as a car and on the pavement pose a threat to pedestrians (who usually do not expect fast and quiet scooters.
2 Probably so, because everything that is cult and cares about sci-fi movies is rapidly becoming a global trend. I'm just wondering if they will be safe enough for users to move around on the street or sidewalk or maybe there will be a need to create a separate lane only for small mobile means of transport such as electric skateboards, scooters or bicycles.
3 Surely the safety of its users, because the driving possibilities alone are very astonishing, but in spite of all this a person would have to wear a minimum helmet and probably an outfit similar to that of a motorcycle, the question is whether it is at all realistic for the users of electric skateboards to be allowed to ride on the road. In even a slight crash with a car a person has a very small chance to survive. Another issue is stability and catching balance because I think it is very likely to trip over and fall under the wheels of a car.
Oh, I have never used electric skateboard, if you were to sort these means of transport from the best to the worst, in your opinion, what would list look like?
Klaudia Kozioł said…
1. Yes, I did use an electric scooter.
2. I don’t think so, ridding a scooter is simply easier.
3. Main disadvantage in my opinion is that you need to learn how to ride it its not like with the scooter or a bike, on a skateboard you need to use your entire body if you don’t want to fall in first 5 seconds.
Thank you for answer, if you like electric scooters, how often do you use them? Do you use them instead of driving car?
1) Have you ever used an electric means of transport?
The one thing which comes to my mind is electric scooter. It is eco friendly and faster than normal car with warsaw traffic so i can really recommend you to use it. :)

2) Do you think electric skateboard can be just as popular in the future as scooters?
I don't think so. A lot of companies invest in electric scooters right now and it probably won't change so fast. It is safer option i think but i heard about some accidents when someone hit the curb with 20km/h speed.

3) What are the disadvantages of electric skateboard?
I didn't use it but in my opinion it a little bit less safe than scooters and probably it is easier to broke.

2) Do you think electric skateboard can be just as popular in the future as scooters?
I don’t think so. It’s much harder to ride a skateboard than scooter. Or maybe that my own mind/
3) What are the disadvantages of electric skateboard?
For a beginner, it’s hard to safely start without omitting any injuries.

1) Have you ever used an electric means of transport?
Yes I have. Electric buses have been running in Lublin for years. And of course you should mention trolleybuses. The trolleybus is powered by electricity drawn from the overhead contact line and not moving on rails. It can be said that I used electric transport before it became fashionable. Actually, years before it became fashionable. And such a curiosity - Lublin has one of three active trolleybus systems in Poland next to Gdynia and Tychy.
However, I have never used such a means of transport as an electric scooter, bicycle, or car.
2) Do you think electric skateboard can be just as popular in the future as scooters?
I do not think so. Mainly because of the minuses, which I will describe in section 3.

3) What are the disadvantages of electric skateboard?
Certainly it is heavier than a regular skateboard, controlling and maintaining balance seems more difficult than in a scooter. There is also not much space for luggage.
To sum up, I see absolutely no sense in using this type of transport.

1) Have you ever used an electric means of transport?

Yes I have. I have been a passenger in electric city bus a lot of times. Besides that, I rode electric scooter and electric bike a couple of times.

2) Do you think electric skateboard can be just as popular in the future as scooters?
No, I do not think so. It seems way more complicated to ride on and less stable.

3) What are the disadvantages of electric skateboard?
As I mentioned above, they seem to be much less safer than the scooters.
1. Yes, I drove an electric car and an electric scooter. As for the car, it is a very cool solution, but one should refine the charging system or create more powerful batteries. The electric scooter is also quite fine. This is a very good option for people who live close to work.
2. Of course. I think that in the future electric skateboards can be as popular as their electric predecessors and even more. I can't ride a regular skateboard but I would like to try out an electric drive.
3. At the moment, until I have tried to ride such a skateboard I cannot assess its advantages and disadvantages. However, I think that, as in all electrical equipment, batteries can be a disadvantage.

1) Have you ever used an electric means of transport?
Yes, I, like most here, used an electric scooter. But in general, I would really like to try an electric car in some way. But that's another story. And of course I used an electric train. I do not know how relevant this topic is, but there was such a fact.

2) Do you think electric skateboard can be just as popular in the future as scooters?
I think for some communities, yes. Because both electric and classic skateboards need skill. This skill comes with experience. As a rule, someone who is really interested and has the physical ability to try to ride an electric skateboard wants to get such an experience. But if such will be in mass production, then they will become much more popular than today.

3) What are the disadvantages of electric skateboard?
Probably its main disadvantage is security. Since, as I wrote above, you need to have the skill to successfully use it and overcome distances at high speeds. Not all people can afford this. Someone may be scared of this. But in general, it seems to me that there are no special drawbacks in it, since by and large this same electric scooter is only without a steering wheel.
1. Yes, I used to have an electric motor scooter when I was a child. Unfortunately, it was Chinese, so it broke down pretty quickly and the best I could do was to throw it to trash. 1. One or twice I’ve used electric scooter and I really liked it. I think it’s convenient mean of transport and moreover ecological. I live in place where there is no electric bikes or scooters to rent so I don’t have many occasion to use them.

2. I think that electric skateboard is more difficult to use than scooter, so it won’t became as much popular. Not everyone will be able to ride it. Skateboard doesn’t have a handlebar so you have nothing to catch and it’s easier to fall, so it’s not good for children or people with balance problems.

3. As I mentioned before on the skateboard you have to keep balance so ride is more difficult. I also think that it’s harder to turn or stop quickly. It requires more effort and it’s easier to fall than for example when you use electric scooter, so probably more people would choose scooter.

1) Have you ever used an electric means of transport?

Probably as most of us, I have tried renting and riding one of these electric scooters that are very popular in Warsaw. I like doing that with my friends and riding around the streets in the city center when it’s warm outside.

2) Do you think electric skateboard can be just as popular in the future as scooters?

I think they are getting more and more popular, just not in our country yet. On the other hand, one of my friends has an electric skateboard and he seems satisfied. Instead of pushing using his leg, he just moves the switch on a pilot to either increase or decrease the speed of the skateboard.

3) What are the disadvantages of electric skateboard?

I think that main disadvantage is still capacity of the battery. You need to remember to charge it otherwise it can die in the middle of the road and these are quite heavy with the batteries. Battery’s capacity need to increase or overall battery’s effectiveness, maybe introducing new kind of batteries that are replaceable is a good idea as well.
1) Have you ever used an electric means of transport?
When the weather is good I like to use electric scooter, it is very funny and also is a good way not to stay in traffic jams. Also, I have tried hoverboard, we used to make races in the office after working hours :)
2) Do you think electric skateboard can be just as popular in the future as scooters?
I think it has a chance to be as popular as scooters as it takes less space and is more transportable.
3) What are the disadvantages of electric skateboard?
First of all, it is a problem with balance. In unexpected situations, there would be difficult to deal with it without injures for beginners which is a problem for sharing companies.
1) Have you ever used an electric means of transport?

Yes, I have my own eScooter and I really like to use only any way of sharing vehicles on city streets as well as electric cars which acceleration are mindblowing.

2) Do you think electric skateboard can be just as popular in the future as scooters?

Maybe not that match but deffinitly. I think that eScooters are more convinient to use by any type of people, on skateboard you have to balance and it can be problematic

3) What are the disadvantages of electric skateboard?

It needs probably better infrastracutre and we have to have a little bit of experience to not collapse out of it

1) Have you ever used an electric means of transport?
No, I haven't, but I'm sure I will be able to try it in the future, as electric mean of transport becomes very popular.

2) Do you think electric skateboard can be just as popular in the future as scooters?
It's less comfortable and more difficult to use, so I don't think they will be comparable in popularity.

3) What are the disadvantages of electric skateboard?
For sure you can't ride it from the start, you have to put some time to learn it. Also, the steering isn't very responsive, so you can't make any sharp turns.
1) Have you ever used an electric means of transport?
It depends on what you exactly mean with "use". Most of trains or probably all trains in Poland are electric, so if it also counts, I can say I used it. But if you mean if I have driven or steered one then I haven't.

2) Do you think electric skateboard can be just as popular in the future as scooters?
Yes, I do but I think it will be popular for short time.

3) What are the disadvantages of electric skateboard?
Well, the most important thing is that not everybody can use common skateboard because of balance control and not enough experience.
