Week 5 [12.11-17.11.19] What are you dreaming of?

What are you dreaming of?
Dream - something that you want to happen although it is not very likely

Have you ever asked yourself about “what are you dreaming of”? I bet you do. I think for all of us dreams are in some way a goal. Goals can be big and small. I truly believe that dreams comes true, of course if you are dreaming of something. But is it enough only to dream? The answer is no, and you know it. Nothing happens if we don't do anything.

For example, in the childhood, you heard a story about such magnificent mountains, so you have started reading more about it and dreaming day after day of the day when you’ll be standing right at the summit of the mountain. You’ve grown up, and you’ve been on most of them, you’re staying on next one. What are you dreaming of now? What was more important, mountain peak or the path you walked to be there?

king of the mountain

Here is another one. Child dreams of to be great sportsmen and since childhood he devotes his whole life to the training's, spends endless hours in gym. He has fails and wins. Years passed and now - he has victories and medals. His goal, dream achieved, right? What is he dreaming of now while standing at medal ceremony? What was more important medals, honor or the path he’s been through?

I have one more. Let’s remember poem “Dead souls” – Gogol. The character Chichikov was dreaming of to be rich. He didn’t care how he’ll achieve it. On the road to the dream he was becoming immoral and mean man. So in a life. Dream isn't always lead us on the right way. Sometimes in the race of get our goal we lose ourselves, walk over others head, lie, betray and lose humanity. In the end, if after this we ask what was more important between goal/dream or path? This is where we see the differences.

Asking this question is very important. Sometimes it means emptiness and trying to figure out what’s next. Sometimes it helps to stop, take a deep breath and have a good image what you’ve done already, analyze, be proud, or kick your ass to start doing something really that you want, dreamed of always. Sometimes it could prevent you from transforming to “monster” due race to your dream.

“The journey is what brings us happiness not the destination.” ― Dan Millman, Way of the Peaceful Warrior. Keep in mind this and you’ll be happy.

The only one last line. Don't get lost. Push yourself, don't afraid of changes that "dreams" can bring to you.
Here is one good fun song, enjoy.

Thank you for your time

1) What are you dreaming of?
The most frightening horrors haunt me in my dreams. It is like these as far as I remember. I don't like dreaming and going to sleep. Nice dreams in my case are very rare.

2) Do your dreams somehow help you in your life?
They made me many traumas and problems in my childhood. Right now I don't pay much attention to them. I try to sleep a lot, be well rested and not worry about everything. There is nothing more I can do.

3) Are you able walk over somebody do get your dream happen?
I don't know, I hope I won't be in the situation where I will consider walking over somebody to succeed. Pangs of conscience probably would eat me from inside.

1. I have many dreams, but my greatest is space flight. I know this is an ambitious dream and practically unachievable when you look at the history of Polish astronautics. However, I hope that someday I will make this dream come true.

2. Yes, I believe that dreams help us to survive daily life. In the moments when I'm stressed, I try to calm down, I think about my dreams - I become motivated and confident. I belive that the pursuit of dreams makes people better and more interesting.

3. I think I couldn't do that. I'm compassionate, so probably I would feel guilty about it. I couldn't fully enjoy making my dream come true.

1) What are you dreaming of?
My dreams are quite remarkable and unusual. Sometimes I dream about fantasy world, books I have read, games I have played or fears that I have in particular moment in time. Recently I was dreaming about my life in postapocalyptic world where I was searching for food with my brother.

2) Sometimes I dream about my problems and try to solve them or simply I see similar situation to mine in the dream and see the clues that I should follow. Yes I think dreams sometimes are giving me solution to some problems.

3) Not really. I cheer everyone no matter if we are in the same or the opposite team. I don't want to achieve my dream leaving bodies behind.
1) What are you dreaming of?
I dreamed that I was swimming in the ocean with my friends. Suddenly a new plane came over to us. It was very quiet and hydrogen-powered. I remember he had a beautiful red color and his wings fanned like a real bird. It could fly very low over buildings and water. It flight to me when I was swimming in the ocean and the wind from the engine caused the water to melt me. At that moment my boyfriend woke me up because I was holding my breath and blowing it out loudly. He thought I was suffocating. He looked terrified.

2) Do your dreams somehow help you in your life?
I don't think so. Dreams are just what we are afraid of. Dreams are also things we have been thinking a lot about lately. I don't think they have much in common with our future. I just think they have no influence on what will happen.

3) Are you able walk over somebody do get your dream happen?
I don't think that would be good. I don't think that's possible. Everyone has their own lives and dreams. It is better to take care of your dreams and not try it.
1) What are you dreaming of?
I have plenty of dreams usually they are about my friends and some very strange situations.

2) Do your dreams somehow help you in your life?
Yes they give me some awareness as sometimes I treat them as a lesson.

3) Are you able walk over somebody do get your dream happen?
Yes I am able to do it but i rather not.

Oh, bad to hear this. I think you have to do something. Because it mean's you don't relax enough and continue stressing at night. I hope you'll handle it.
I agree with you, i can't even think about how i'll be living if i do walk over somebody.
Thank you for sharing, have a nice day.
Wow, amazing. This is a great dream! What are you doing or planning to do to make this dream come true ?
I totally agree with you, I think in the same way.
Yeah, that's true, even if we would do something like this, we couldn't enjoy our dream(
Have a nice day.
Have you seen sword art online? I was dreaming about something like this while ago, it was really nice, i wanted to be this true in nowadays, ech(
It's good to hear it, that you are good person and won't let down or betray someone's dreams too.
Have a nice day
Sorry, but this wasn't about "night dreams".
"Dream of sth" - to think about something that you want very much.
But wow, quite detailed dream. You know, i know few girls who remembers so much about their night dreams, it is amazing. I don't remember at all my dreams. And sometimes I regret.

1. What are you dreaming of?
My latest dream was two days ago, my tongue was penetrated by around one thousand nails, it was painful but I didn't wake up...I woke up when someone was going to cut my tongue...I had such dream maybe because I had watched violent movie that day, the best dream were when I could fly in the sky, and when I exactly knew I was in the dream so I could kinda control my dream, I don't know how this happened.

2. Do your dreams somehow help you in your life?
Once I dreamed about my cat was falling down from balcony, and then I told this to my family, the second day, we found our cat disappear, because it was my first time to have such dream, so I was guessing maybe my dream came true unfortunately, and finally we found it fell down outside the building from our balcony on 7 floor, but that was good that it fell down to the tree first, then the grass, later we took it to pet hospital, then it survived.

3) Are you able walk over somebody do get your dream happen?
I think I won't do so, since this is about morality, I would better get my dreams happened by myself if possible, if no, then let it be.

1. I'm dreaming of normal things like family, interesting jobs in my life. Additionaly, I would like to travel a lot - see many places, e.g. New Zealand, some of the National Parks in the USA or South Africa.

2. Yes, I think having dreams or even very ambitious goals helps us a lot. It can be a propeller in our everyday life, it can motivate us to work, learn and try to get better for a certain purpose.

3. It's a very hard question. I believe I'm not, but I don't know what I would do if my happiness will depend on someone else's harm. I'm not sure if i will be strong enough to devote something I dream of to stick to my moral beliefs.
What am I dreaming of? That a tricky question. I think that I dream of becoming successful in my life. It means having well-paid and satisfying job, happy family, big house and cool cars. In general, to earn enough money to stop working at some point and travel, party and do anything I want. I would say that having this dream has huge impact on my life. Everything I do, all of my life choices and big decisions like selection of university or workplace they bring me one step closer to achieving my dream. Your third question is not an easy one. I am very sociable, outgoing and I just like people in general. So, harming them would be hard for me because I am happier when people around me are happy but If my life happiness would require harming someone, I think I would be able to do that. Of course, it also depends on scale of this harm. But still I am not sure about this answer because we don’t actually know how we will behave until we face the situation.

1. I dream of most likely the same thing as many of us. Just being happy in the future. It doesn't matter whther you achieve it through career success or by droping everything and go to bieszczady.

2. No, not really. It is just by occasion to me. I usually do not put much thought into them and I do not think that I will in the future.

3. No, I guess I wouldn't be able to do it.
1. I have always dreamed of moving to sunny California and find a nice job there. And in my free time, travel and explore thoroughly all US states. I have to do it! I HAVE TO!

2. Yes, my dreams just push me forward through life. Thanks to them I know what I would like to do. And I strive for this goal, step by step.

3. I think not. I would like to reach my goals and dreams myself, without anyone's help.

1) What are you dreaming of?
I thought I was dreaming of many things, but I also think that dreams are quite possible to fulfill, which is contrary to the definition of a dream.
In the future I would like to have enough money to travel around the world, I would also like to find my other half and just be happy.

2) Do your dreams somehow help you in your life?
My dreams allow me to persist in my decisions and to pursue my goals with full passion. Thanks to them I am full of motivation and they improve my mood in the worst days.

3) Are you able walk over somebody do get your dream happen?
No, I don't think there's anything you can do about living at the cost of someone. The other person should always be the most important. It is also worth not to forget that what we give is what we receive, just karma.

1. I dream of visiting many interesting places on our planet. I dream of making my parents' lives carefree and joyful. I dream to jump with a parachute and much more...

2. Help not to lose heart and feel alive.

3. I don't think so. Everything you do in life comes back to you.

1. I dream of getting a tattoo, participating in the Saint George competition, see Amsterdam, Barcelona and several other places.
2. Yes, they do. They are motivation to train, to work, to have memories to change something in yourself or your life.
3. In my sport we need friends, we need help and support. The society is too small and people will now if we do bad things. It’s better if we will treat each other as friend from one stable.

1. When I was a child I used to dream of being racing driver. I loved to play with my matchboxes and liked to watch racing. Now my dreams change a little. I dream of having a new motor or travelling to undiscovered places and running my own softhaus. I think that my current dreams are earthbound and I'm able to achive it due to motivation and self-abnegation.

2. Yes. Issomething in my life fall through I will think about my dreams. It always helps me to stay positive and motivated. Thanks to dreams I can control my feelings and overcome a failure. In addition they propel me to reaching my goals.

3. I think that I won't be capable of it, because I'm empathetic person. Moreover I believe that we should work hard to achive our goals instead of walk over somebody. If I trample over people to achive my aim, I won't be able to live with myself for the test of my life.

1) What are you dreaming of?
I already fulfilled most of my dreams, right now I try to focus on appreciating them as it took me a lot of effort to get them and actively working to preserve this status. Additionally I'd like to travel more and visit some interesting places.

2) Do your dreams somehow help you in your life?
Yes, they are one of the sources for my motivation in life.

3) Are you able walk over somebody do get your dream happen?
My dreams are not really depended on other people. But if they were i wouldn't be able to make someone else miserable on purpose in order for me to get what i want. I wouldn't be able to appreciate my achievement.
1) What are you dreaming of?
I dream about the future, I imagine it and create plans on this basis. Every now and then various tangible and intangible elements appear in these dreams. Some stay permanently.
2) Do your dreams somehow help you in your life?
Definitely yes. The dream allows me to sketch and give an outline of how I would like my future and surroundings to look like. Thanks to this, I know what to do and why. Dreams allow me to set a clear but abstract goal that can come true. Someone wise once said that dreams allow you to travel into the future and memories into the past.
3) Are you able walk over somebody do get your dream happen?
It's hard to say because my dreams don't require such steps. Hypothetically, it would matter a lot about who it was and how bad it would be for that person. Sometimes you can walk over someone and then reward him with more than that.
1. I dream of travel to National Parks in the USA too. Nice dreams, thanks for sharing.
2. I totally agree with you. Nice phrase "propeller in our everyday life", i like this definition.
3. Fair enough answer, I appreciate your honesty.
Have a nice day.
Thank you for answer, all this also links with mine vision of dreams. Honesty and good defined reasons, you are right about "we don’t actually know how we will behave until we face the situation.". This applies to absolutely everything.
Thank you for reading, have a nice day.
I see, well, this definitely. Being happy , this is one thing what we are all dream of, but this "happy" for everyone is different. Thank you for sharing, have a nice day.
Man, i have to do this too!! I can't stop dream of explore thoroughly all US states too! Happy to hear this)
I wish you luck. Thank you for reading, have a nice day!
I hope you'll fulfill your dreams when you you'll have enough money for this and wan't betray yourself. This is very cool. keep dream of, you'll get what you want, i'm sure!
Thank you for reading, have a nice day!
What places do you want to visit?) I'm afraid of "parachute" thing, but dream of this too. I'll overcome this fear for sure, xex)
Nice one "Everything you do in life comes back to you" i think the same.
Thank you for reading, have a nice day
Have you decided about what tattoo do you want?) I was in Amsterdam, awesome city, hurry up until the city is not flooded, XD)
I agree with your statements, glad to read them.
Thanks for reading, have a nice day!
Well, i believe we all have changes of our dreams due we grow up, good luck with fulfilling yours!
I see, for me dreams propel me to reaching my goals too, so i would say don't stop dream of.
I think you'll get what you want with this mindset, glad to hear this.
Thank you for reading, have a nice day.
Wow, this is amazing that you fulfilled most of your dreams. If you'd like then just do this, i think you are capable to do this. Yeah, price that we pay for our dreams is equally important as fulfilling itself, glad to hear this.
Thank you for reading, have a nice day.
I've never heard this phrase "dreams allow you to travel into the future and memories into the past.", thank you, it made me think for a while and a few good thoughts are came up.
Hah, I've never thought about that after walk over someone it's possible reward him. Would it be like paying dept to him?)
Thanks for sharing and reading, have a nice day!
1) What are you dreaming of?
I dream about being happy. Certainly, I would like to spend my life alongside the person I love, I would also like to completely change my lifestyle. Go crazy However, I still don't have enough courage to do it. I'm afraid of what will happen if I fail.

2) Do your dreams somehow help you in your life?
In a way they help. Thanks to them I have a goal that I aspire to. Which motivates me not to stand still and act.

3) Are you able walk over somebody do get your dream happen?
I am able to support a person in their dreams even if they seem unreal at first glance. In fact, in fulfilling our dreams, we're the only limit and time.

All in all I have no idea what I'm dreaming about, I usually don't remember my dreams.
My dreams are very specific; I dreamed of the future a few times, but I thought it was a normal dream until this situation from a dream turned out to be a reality long after sleep.
My dreams help my head rest, I don't know other positive uses of my dreams xD
I am not sure if I understand Question # 3 correctly, but I could not achieve my dreams at the expense of another person if I knew I was hurting someone. Here a good question arises: Is the development of the world not accidentally harmful to someone / something? The environment probably is not entirely satisfied with our "development".
1) What are you dreaming of?
I very rarely remember my dreams but when I do they are the mose plain and simple as You can imagine, I remember one in which i was just driving a car, it was rather boring and nothing happend back then, just a simple situation as every single dream that i remember.

2) Do your dreams somehow help you in your life?
To be honest i dont care about my dreams at all, as i just said, i dont even remember most of my dreams and these that i remember are boring and they doesnt mean anything (or maybe they do but i do not know that :P)

3) Are you able walk over somebody do get your dream happen?
I dont know i've never tried. Maybe in a future
In my opinions dreams are things that are not achievable. Dreaming about being rich is nothing compared to being a super hero with ability to fly or pick up tons with one hand. Dreams have no impact on my life, I accept reality around me. I can't really tell if I would do something to someone else to get super strength, got to wait until it actually happens ^^.
1. If we're talking about physical dreams while I'm asleep, usually nothing or i just don't remember. If were talking about my goals, I would like to have my own music band and have a successful recording of at least one of our album. It doesn't have to be on a world scale, but it's a dream to pursuit.

2. Yes, dreams make us determinated, and motivate us to work. Like you mentioned in the article: you won't achieve your dreams by just sitting on a couch.

3. No, I don't want to hurt anyone by achieving my dreams.
Ivan Mazuryk said…
1. Usually, I'm dreaming of something currently I don't have.

2. Only if your dreams turn on into your goals. Goals are reachable, unlike a dream. For example, if I dream to be a spiderman, how it can help me?

3. The end justifies the means. I disagree with that.
1) What are you dreaming of?
Your question reminds me of a song called ‘hall of fame’ by The Script, it says ‘Standing in the hall of fame
And the world's gonna know your name
'Cause you burn with the brightest flame
And the world's gonna know your name
And you'll be on the walls of the hall of fame’
I think it perfectly sums up my answer.

2) Do your dreams somehow help you in your life?
Yes, thanks to them I know what to do in my life and what I can do to accomplish my goals

3) Are you able walk over somebody do get your dream happen?
Yes, because I would like to reach my life goal and I think I would be capable of doing that.
1) What are you dreaming of?
My big dream is to buy a car, take it apart and rebuild from 0 to hero. To know everything about it, whats inside and replace everything to be brand new.

2) Do your dreams somehow help you in your life?
yes. I started process of making my dream above. With my friend we are buying junk cars and work o them and learn how not to screw it.

3) Are you able walk over somebody do get your dream happen?
Probably not. Im not that type of a person to achive something over somebody else.
The fear are our greatest enemy. I wish you'll find a way to be happy. Awesome, keep dream of and be on your way! Yep, support each other is a powerful thing, nice thinking.
Thank you for reading, have a nice day.
1. Eveyrtime different dream. From horror to some kind of action movie where I play main character
2. Not really. I've never have a dream which help me with something or give me answer for my questions
3. So far I didn't have to do it and I won't have to. But if it would depends on my future or on someone I love - then probably yes.
Hey, Huber, nice question. My answer is yes, definitely harmful, from this we can conclude that nothing happens without side effects to others.
Thank you for your question, have a nice day!
Heh, interesting thoughts. I don't know is it good that dreams have no impact on your life but i think you know what are you talking about)
Thank you for sharing, have a nice day.
Wojciech, I wish you all the success, i had this dream in childhood, but i gave up on this, but i hope you'll make a dream come true. Glad to hear you are on the good side)
Thank you for reading, have a nice day.
Common human dreams, nice)) I think we all dream of this) Yep, good one, won't help you, dreams have to turn into goals to be helpful or at least "reachable".
Thank you for reading, have a nice day.

2. Of course they do. Dreams brought me to the current status, job and my achievements. I always wanted to work as an IT specialist and I nailed it! In my opinion dreams are really helpful in life, they let you stay motivated and focused on your tasks all the time.

3. Absolutely no. I would never walk over somebody do get my dream come true. I am sure I wouldn’t be self-satisfied if I did such thing.

1) What are you dreaming of?
I prefer not to talk about my dreams. It seems to me that dreams can be goals in life, but it’s not customary to talk about goals:)
2) Do your dreams somehow help you in your life?
As I mentioned above, some of our dreams are our goals. Therefore, my dreams help me a lot in life, I dream of something, then I think about how to realize it. And now, the dream becomes a reality.
Of course, this does not apply to dreams like "I want to see a unicorn" (to be honest, this is my small dream:)
3) Are you able walk over somebody do get your dream happen?
No!
Thank you very much Bartosz for the song, I've forgot about it at all. I remembered some good moments when I've heard it. Really appreciate it.
So you are strong in this world, hope you will never regret about your decisions.
Good luck!
Have a nice day.
Impressive dream, i want to buy a car, but never thought about full custom modification of it. Hope you'll make your dream come true.
Wow, you on the half of the road, keep doing what are you doing and you'll get what you want!
Thank you for reading, have a nice day!
1)What are you dreaming of?
My desire and greatest dream is to travel with my parents to different counties and visit all the attractions in our Planet. I think it would be the best dream and time that I would ever spend.
2) Do your dreams somehow help you in your life?
Definitely, my dreams motivates me everytime when I feel myself underpressure or depressed. From my point of view everybody should literally "fight" for their dreams not only dream.
3) Are you able walk over somebody do get your dream happen?
No way. I am willing to have only "pure" income and without radical methods. I respect people as I do for myself, even if some person have toxic behaviour. That's what I was taught.
Being an IT specialist makes your dream more realistic! Very easy do work remotely and travel in the same time. You are on the right way, wish you luck with it. Thank you for sharing, have a nice day!

Dream of a successful job, a good family, traveling, to provide my parents with a decent old age. Dreams are actually many, one cannot be separated.
2) Do your dreams help you in your life?
There is a theory that thoughts materialize: if something really wants it will happen. I have seen this many times in my life - so I can say yes, they help. In any case, they define my life goals, which gives meaning to life
3) Are you able to walk over someone to get your dream happen?
I'm too well-mannered to allow it
1. I dream of happy home with big family, satisfactory job and peaceful live. I think it's simple dream but lovely.

2. Yes, specially when I have to go to work and get experience to develope me skills which helps me with my career and that provide me to salary which allows me to gain this dream

3. Of course no! Other people also have dreams and I cannot put my values over someones. In my opinion we should look for the way where we don't ger our success over someones setback

Week 12 (12.01-18.01.15) Are you an early bird or a night owl ?

Owls are nocturnal creatures. They’re wide awake at night and they sleep during the day. If this sounds like bliss to you, then, like about 20 percent of the population who find themselves most active at around 9 pm, you may fall into the same category as our feathered friend. Night owls often have difficulty waking up in the morning, and like to be up late at night.  Studies of animal behaviour indicate that being a night owl may actually be built into some people’s genes. This would explain why those late-to-bed, late-to-rise people find it so difficult to change their behaviour. The trouble for night owls is that they just have to be at places such as work and school far too early. This is when the alarm clock becomes the night owl’s most important survival tool. Experts say that one way for a night owl to beat their dependence on their alarm clocks is to sleep with the curtains open. The Theory is that if they do so, the morning sunlight will awaken them gently and natura...

Week 11 [03-09.06.2019] The problem with ecological cars emission in UK

The problem with ecological cars emission in UK Since the adoption of the European Emission Allowance Directive in the European Parliament, all car makers have tried to submit. Since 1992, the Euro I standard has been in force, which limited the emission of carbon monoxide to the atmosphere. The Euro VI standard currently applies, which limits the series of exhaust gases. These include: hydrocarbons, nitrogen and carbon oxides, and dust.   The most significant change was brought by the Euro IV standard. For the first time it introduced the limitation of nitrogen oxides, which are responsible for the harmful compounds of smog.   What is smog?   Smog consists of sulfur oxides, nitrogen and carbon. In addition, solid substances such as suspended dust (PM). Dust suspend in atmospheric aerosols may be in liquid and solid form.
