Yes, if it allows me to grow and progress, otherwise it won't keep me satisfied for a long time. I think that everybody understands that if you want to make a change in your life you should try to go beyond the bounds of your comfort zone which also means risk to lose stability. Would you live your life knowing that because of fear of losing stability you possibly lost the biggest opportunity in your life? I don't think so. So if you have an opportunity to change career for something that would satisfy you then I think it is worth a try.
If your chosen niche is well paid but it isn't what you like to do for life then you might consider other options. Although, I think the answer to this question will depend on the type of person and her or his attitude. I personally think that it's possible to find a decent job that could be both interesting for you and well-paid.
For sure, I’m a person that prefers stability but I also allow some craziness and spontaneity in my life. I’m not too scared to loose chances in life and when I have opportunity and I see that it’s good for me, I often try it. Every man needs a certain kind of stability. It is easier to live with, for example, financial stability. Of course, if someone does not develop their skills eventually, this stability becomes very fragile. Likewise, with the assumption of your own business, you need to be aware that at the beginning there will be no income stability. I think that you have to be financially prepared for such a situation.

Of course, all people prefer stability. But my stability is the daily search for new solutions and unique approaches to work. Of course, I need a stable growth, and for this, I need to choose a niche.

But I don't agree with you about not being rich until I own a business. Actually, there are quite a few people who do not own any business and are still rich. Maybe not "Bill Gates" kind of rich, but still. A lot depends also on your definition of rich. Do you need multi-million worth of assets? Or just enough to live a comfortable life until you die? Because this second definition doesn't really require neither owning a business nor earning hundreds of thousands per month. Often it's more about being frugal and saving and investing your earnings. And this is the kind of stability I'm really looking forward to.
Having your own business is actually pretty tough commitment. I often hear it requires much more than 40 hours per day of work. You think about your business every day, 7 days per week, all the time. If it's in trouble, you worry. If it's successful, you're happy. But you need to be passionate about it. Or it will be a very short living business. That's why you shouldn't pick your niche based on the income. Because if you pick something you don't really like doing, you will get tired with the problems pretty quickly and you will not have the energy required to keep it running.

Niches are a great "tools" for businesses, even if u dont plan on staying within a specified niche you can always make use of one to start off. Find a niche, start your businesses with it in mind then with steady grow and good planning u can expand and even abandon it once you have resources and recognition. While no doubt its hard to run a business its easier if u have great/good starting point planned, and niches are great starting points.
I think stability is a good state for a part of life. You feel good, don't have to worry about your future, but as the times go, it can become monotonous and boring. For the start, I prefer stability. But you never get rich or achieve your highest goals without taking a risk. Opening your own business will lead you to wealth but only if you are ready to face high risk.

I like to have stable job, girlfriend. I'm enjoying quiet life. I like just to go to work, earn money, come back home to beloved one, cook together, eat together, then care about our animals. After that we often watch some movies or play games together. We're even studying at the same time. I don't like to go to parties, I don't like to risk my health, money etc. We prefer to stay at home and care for ourselves, away from this Warsaw noise, away from people who are hard to understand. We have a pack of friend. 5 people in it. We're seeing each other like every 2-3 weeks for .... 10 years now? I don't need anyone else. And it's not like we're not going for concerts or other events. We do, but we're quiet here, we just enjoy our hobbies.

I'm a person who is not afraid of challenges. I appreciate stability, but also it makes me tired after some time. That's why I like to take up new goals every couple of month which extends my borders.
You should focus on things you like if you think in the long term. It's better to do what you want and get less money rather than be depressed and sleep on it. That's my point of view, but I'm in a lucky position right now – my passion is a well-paid job. Nobody knows, maybe this will change in the future.
I tend more to the fact that I am not particularly attracted to stability. Every business is good only in some it is bigger competition and in others less competition. Sometimes there is also a state monopoly that prevents private companies from doing business.
