I love driving. Cars are one of my biggest passions. I love their design as well. The heart of the car is the engine, and in my opinion it is unusual how they are constructed. In all engines the operating principle is the same and yet they are all built differently. The most refined sports engines, one of the most commonly used engines, is the one created by Toyota called 2JZ. The following video shows the construction of this unit for motorsport.
1. Have you ever heard of this engine? Do you know other engines?
2. What do you think about internal combustion engines?
3. What is your dream car?
Comments
I haven't heard this engine but I know an engine called Unreal, which let's you develop games.
2. What do you think about internal combustion engines?
The internal combustion engine is ecologically damaging, expensive to build and maintain, a major failure point and apart from the sound less fun to drive, so for me it's not good.
3. What is your dream car?
Ferrari FF.
I think that they were great in the past but in todays moto market there is far less place for them.
It's hard to tell, I would say Volvo s60, Audi Q8 or new Toyota Supra
Old good inline six, I don't know that much but it seems to be a frequent choice for swaps. I know Mercedes OM602 engine, a 5-cylinder diesel engine that was mounted in my old w210 benz.
2. Internal combustion engines are not as bad for the environment as people think at least no more than the batteries used in electric cars. It is worth mentioning that the current engines are very refined. It is likely that subsequent artificial emission standards will mean that there will be no point in producing them.
3. Today i dream about new a6 and w140
2. Internal combustion engines are displaced by electric motors, which are much more effective, longer-lasting, simpler. However, we must not forget how the electricity that powers them arises, and that the production of electric batteries is very unecological, catastrophic for the environment.
3. I really like all the latest Mercedes-Benz cars, especially the new G-wagon. My dream car is the Mercedes-Benz G500.
I believe that they are still good and can still be adapted to today's world only by misunderstanding people, corporations do not do this to lick themselves to customers who do not know what they want.
Every car in a different category. :D I fell in love with the new supra.

I agree with your statement on engine ecology. I think some standards should be, but they're wrong, for example, an engine with more capacity without turbo thinks it would be more environmentally friendly than these powerful engines the size of a carton of milk.
You mean, rotary ones, hybrid or electric? Sure, I have heard of them.
2. What do you think about internal combustion engines?
Obsolete and inevitably going to die. Mainly because petrol and oil -- the very thing they use, is not a renewable resource, so at some point internal combustion engines will simply become useless. With no means of ever powering them.
3. What is your dream car?
A flying one, probably big enough to fin an observatory into it.
2. Internal combustion engines are very important in transport. Personally, I think that they are an inseparable part of the automotive industry. Unfortunately, environmentalists and restrictive emissions standards are killing current engines.
3. My dream car is of course the BMW e60 M5 with a 5-liter V10 engine. Personally, I am not a fan of low-volume engines.
Of course I have heard about 2JZ and I know that this one of the most reliable and high-performance tweaks-resistant engine ever built. Apart from that I know that Nissan also built very strong engines, for example SR20DET or RB25DET which were present in Skylines.
2. What do you think about internal combustion engines?
Given that we are entering hybrid and electric era I would say that internal combustion engine is going to be an extinct species. I know that manufacturers have to create engines which need to meet the overall regulations but having a naturally aspirated V8 or V12 engine is something best that can happen to you.
3. What is your dream car?
A classic Italian, I think.
2) I think they were a technological revolution in their time, but now it seems time for them to go away is nearing. Slowly, but certainly. For the next decade, though, I believe they are in no danger whatsoever.
3) Not one in particular, but if I were to choose one, it would probably be something like Tesla or any other electric car, assuming it has some cool modern technologies under the hood.
2. They make cooler brumbrum than electric ones.
3. M2.
Yes, I have heard of this engine. Of course, I know many other engines. I know engines like M60 produced by BMW, RB26DETT made by Nissan.
2. What do you think about internal combustion engines?
Combustion engines are currently the most used in the automotive market. However, this trend is slowly changing. In a dozen or so years, the most popular will be electric motors that will get combustion engines out of the market for good.
3. What is your dream car?
I love luxury cars. Recently, BMW cars are very popular. Recently, the BMW 8 Series car has fallen into my eye. What a sporty cart.
2. As I said before, I don't know much about the subject, however, as I can guess from the other comments it is not environmentally friendly and it is going to be pushed by ecological engines, such as electric ones. If that's the point, I'm also in a team electric, however, as many pointed out, the percentage of the world energy from the renewable sources must change so it could be indeed ecological.
3. I like driving, but I don't care about owning a car. If I need to transport something I can just rent a car and don't worry about the rest. However, I can appreciate those vehicles. From the design point of view, I like the Chrysler 300c. It is both elegant and fearsome. But from the practical point of view, it would be hard to find such a big space to park in the city, besides I don't need a car this big. On the other hand, Smarts or Pandas are not really my style so I'm going to stick with my bicycle :)
I've never heard of. I like cars but not that much interest
2. What do you think about internal combustion engines?
In internal combustion engines, fuel enters the system unburned, it is burned in the engine, its chemical energy is converted into mechanical energy and its waste is removed from the system. The engine commonly used in cars is of this type. In its simplest and primitive form, the gasoline is transported from the fuel tank into the combustion chamber, the piston compresses the air in the combustion chamber, the compressed air and fuel mixture fires, and the power piston it generates moves the shaft and the spindle connected to the engine.
3. What is your dream car?
I bought the car of my dreams and wish you a lot of luck.:D
Yes, I heard about it. This actually the legend and the perfect svap stuff.
2. What do you think about internal combustion engines?
I think it will be alive for a long time, until the oil will end.
3. What is your dream car?
Range Rover with 5 litters petrol engine. Of course this is not the JZ, but still cool.
