Week 9 [18.05 - 24.05] How do you think, can u draw?

Many people have passions, hobbies and different interests. Most often, our hobby becomes something interesting, although many times people change their passion, because their previous passion turned out to be too difficult or simply boring. Similarly with drawing; many of us think that this is a difficult process or simply claim that they cannot draw.

Watch the video above and answer the questions below:
  • Do you think you can draw?
  • Do you think that drawing skills are just drawing or maybe creating creative harmony on a piece of paper or a computer screen?
  • Have you ever managed to draw something that you would like to show off? If so, describe your work.

I can do it, but not very well. I've attended a drawing course for a year and it helped me learn a lot of the techniques, but I don't do that very often now because I don't have that much free time.

2.
That is a very philosophical question. I think that every art form is about harnessing the creative harmony, but without real skills and technique backing it up, the outcome won't be any good, so it's a mixture of those two.

3.
Nope, my drawing sucks.

1. I certainly can't draw and I don't enjoy it. I can try to draw after someone but always my greatest ally was carbon paper, I have no idea how I got positive grades on art.

2. For me, computer graphics and drawing are something different. Of course you can combine both of these skills. I don't like to draw and I never enjoyed it, while playing with computer graphics is my hobby. Sometimes I wish I could combine them both.

3. Yea, once I was able to draw a charcoal work on art, it was still life. I believe that this is the only picture that was really well done, unfortunately the teacher wasn’t so glad.

1. I don't really think that I can draw as an artist. I know some basic techniques to draw something but its nothing compare to normal artists. I don't have that spark and creativity when it comes to art

2. It's an art to make human eye interested and make people feel what you felt when you were making your masterpiece. I think that drawing/painting/and others is insanely powerful tool to express ourselves but it's not for everyone.

3. Not really. I can show off with my gaming skills or snowboarding but I don't have any art to show to anybody. I'm not satisfied with any of it yet. Maybe in the future it will change, I recently started calligraphy and I must say that it is really entertaining.

Do you think you can draw?
Yes, I like drawing. I can do it for my own or I can use a Drawing application, where I can draw more difficult pictures step by step (for example, famous sightseeings). Maybe I am not perfect in it, but I like the pictures I have drawn.

Do you think that drawing skills are just drawing or maybe creating creative harmony on a piece of paper or a computer screen?
Drawing is a skill, that can bring you joy and satisfaction during the process. For me drawing is an antistress hobby, which helps me to relax after a hard day. Like some kind of meditation.

Have you ever managed to draw something that you would like to show off? If so, describe your work.
I am not sure that I have such perfect works. But what in my opinion I like the most from my drawings are sketches of well-known sightseeings, for example, Coliseum, Tower Bridge and Triumphal Arch.

Do you think you can draw?

I can't draw, but I don't think it's just a matter of exercise and commitment. Once I wanted to learn how to draw, now I prefer to watch pictures. I can look at a drawing with a clear line and draw it, but I can't imagine in my head what I want to draw and do it. I didn't have the eagerness to exercise my imagination.

Do you think that drawing skills are just drawing or maybe creating creative harmony on a piece of paper or a computer screen?

I think that training is most important. Plastic talent is a matter of learning. Some people just have better starters, others need hundreds or even thousands of hours to catch up with them. Of course, knowledge is also important because it speeds up learning. In another example, car mechanics. You can acquire knowledge from internet. It is known that the most you will get when someone shows you. It's all a matter of time, there are only measures that can shorten the time to reach the goal, but they are not the decisive factor.

Have you ever managed to draw something that you would like to show off? If so, describe your work.

No. I've never painted anything that you would like to show off.

I know I can draw the only problem is the quality of my drawings.

2. Do you think that drawing skills are just drawing or maybe creating creative harmony on a piece of paper or a computer screen?
It can be connected yes, usually when someone is good at drawing they are good as graphics too. But I have met few people that really were not drawing somewhat impresive on paper in contrary to creating beatufiul images or video effects on PC.

3. Have you ever managed to draw something that you would like to show off? If so, describe your work.
No, I lack skills and patience. I only drew in my childhood and it wasn't freaking Mona Lisa.
1. Do you think you can draw?
Yes I can. In my opinion everyone can draw but some poeple may not like it and that's why they don't draw.
2. Do you think that drawing skills are just drawing or maybe creating creative harmony on a piece of paper or a computer screen?
No, in my opinion it is not so usefull as other skills. My grandmother is an artists and she is very talented. It can be really good for yourself but I am more focused on developing skills that will make better to deal with our world.
3. Have you ever managed to draw something that you would like to show off? If so, describe your work.
It is a talk of motivation. It inspire people to try draw something after watching the video.

No, I can't. I can't even draw those cartoons from the video.
Do you think that drawing skills are just drawing or maybe creating creative harmony on a piece of paper or a computer screen?
Real artists create real art. That is.
Have you ever managed to draw something that you would like to show off? If so, describe your work.
No, never. I was drawing when I was a kid but quickly abolished this activity.
Do you think you can draw?

I am not that bad at drawing because I study at SNM so drawing was one of the obligatory things to know how to do. I used to draw for many years so there was some practise to it which made my pretty good at it. The video, however, showed my that this might not be the case. You can draw but you don't have to be amazing at it and that's great in my opinion.

Do you think that drawing skills are just drawing or maybe creating creative harmony on a piece of paper or a computer screen?

There is much more to it than just making lines on a piece of paper. If somebody is not a skilled artist his/her work might be not very meaningful to other who see it but it might have a deeper meaning to a person who drew it. Those famous artists are so respected because their art has much more to say than it might look like on the first sight and others can appreciate that.

Have you ever managed to draw something that you would like to show off? If so, describe your work.

Yes, it has happened on a multiple occassions. I used to run a facebook page where I posted some of my works which i was proud of. Usually those were portraits of my relatives or famous people. From time to time I drew something else like architecture or animals.

1. Do you think you can draw?
Yes, because I used to draw some sketches before, I like the video though it is not for me, I think it would change my point of view if I watched it before I drew.

2.Do you think that drawing skills are just drawing or maybe creating creative harmony on a piece of paper or a computer screen?
It is not that much useful skill for me, I only treated it as a hobby and didn't improve my drawing skill on purpose, but it can be useful for many people who work as photoshop painters or 3d modelers, etc. It can be also a approach to express ourselves.

3.Have you ever managed to draw something that you would like to show off? If so, describe your work.
Unfortunately, no, because I am kind of self-appreciation person, I drew for myself, moreover I stopped drawing because I started to focus on playing guitar.

I'm not fantastic at drawing, but I' m not bad either, I think if I paid more attention to it, it would be very good.

In my opinion drawing is a combination of both, you have to have a talent for drawing, but you also have to have imagination to create something special.

I have never drawn anything I would like to share, maybe as a small child, but that's completely different. I am not an artist :p
I think i can’t draw or ever i will. I tried to but with miserable outcome.

I think drawing is an ability that some people have more predisposition than others.

When i was drawing i think to myself that this might look really good, but after looking at it from distance it looked terrible. So i would not like to show it to anybody.
Do you think you can draw?
I believe everyone can draw but some better than others. So, yes I can draw but not quite good but the video showed me more easy and presentable drawings.

Do you think that drawing skills are just drawing or maybe creating creative harmony on a piece of paper or a computer screen?
I think drawing is a powerful skill that can be used in many ways and can even change the lives of many if used right. some drawings are arts that speak to many.

Have you ever managed to draw something that you would like to show off? If so, describe your work.
No, I haven't.

I can draw, however I am definitely an amateur, so drawing for me is a kind of meditation, not something I would show anyone or would consider as some serious hobby.
Do you think that drawing skills are just drawing or maybe creating creative harmony on a piece of paper or a computer screen?
As I mentioned above drawing means for me a lot as it makes me relaxed I personally prefer to draw on a piece of paper, I feel like I am lost in thought, that makes me feel fabulous.
Have you ever managed to draw something that you would like to show off? If so, describe your work.

I really liked to draw some portraits before or depict toddlers, I tried to copy from pictures from the internet. Also, I read the article where it was said that in order for the dream to come true you need to draw it using your imagination, so I managed to draw a house of my dream: it was a a two-storeyed mansion with an amazing garden and pool.
Can I just copy my answer to the same video, posted two weeks ago? 😊 Well, fortunately, you asked different questions.

1. No, I can’t draw. I have dysgraphia and everything which comes from under my hand looks just ugly. I tried to repeat the movements shown in the video, and maybe it was not terrible, but not great either.

2. There is a huge difference between manual abilities and the sense of art. You can become a great artist without the ability to draw on paper, or computer. For those who aren’t artists (I mean not at all), drawing is just drawing.

3. No, absolutely not 😊 I don’t know if that counts, but sometimes I do various technical diagrams of the IT solutions, but usually they aren’t great in terms of visual quality.

1. I think I'm not the worst at drawing, but I wouldn't call myself an export or artist.

2. I think it depends on situation and purpose on this action? If you want to create art by drawing - it's creating harmony.

3. No, unfortunately not
Hello, here are my replies to your questions! Funnily, I'm watching this video for like a third time already because many people here use it for their articles, ha ha. :)

1. Yes, I think that I can draw! I am a self taught artist and I've been practicing since middle school. Even though I am still a hobbyist, I really want to be a professional artist one day. And I hope to achieve that dream with practice!

2. Drawing can be art but it also doesn't need to be art. It all depends on the context. If you're drawing a pyramid for your math assignment then I wouldn't call it a "creative harmony". :) However, if you're doodling some fantasy creatures in your notebook out of boredom - then sure, you may as well be creating real art at that exact moment! Skills are one thing, your intentions are other.

3. I've managed to draw a painting of a land covered in snow. I used acrylic paint for that. For now, it's hanging on my bedroom's wall but I wish to see it somewhere public one day. Maybe in the future… who knows?

Yes, before I go here in and watch the video, I already saw the name of your post and thought about what I can’t draw. In fact, I still think so, although this video should help to believe that it is not. I just remember and imagine the works of famous artists and I think that I will have to work very hard and long to reach at least part of their level.

Do you think that drawing skills are just drawing or maybe creating creative harmony on a piece of paper or a computer screen?
It seems to me that this is a very useful skill. Firstly, it can be useful at work. Especially if your work is related to a creative profession such as a designer or fashion designer or a specialist in visual effects and so on. Secondly, the drawing process develops the brain very well, not only from the point of view of its development, but also has a positive effect on the psychoemotional state of a person.

Have you ever managed to draw something that you would like to show off? If so, describe your work.
Honestly, I had no such experience. The last time I drew something while I was in school. But unfortunately it was not a masterpiece and I definitely didn’t want to show it to someone. Therefore, I can not talk about the positive outcome of such an experience:)

1. Yes, I do, just not as good as I would like to but sill always could be worse  and honestly after watching this video I realized that my skills are better than I thought before.
2. I think that drawing can be great form of relaxation. When I draw on a piece of paper it is time for myself and it helps me a lot to relax while letting my mind turn off and I do that quite often during the day sometimes even without realizing that I’m doing it for example while phone calls.
3. A few times actually, most of them were cartoons for my younger cousin. :)

1.I absolutely cannot draw. I think I just don't have the talent. I tried to draw myself a few days ago to prove my girlfriend that anyone can draw but turns out it's not that easy.

2.I think you have to have a set of skills for that and a good amount of well developed imagination. But also maybe if you work hard enough you could just learn to draw. No idea.

3.As I am not talented in that field, I never actually drew anything interesting. Wish I could :(
1 / I am not 100% sure of my drawing skills, although I learned this. Since I studied in this area at the university. I can do this, but I also can’t say with certainty how good this is.

2 / This can be seen from different angles, both from the side of hobby and therapy, and from the professional and working. For me it merges together. Since I can deal with orders for earnings and for my own mental reassurance and self-therapy.

3 / This happens quite often, the process of work on the whole, I really like. And you can talk about it endlessly.
My last work was the creation and study of social topics on Instagram and social networks. From the creative design of the page itself and social networks, and how pages can look like works of art or marketing plans.
Do you think you can draw?

No, I am terrible drawer. My imagination is really big however I never could set a shape of my dreams

Do you think that drawing skills are just drawing or maybe creating creative harmony on a piece of paper or a computer screen?

I won't connect it becouse drawing is kind of hard skill and someone as me who don't have hand to draw can have great feel about art, fashion and stuff

Have you ever managed to draw something that you would like to show off? If so, describe your work.

Only a few works for my mom birthsday when I was a kid
1. Definitely not. I am sure about that. At school, it was always a difficult task for me to do artistic work. Fortunately, I have sisters who helped me.
2. It depends on our taste. Sometimes looking at a picture is actually beautiful and I can say that it is a real art and I agree with people who love it. However, sometimes it's so that art critics rave over a daub worth millions. This is completely incomprehensible to me.
3. Oh, I don't think so :) I'm sure you don't want to watch any of my work.

1. I've always known that I can't draw. By draw I mean drawing for real. The video didn't change my mind about this topic. For sure I can follow the steps and the schematics but I wouldn't call it real drawing.

2. I mean.. When you can draw for real and have so much skill that your art work is really considered an art work then we could definitely name it as you proposed.

3. As I stated in the first answer I can’t draw, therefore I don’t have anything to show off.
1. I can draw but I'm not very good at it. I like drawing rather structural, perspective artworks than organic shapes.

2. I'd say that drawing is mostly about imagination and practise. If you can visualise something in your head, all you need to do is teach your hands to make it happen.

3. As I said I'm not good at drawing, however, I like creating in the 3D environment. I'm not sure if I would call it drawing, it is more like sculpting, however, the outcome is similar. Nevertheless, if you ask if I want to show off my work the answer will be mostly: no. I don't like to show what I did unless it has been perfected for some time, left alone for months and if I still like it then, I can show it to people. Otherwise, as a creator, I cannot be objective.

1. Do you think you can draw?
I can draw, but I have more difficulties with imagination. If something is technically simple in my head surely I can draw this.
2. Do you think that drawing skills are just drawing or maybe creating creative harmony on a piece of paper or a computer screen?
I don't have artistic mind towards imaging, my skills are limited to sketches, but if someone is making real art certainly create harmony with the surface.
3. Have you ever managed to draw something that you would like to show off? If so, describe your work.
My drawings are mostly sketches and plans of some cosplays, only things worth showing could be the final cosplays. I treat my sketches as whiteboard to visually analyze certain parts to make it easier to craft.

I think most of the people's drawing skills are just drawing, but some of them, with extraordinary talent, can create something that doesn't just look like a drawing, but rather a harmony of colours and shapes.
Have you ever managed to draw something that you would like to show off? If so, describe your work.
Yes, when I was young I created few pieces of artwork that I was proud of. I didn't do it by myself though, I had to look in the Internet for something and then copy it.

I certainly don't have the skills or workshop. Once in school I could draw a few nice things - like a tree or a hand because they taught us that.
• Do you think that drawing skills are just drawing or maybe creating creative harmony on a piece of paper or a computer screen?
The ability to draw is primarily a workshop and practice. At the beginning, every child draws the same "ugly" stuff, only by getting practice allows you to create something interesting. It's also hard to define what drawing skill is. Is the increasingly realistic reflection of reality (photorealism) or something else - like a combination of shapes and colors. One would have to answer the question what art is. I can't do it. There are paintings that, despite the fact that they are not photorealistic, make a very big impression on me, such as Nighthawks is a 1942 oil on canvas painting by Edward Hopper or 'Number 17a' by Jackson Pollock. It is possible that such seemingly "colorful daubs" also somehow represent reality. For example, I really like night photos of blurred metropolitan lights against a lake or river background, where without knowing the context such a piece of the picture would look like colorful daubs and yet it is really and actually a reflection of reality and related objects.

The problem with ecological cars emission in UK Since the adoption of the European Emission Allowance Directive in the European Parliament, all car makers have tried to submit. Since 1992, the Euro I standard has been in force, which limited the emission of carbon monoxide to the atmosphere. The Euro VI standard currently applies, which limits the series of exhaust gases. These include: hydrocarbons, nitrogen and carbon oxides, and dust.   The most significant change was brought by the Euro IV standard. For the first time it introduced the limitation of nitrogen oxides, which are responsible for the harmful compounds of smog.   What is smog?   Smog consists of sulfur oxides, nitrogen and carbon. In addition, solid substances such as suspended dust (PM). Dust suspend in atmospheric aerosols may be in liquid and solid form.
