Week 6 [18.11 - 24.11.2019] Is Taking notes helpful?

Is Taking notes helpful?

As time goes by, when we get older more and more responsibilities that we have to overcome. I recently started to notice that young people struggle with remembering everything that they had planned particular day, sometimes even I feel like not doing anything. I stopped working out, learning new things, stopped focusing at work, I was stuck at some point and I felt like some black hole sucks life out of my body. Maybe for some people it feels like exaggerating but it really is like your brain stopped responding to any input, like a computer that froze and is waiting for something to bring it back to life. I feel a lot of people struggle to be successful, to feel like their work makes a difference for better in life.

Is it possible to save yourself from failure? What should we do to feel better? Most of the time we tend to get more sucked in as we start to waste our time doing something just to silence our thoughts that tell us we lost, we were beaten and we have nothing to do to make our situation better. I started to notice that a lot of my friends, colleagues and peers feel that way.

I recently came across a video where some guy was talking about taking notes every day, He said human brain is not able to store all of the information that we come across in our everyday life or simply to remember what we did in a specific day, how we felt, what we thought about and what made us happy. Sometimes a brilliant idea come up to our mind but in most cases it will just fade away because we were not thinking long enough about the idea  and we simply loose it. This is where a notebook comes in handy. We can carry it anywhere with us and it will contain every idea, mood, interesting encounter and many other things that will be accessible to us whatever we want. He said that when everything was good, he was successful at work and his private life he felt he was bragging and there was no point in writing his thoughts on paper. After a few months he had a breakdown and this is where the notebook came in handy. We can take our thoughts and put it somewhere. He said that it’s a relief to put all that buzz in your head somewhere when you feel down and struggle with some problems. It helps you see the pattern that can lead to the source of the problem. Or you can just come back to some date and what made you happy, because we all know that we tend to forget all the good things in life when we have some problems in it. Writing your thoughts in notebook can be like a session with a therapist but you are your own therapist that knows every part of yourself. Taking notes has so much to offer and I highly recommend everyone to give it a try.
Figure 3. How to journal

Some people would say, but what about our phones? We can write everything in there as well. My answer to that is simple, when you are writing something by hand it is most likely to stay in your head as your muscles are working to write something and you stay focused on what you are doing more than if you are using your phone to do it.

Of course there are many types of notes, as u can do them for specific topics like mood, work, dreams and so on. I recently started to take notes about my dreams and it really helped with my sleep and bedtime routine. I started to remember what I was dreaming of and sometimes even control my dreams and I must say it’s an interesting experience.

I believe that taking notes is useful for your certain classes like math etc. but I never tried to have something similar to diary. It's just an abstract idea for me and such thing just wouldn't work for me.

Do you think it helps to take control over your life when you are feeling down?
The statement about taking control over your life by taking notes is exaggerated. Sure they can help you with small things like making groceries lists so you don't forget to buy something or writing down some to-do list if you have a lot on your mind and would be generally good for some time management but when 'taking control over your life' would require some real action towards your issues.

1. I think taking notes is really important and usefull thing. Espacially at work when you work with clients, have meeting with them and collect for example requirements for aplication you have to build. Antoher example is collage classes like math. I cannot imagine someone who does not take notes there.

2. In my opnion, for sure notes help us to remember thing or to do some stuff but I do not think that it helps us to take control over our life when we are feeling down.

3. Yes, of course. I take notes every day especially at work as I mentioned in first point but also for every day tasks like checking groceries.

1. Taking notes is very helpfull escpecially when you have something to learn by heart later. On my example I don't need to spend one hour more to study for a test when I was taking notes on the lecture.

2. Taking notes make us more organized in life and we can remember all things to learn or stuff to do but it doesn't seem to me that it helps when we are feeling down.

3. As I said in question one I take notes on lectures and it helps me a lot to learning these things later.

Taking notes is a very good way to repeat and record information. It is based on the fact that at least once more information is in our head. At some stage of learning this way doesn't work the most, because instead of knowledge you need logical thinking or special abilities (for example, on PJATK).

I hate feeling depressed. I am usually a volcano of positive energy, but every contact with pessimism spoils my positive aura. In addition, it doesn't help that I feel the sadness of other people around me. But don't be sad; try to be better and happier version of yourself.

What is your opinion on taking notes?
I believe that taking notes could improve our performance in classes or work when we need to remember list of tasks that we're obliged to do, but overall if You are able to remember all of it it's not that important.

Do you think it helps to take control over your life when you are feeling down?
I don't think so, actually i've never tried so my opinion isn't that much valuable but i can't see a way for it to help me when i'm feeling down.

Have you ever tried to take notes and if so did it help you in some way?
Yes i've took notes during classes when i was in primary school, it helped me back then and right now i'm writing down every idea that comes to my mind on my phone, whenever it's a good or bad idea, i'm writing down all of them so they might come in handy later.

What is your opinion on taking notes?
In my opinion, it is not possible to clearly define whether taking notes is good or bad, because it depends very much on the person. For some people taking notes is very useful, for others it is completely distracting and does not help.

Do you think it helps to take control over your life when you are feeling down?
I think taking notes helps to control and plan your life, because it gives us the points to do it, which certainly pulls you out when you are feeling down . Action always helps you to get out of worse situations.

Have you ever tried to take notes and if so did it help you in some way?
I was never good at taking notes at school because I was very distracted. I just preferred to sit and listen. But now I'm taking a few notes to remember what I have to do.
Interesting presentation. Answering your questions:

1. I think taking notes is a great thing. It certainly helps to systematize the notes and fewer things we need to remember. However, I personally don't use notes. My brain is my notebook :)

2. No, I don't think so. I would even say that these are two different things not related to each other.

3. I took notes, but I found it a waste of time for me. I don't like taking notes. I prefer to listen actively and at the same time remember all the information.
1.What is your opinion on taking notes?
I always take notes on something i want to learn or have to remember as it have double effect of just trying to do it in memory.

2.Do you think it helps to take control over your life when you are feeling down?
Yes, as we process so many informations, sometimes we forget about something we should always remember as some life rules and it is good to have a note that reminds us of it.

3.Have you ever tried to take notes and if so did it help you in some way?
Yes many times. Usually about my week schedule and everything i planned ahead.

1) What is your opinion on taking notes?
I don't do notes, but it's thing that I should change, your presentation made me think of this and it can significantly impact my productivity.

2) Do you think it helps to take control over your life when you are feeling down?
Yes, I think it's a great method to organise your life. There's so much going on that it's really difficult to handle without good organization skills.

3) Have you ever tried to take notes and if so did it help you in some way?
I would definitely try now and I'll let you know how it goes.

1. It depends. I don't take notes with things "to do", I usually can remember everything. On the other side when it comes to learning or planning my job I usually do them. It helps me to understand something. When I write it down or sketch it, my brain is somehow "opening" for it.

2. Probably yes. For some people, it's easier to write all the things down and then cross them out. It shows them that they're dealing with problems one by one and have control over the situation. Of course I don't mean it's something wrong, if it helps them, it means it's good.

3. Yes, as I said before taking notes help me with organizing my work/studying. It makes situation more clear and easier to understand.
Jakub Kisiała said…
1. I'm taking notes all the times, in calendar especially. It's really important for me because we live really fast and it's hard to remember everything without noting some event or meeting.
2. I don't think so. In my opinion if someone feeling down just need to have something on which can spend time, it can by taking notes or do something alse.
3. Yes, it helps my to better prepare for something and I don't have situation when I'm suprise by something about I've forgotten.

1.What is your opinion on taking notes?
By coincidence, we were discussing this question in a project management class this week, when it comes to studying or working, my opinion is that it depends on different people's memory of special topics, as for me, I never take notes in PJA, if something is important, then I can remember it in my brain, if it is not important, even if I will take a note, I won't read this note anymore, so it doesn't help and waste my time to take a note.

2.Do you think it helps to take control over your life when you are feeling down?
I don't think it helps me since I never take note as I answered in last question, but I think it helps some other people.

3.Have you ever tried to take notes and if so did it help you in some way?
When it comes to life but not studying or working, I don't take notes as well, I am sure it would help, but it won't help me that much, it is kinda dispensable for me. When it comes to inspiration(e.g. a short music phrase), I often take notes.

1. I think that note-taking boosts our memory and ability to understand and in my opinion taking notes in classes is a factor that contribute to success. Moreover it's a good way to gather some important information, ideas and to do list. Personally I take notes, because thank to it I'm organised and it help me to learn quicker and more effectiv.

2. I don't agree with it. I think that note-taking make our life organised and it gives us chance to write down things that we should learn or do.

3. Yes, I take notes everyday not only in classes but also at work. It helps me to learn faster and more effectiv, be more productive and remember all things that I need to do. In my private life I make to do list and to be honest I can't imagine my day without it.

Well of course only writing something in your diary or simply taking notes won't do anything. You need to learn from it, act and start doing something. Taking notes on your life will help you to see the patterns, bad habbits and from that you can learn and change them with something positive that will help you with becoming successful. Similar situation is with learning programming. You won't learn it only from buying a book or watching a video, you need to act and do something more.

Thank you for your comment. I think thaking notes in a meeting with clients or woring on some project is essencial and can help you a lot. I think you have to be the one that will take control over your life but taking notes might help with it.

Yes I agree with you that it depends mostly from a person what they would do with it. Simply taking notes won't do anything but when you really try to get something from it, I guess it would help a lot.

Thank you for your comment. I know a lot of people that make a check list for every day and it really helps them to accomplish everything that they have wrote in there. Sadly small obsticles that might change the plans written on the list can be really painfull and destroy it completely sometimes and they fell bad with that.

1. I think taking notes in any way is key to be able to do something bigger than what you can just remember. With my experience from work, the project is impossible to do without proper notes, however, the ones I do just by myself do not require them.

2. Can't say, because I almost never feel down for more than 5 minutes. If someone would feel better with it, sure though.

3. Yes, I took many notes while I was at school, as well as after that. As I mentioned taking notes is key to remember what you can't remember by yourself.
Olha Romaniuk said…
The style of notes depends on their purpose. If you need to remember the case list, it is better to write down the thesis. If you need to dig inside yourself, you might want to write down your thoughts here.

I think so. It's as if it's putting things in order in my head... Or divides the work of the brain into "need to do" and "state of mind"... Call it what you want.

I tried. And now I do it. It helps me to organize myself very much.
1) It's very useful also extremely helpful for people who needs some manual interactions for better remembering. It will help them more than writing on keyboard or recording things.

2) It can help but it's easier said than done. In reality "taking control" especially by writing things down can help only in some trivial cases. Of Course it will help you at some point to sort things in your mind but it's not taking control over the sytuation.

3) Taking notes helped me mostly when i needed to remember things i'm usually forgetting or to write down my ideas not to lose them. It's also helping me while studying to remember thing better.

1. In my opinion taking notes is very helpful espescially when we have a lot of task and different subjects to work on. It's hard to always remember all the things and ideas we come up with and writing them down allows us to be sure that we won't lose those thoughts later. It's easy to just check our notes and know what to do next.

2.Yes, I think so. We can obtain more control on our lives by taking care of small things at the beggining. Writing down daily to do lists even with simple task such as cleaning, doing laundry or reading keeps us grounded to easily achievable things which is crucial for staying sane while we are feeling down.

3.Yap, I even bought a planner to organize my time and keep notes. It works for me when I have to switch between projects daily or I plan appointments in more than week ahead.
1. What is your opinion on taking notes?

When I learn something new, I always take notes. I think it's something that allows you to remember the material better. When it comes to noting down the course of my day I have never tried anything like that, but I often do lists of things to do and I put in the calendar the most important plans.

2. Do you think it helps to take control over your life when you are feeling down?

Such an experience may allow us to rise from the hole in our lives, but it may as well plunge us even deeper into a sense of hopelessness.

3. Have you ever tried to take notes and if so did it help you in some way?

Like I said, I've never tried anything like this. Apart from the basic notes with the list of things to do, I did not go deeper into this subject.
Roman Batyuk said…
To my mind, it is very helpful. First off all you won't forget the task because you have a TODO list. Secondly, you can note some ideas that come to your mind so you won't forget.
Taking notes gives you the ability to plan your life and control it. In the supermarket, it is very useful because you will save your money.
I am taking notes all the time. Thanks to my smartphone I don't need to take a pen and a sheet of paper with me :) It helps me a lot because you have more time to plan everything and maybe substitute some tasks or remove them at all. I use them in studies because it is very hard to keep everything in your head.
What is your opinion on taking notes?
I take notes sometimes, because it’s easier to remember certain things, more complicated ones. It’s also useful to write down important information not to forget about it. At the end of the day you can check if you completed everything you wanted or had to do that day. Especially nowadays we live in such a rush and we are bombarded with information from everywhere, it’s easy to forget something.

Do you think it helps to take control over your life when you are feeling down?
In my opinion it helps to gather your thoughts and organize your life and plans. It’s better to have something written down, because it can be hard to think when you’re in a bad mental state.

Have you ever tried to take notes and if so did it help you in some way?
I have tried taking notes on my phone, because I know I won’t lose them in any way. It does help me stay organised and make sure I did everything I had to do.
1. In my opinion, taking notes is very useful. In my case, they help me
easier to remember. It seems to me that the notes bring light professionalism

2. I don't think so

3. Every time I have a problem, I support the solutions with notes. Notes will sort things out a little
and give me a wider picture of the problem

What is your opinion on taking notes?
As you said, there are different types of notes, depending on what you write down in them, dreams, goals, reminders, or just some thoughts. Each of us can use the appropriate type of notes for him and successfully apply in our lives. Someone has a bad memory, someone goes astray on the way to the goal, and so on. I think this is a useful thing anyway. The main thing is to overcome laziness, pick up a pen and notebook. This is not so simple. I think people on average make few notes on paper, so what they will display in their notes will definitely be remembered.

Do you think it helps to take control over your life when you are feeling down?
The answer is of course elementary. It depends on the individual character traits of a particular person. It can help someone. Someone actually practices talking with himself through notes in a diary. And usually such people claim that this is a good way to find themselves and analyze themselves.
There are people who in difficult moments perceive only speech. They need to see and listen, preferably a person who will help them in such a situation. Here, notes will not help.

Have you ever tried to take notes and if so did it help you in some way?
I took notes on the work. Solely in order to plan tasks or find a connection between tasks in a specific work day. For a while it was convenient for me. But for a long time I did not save such notes. Usually I got rid of them right after the list of tasks was completed.
1. What is your opinion on taking notes?

My opinion is that it is a great way of improving productivity. You need to make yourself more disciplined to keep on writing those notes and obey them but in the end it is all worth it. After some time it should become a heatlhy habit. I use notes very often and I am very happy with the result.

2. Do you think it helps to take control over your life when you are feeling down?

Absolutely. When you have a list of things that you need to do and after completing each you get to cross it from the list it is a huge satisfaction behind it. Many people feel down because they think that their life is a mess and such notes are very useful when it comes to putting things in order. When you only think about things you have to do they become overwhelming but when you write them down they seem managable.

3. Have you ever tried to take notes and if so did it help you in some way?

As I have earlier said I've been taking notes throughout my life and they have always been useful and helpful. Many times they actually made things possible because without them I wouldn't be able to wrap my head around everything that is left to be done. Productivity is the second thing - when time is a key factor there is nothing better to do than a list with a proper order. Write it down and get to work.
What is your opinion on taking notes?

I don't like to take lecture notes, but when I learn and solve problems myself, I like to do it. This allowed me to quickly repeat the thought process that accompanied me at the time of learning and thus assimilate it.

Do you think it helps to take control over your life when you are feeling down?

In the context of the diary I do not know because I have never done such remedies and I probably would not have patience. I'd rather think about and spread the problem into deeds in my head than write it down. In the case of any calendars or letters to do, I never did anything like that, I relied on memory.

Have you ever tried to take notes and if so did it help you in some way?

As I wrote earlier, the notes allow me to recreate the thought process. Thanks to this, if I solved a problem for the first time, it will be much easier the second time.

1.I think that making notes is a good habit, especially for those people who lead an active lifestyle or have many different things to do during the day, week or even month. It’s hard to keep everything in mind, it’s better to make a note and be sure that nothing will be forgotten.

2.I think it will help you to be more organized, but it hardly will helps to take control over your life when you are feeling down.

3.Yes, I have such colored stickers that I stick on my wall above the table and write on them different tasks that need to be done. Thus, I always have before my eyes all the tasks that I have to do. For example, one of those stickers has the following inscription: "LEK >=6 comments".

What is your opinion on taking notes?

After reading your presentation, I realized that it was a really great idea, and although I used to think about it, it went out of my mind. I think taking notes has many benefits, unfortunately I think I'm too lazy to do it.

Do you think it helps to take control over your life when you are feeling down?

I think this is a good method of self-therapy, as you mentioned in the presentation. Daily rubbing with your thoughts allows you to draw many conclusions and move forward with your life. We know each other best and talking to ourselves can bring a lot to our lives, especially in times of crisis.

Have you ever tried to take notes and if so did it help you in some way?

Unfortunately I have never tried this method because as I mentioned I am too lazy and too disorganized.
1. Taking notes is very useful and helpful, especially when we have a lot of material to remember. I make notes in every part of my life and it helps me to get more organised. In most cases I write notes in my phone and I can’t imagine life without doing it.

2. I don’t see any relation between taking notes and problems in life. Most of my notes concern lots on unimportant things that I don’t need to keep in my mind. When I have very important things to do, I’m just focused on remembering it.

3. Yes, as I mentioned before I do it all the time. It helps me to get focused on more important things than for example grocery list.

1. It is really helpful. Moreover I encourage everyone to get a magnetic board, if they can. I know it's not really useful outside home, but it still comes in handy. I feel like writing down things on it helps not only remembering things, but also organising a day (or a week, month... etc.). I don't own nor never owned a notebook in which I actually wrote anything, but I guess it's similar experience to magnetic board (but more lasting), and I'd really recommend getting one.

2. I'm not sure if it can help you when you're feeling down, but like I already stated, writing things down helps managing our life and this alone may have good effect on us.

3. Yes. It's easier to remember important dates or motivate yourself to sit to work, if we for example do a checklist with tasks to do and see that it's not even touched yet.

1. What is your opinion on taking notes?

When it comes to notes considering learning new things, especially when you are a “visual learner” helps concentrate, learn faster and focus only on crucial information. It’s vital to do them by hand, as it works better for our brain to process the information we are writing down.

When it comes to daily routine notes, there is something called “morning pages” and it’s quite popular custom. It’s this concept in which you spend around 1 hour during the day to write down your stream of thoughts (around 3 A4 pages). Letting go of all your ideas, thoughts, associations is crucial during this exercise. You can write down even irrelevant phrases and sentences. Which during the reading (after about 2-3 months) can be quite surprising. Thanks to that you let some steam of your brain, you let go of thoughts that you sometimes had no idea existed and help your brain process actual information and facts. It’s very useful, yet time consuming habit, so as much as I recommend it, I don’t think it’s for everyone. It’s easy to forget about doing it on the daily basis and let go after few days.

2. Do you think it helps to take control over your life when you are feeling down?

I think it helps arrange thoughts and focus on important things, it can help to point out all the problems and worries, and let go of all the bad, negative emotions.

3. Have you ever tried to take notes and if so did it help you in some way?

I actually did. As I tend to overthink it’s good to sometimes let go off the steam and let my brain rest for a while. I don’t do this on a daily basis, but when I’m overwhelmed with emotions, I like to write some kind of a letter to myself, and then read it after few days to verify if my emotions were true, and if they are still present.

1. Usually, I am too lazy to take notes myself, but I try to do them, usually they're not best quality and that's why I don't learn from them.

2. I don't think it helps as much as we think. Notes are there just to help our memory not to overflow it.

3. I tried to do it, but I couldn't utilise them as good as some people do, and I keep forgetting to make them on a regular basis.

1. I think that taking notes is really helpful it is one of the most efficient way to remember better what you have been learning. Moreover notes can let u take full control of your daily goals. I always take notes during my work to write down what I have already done and also remember what I still need to do.

2. Yes I think it helps because if u write down all your responsibilities, and other stuff u need to do it is more likely u gonna make it. Such notes let u stay focused on your tasks and even if u feel down at some point the exact plan will help u for sure.

3. Yes I use notes in my work, for example I notice my tasks’ progress, some tips from older teamworkers. I also use notes to write down the time I have given up to each task, I need that because after my day work I need to register it in some system. Moreover my notes often are very useful source of information for others employees of the company I work for, I describe how to run programs I made or how to migrate it to another environment.

1. It depends on what we use them for. I am not convinced if we are talking about writing about our emotions. When it comes to taking notes from meetings, work studies, it is a good method to remember as much as possible, or be able to return to information after a while.
2. No, I don’t.
3. Yes, I have. I toke nots after training, because I had a problem to remember all my trainings. So, it helps me to order my trening plan.
What is your opinion on taking notes?
It's commonly used by everyone and I do so as well. Whenever you need to remember some information quickly you may simply use sticky notes or some note application.
Do you think it helps to take control over your life when you are feeling down?
I think so, because writing is kind of expressing form of feelings. Authors write books with some feeling, inspiration and motivation. I think same method can be used here.
Have you ever tried to take notes and if so did it help you in some way?
Yes many times, and it was very helpful. I always carry with myself notes because it remembers me things I have to do.
1. I think taking notes can be helpful. It will help to help people with depression or other problems feel better. I think it is even better to keep a kind of diary during psychological difficulties, where you can describe your condition and thoughts in more detail.

2. Yes, I think it can help, but only if the person himself will want it.

3. Yes, I'm taking notes. I used to write down my dreams. I was just wondering what I was dreaming until I forgot it. Also, I often make notes when I come up with an idea. I also have a calendar on my wall where I write down what I need to do for each day.

1. I mostly note small things, like tasks to do or things that I have to finish during weekend.
2. Yes, I'd say that taking notes is like talking with myself.
3. Yes, I try to take notes when I come up with an idea on something or I need to remember about something.

if I want to learn a topic very quickly, I learn faster by taking notes.
Do you think it helps to take control over your life when you are feeling down?
I do not think so. Taking notes only makes me learn what I want to learn faster and more powerfully. I don't think it'il help emotionally.
Have you ever tried to take notes and if so did it help you in some way?
Yes I explained above, I guess I don't need to write it again :)

1. I think it's a good thing to write a note about something difficult to remember or write down your calculations and thoughts. But I totally don't understand people who write everything in a diary on a day-to-day basis. I simply can't find any reasons for doing something like that. Information in a diary is not secured, everyone can read it for a purpose or just by accident.

2. I think it can help when you make a grocery list. It's helpful when you write down your tasks to manage what you need to do. Sometimes it's better to write down your thoughts about something to understand that better or organize your knowledge. But I don't think that making some sort of personal diary will help to "take control over your life" or make you better in any sense (but maybe you will become a better writer).

3. I make notes every couple of days when making a grocery list or write down my tasks at a to-do list and it helps me a lot. But as mentioned above I won't make a personal diary as I can't find any reasons to do it.

1. Well, I'm not a big fan of doing notes, I'm too lazy for it. But I would like such a habit, as it's a good way to reproduce information and you can reproduce it anytime.

2. There are a lot of good reasons for keeping a diary. But in truth, I never kept a diary, so I can't say for sure that it will really help, and it also depends on person.

3. As I said before, no. But I would like to start making more notes.

1) It is a highly beneficial skill to have. I'm doing it myself, and I always happy to learn how to do it more efficiently. All that said, though, it isn't always worth to make notes, because some times it would make you lose your attention and possibly miss out on some important stuff. For that reason, I would argue that knowing when it is better to make notes and when it is better to concentrate on the task you doing with all brainpower you have is a whole another skill in itself.
2)I never tried to use notes that way, so I have to ways to prove or disprove that claim. But I don't have a hard time believing that it can indeed help someone to sort his or her thoughts out and hence manage to achieve inner peace.
3)Yes, I do it very often. Generally speaking, I tend only to write down some general topics or ideas which would let me restore my thought process later when I would need to return and continue working on it.
What is your opinion on taking notes?
I write to do lists and setting up notifications, it helps me a lot, as there is so much to do that usually a forget something that I should do. Also if I have some difficult task, taking a step by stem notes helps me to find the solution. But I don't white something like "my life diary", I can analyze what I did right or wrong without writing it down.
Do you think it helps to take control over your life when you are feeling down?
As I said, everyday diary doesn't give you a control over your life, it is just a statement of fact, which doesn't make effect on anything.
Have you ever tried to take notes and if so did it help you in some way?
I have tried to take notes of my life, but it was too boring.
What is your opinion on taking notes?

I think it is helpful. It helps to clear your mind and to make your goals more clearly. It shows how are you progressing and lower everyday stress.

Do you think it helps to take control over your life when you are feeling down?

I am not sure about taking control of my life, but I think it helps to clarify what is going on. It boosts creativity and improves overall productivity. As well as it helps to see, what have you done already and what still has to be done? When you write your thought on a paper/phone it is better, that simply have it in our mind.

Have you ever tried to take notes and if so did it help you in some way?

Yes, I am currently trying to take notes every day. Unfortunately, I cannot achieve this every day, but it helps me a lot. I feel better the next day after I write down my thoughts. I cannot explain how it is working, but it helps me and I feel better, more productive and more concrete.
Notes has long been an important part of life for me. I enjoyed notebooks and writing and enjoy it until now. But what I had understood over the years is that notes are tools for time saving, they should not become difficult routine that will enable us spend a lot of time on them. When we write journals, we record all our steps and it takes time. It is past experience and we don't need it anymore. I see notes helpful only when they are plans for the future

Week 11 [03-09.06.2019] The problem with ecological cars emission in UK

The problem with ecological cars emission in UK Since the adoption of the European Emission Allowance Directive in the European Parliament, all car makers have tried to submit. Since 1992, the Euro I standard has been in force, which limited the emission of carbon monoxide to the atmosphere. The Euro VI standard currently applies, which limits the series of exhaust gases. These include: hydrocarbons, nitrogen and carbon oxides, and dust.   The most significant change was brought by the Euro IV standard. For the first time it introduced the limitation of nitrogen oxides, which are responsible for the harmful compounds of smog.   What is smog?   Smog consists of sulfur oxides, nitrogen and carbon. In addition, solid substances such as suspended dust (PM). Dust suspend in atmospheric aerosols may be in liquid and solid form. These can be particles of sea salt, clouds from the Sahara and artificial compounds made by people. These compounds often come fr

Week 12 (12.01-18.01.15) Are you an early bird or a night owl ?

Owls are nocturnal creatures. They’re wide awake at night and they sleep during the day. If this sounds like bliss to you, then, like about 20 percent of the population who find themselves most active at around 9 pm, you may fall into the same category as our feathered friend. Night owls often have difficulty waking up in the morning, and like to be up late at night.  Studies of animal behaviour indicate that being a night owl may actually be built into some people’s genes. This would explain why those late-to-bed, late-to-rise people find it so difficult to change their behaviour. The trouble for night owls is that they just have to be at places such as work and school far too early. This is when the alarm clock becomes the night owl’s most important survival tool. Experts say that one way for a night owl to beat their dependence on their alarm clocks is to sleep with the curtains open. The Theory is that if they do so, the morning sunlight will awaken them gently and naturally.
