Improvisation
One of my favourite pastimes lately, is going to improvisations. Ones that im talking about are short comedy shows.
It all started 1 year ago when my friend invited me for the first time to see - Two gentelmen - an improvised duo. They are, yes, 2 comedians from Wroclaw and one of best (for me) duo on stage. But how it all works? Everything begins with them coming up on stage completly unprepaired. They welcome viewers, introducing themselves and show has already started. They welcome again those who are for the first time to make you feel a bit more special. Then they ask you to find an eye connection with somebody that you never met before. It is kinda funny and painfull at the same time. Then when you are already wormed up it is time for public to come up with one word as inspiration for show. It let you understand that in fact it is totally unprepaired.
The lights go out and show begins. One of the greatest ideas is that they starts with some short prolog without any explanation what is going on. After a while they are changing scenario with just one word shouted out loud like when you had to inspire them and they are already in anothere scene that is somehow connected with one that took place before. Usually it makes some people cry from laugh or even cause mindblow with the way that they refer to what happened before.
I hope, i made you somehow interested in improvisations, it is great way to spend evening with friends and have some fun. I highly recomend this duo that i described as it is great alternative for sitting in home and watching embaressing comedies in tv.
1. Have you ever heard about improvisations? Have you ever seen one?
2. What do you think about entertainments like this?

To be honest, this is not something that I would enjoy watching, but I must agree that behind these short comedy improvisations must lie huge creativity and very funny personality. It's interesting how successful you can become by performing this type of entertainment.
2. I think that it's great fun for raising your spirit.
I think a lot depends on the talent of the artist(s). It might be great or if the vibe is misleading awful...
Yes, I've heard about them and I've seen few before. Moreover, I am also a fan of improvisations and I think it is sometimes hard to believe that these guys are seriously not prepared whatsoever.
2. What do you think about entertainments like this?
I truly enjoy this kind of entertainment and I hope one day it would be no longer a niche. I like to call it a "quality entertainment", as a lot of ways to spend some time having fun these days includes virtual or simply online world.
No, I didn't, but I'm watching now.
It is good and pretty funny, but in my opinion there are some better jokers, have you heard about Jim Jefferies?
2. It is a good way to temporary improve your mood, the job similar to this existed even ages ago.
This form of entertainment isn't anything that I would call demanding or anywhere near ambitious. It's just fun to listen to the junk that random people say sometimes, without treating it too seriously.
That sound pretty challenging and demands lot of preparation(in fact there is no preparation but
I am not talking about the preparation before show). The people who take part in such improvisations
should have a lot knowledge and experience in order to show a good perfomance. It may not be so funny as
well-prepared stand-up but you always have to keep in mind that they come up with funny jokes or sarcastic responses
immediately. To my mind these factors could make this improvisations so funny and adorable.
Yes, I did, but I was never interested in stand-ups. I haven't seen any and it doesn't sound to me like I will go to it anytime in the future.
2. What do you think about entertainments like this?
I never been at any stand-up before so I can't really tell if it's good one or not.
After this performance, I really loved this kind of entertainments and will be part of it at least once a month.
Like I said, it could be fun. People enjoy it, and I think that it's better than cabaret for sure xD
2. I like stand-up comedies but it is important for me that such monologue is something more than a strong language. I like when artists tries to involve a audience and even when they make laugh at audience. It is the most funny part of such shows.
Yes, but I've never seen one. I think it is a nice type of entertainment, and I am looking forward to see it live
2. What do you think about entertainments like this?
It looks nice, so maybe I can answer this question when I will finally see it!
