Week 6 [07.05-13.05.2018]Rich And Poor People Seek To Understand Each Other

Rich And Poor People Seek To Understand
Each Other

The rich and the poor are the Yin and Yang of any country that together form a society. But, despite the fact that they are close, they are two different worlds, different from each other, like an elevator and cheese.

Even those who broke out, as they say, from mud to riches, for the most part stopped understanding the poor. It is clear that if you want to get out of poverty - do everything possible for this, but it's not about that. The fact that they live under different laws. And while some go to art exhibitions with receptions and communicate with wealthy people, others communicate with ordinary workers, thinking about how to live up to the next salary.

1. Wich size will u choose?
2. Do u condemn people witch one having too much money or don't have em at all( homeless)?

I’m not choosing any side. I prefer more modest approach to wealth. Achieving financial security is my only goal when it comes to wealth. I don’t feel like I would need to use it to show my status level by buying luxuries cars or wearing expensive clothing. I don’t necessarily condemn them, but I don’t think it’s right. I also think that homeless people are in that state because of their own devices. Although it’s true that society doesn’t give usually more than one chance and it become harder and harder for them when they fall to addictions or other obstacles. But some people just aren’t fit for society. Like those penguins that leave their herd and venture into the center of continent for certain death.

I do not know if I understand the question, but according to me it is impossible to choose a side. Everyone wants to have money and have a good standard of living. Unfortunately, sometimes life goes differently.
I can not say that I condemn one of the parties. Certainly showing off your money is not an example of good behavior. It seems to me that the problem of poor people is very complex. The reasons why someone landed on the street can be many. Sometimes just a few bad decisions or the environment in which we live can lead to such a situation. Not everyone can deal with their situation, sometimes you just can not see the solution. Often, such people fall into alcoholism because the reality is more bearable when you are drunk. The state should support and help such people, at least those who want to help themselves.

It's not like I'm 'against' poor people, but I've always been thinking that being rich is some metric of being successful in your life. For me it means that this person has ability to pursue his/her aims, work hard or he/she is just really smart. Of course it's not like that in all cases, but I believe that generally success doesn't come from nowhere. Being poor can depend on many different aspects that are not dependent on us like environment that we live in or that we were raised in, but it can depend on some things that actually are dependent on us like being lazy or not making good life decisions. Those last factors would be eventually something that I would be 'against', but I think that everyone is an architect of his own fate and it doesn't really matter if I'm 'against' or not.

If you're asking me if I want to be rich then the answer is obvious :D
I don't condemn anyone based on their wealth, there will always be more and less successful people. But it is important that everyone makes money in a fair way, especially without exploiting others. Moreover, each country should have system designed for helping people elevate themselves from poverty and to balance social inequality.

I don’t exactly know what hides behind the first question. To me there is nothing to choose, these are different worlds with unique experiences and no one should judge other being solely by their income level. I don’t condemn people with too much or no money, it is immoral to do that without understanding their life situation. However most of my own experiences with poor people are that they don’t really want any help (even though they need it) sometimes even responding with hatred or envy to those who want to provide aid. Very wealthy on the other hand either try to hide their income and live on sufficient financial level, which was explained in the video, or try to share their wealth with poor, but they don’t fully understand how to do it efficiently. Usually rich people are not wasting their money, most of them (I feel) want to keep their financial situation well for as long as possible.
I don't condemn any of this groups. I think that bigger meaning in behavior of person in society and based on this we can form our thinking about person. I have friends that don't have enough money to get satisfaction from life so when they walk with me I'm trying to fix this and as response they can helm me to solve my tasks.

I don't really think that asking about what side we would choose is an appropriate question. Life is not that simple and even if we choose to become members of one of the sides, we may end up being in the opposite. For some people it's just enough to have something to eat. I think that money certainly helps in many aspects of our life, it certainly is the key to power. Just keep in mind that not everyone needs this power as anything necessary in their lives. I think that I would classify myself somewhere in the middle. I like to live everyday life without having to worry about not having money for some really basic needs and a little fun. That doesn't mean that I want to devote my life to earning more and more. I just see it as a "nice-to-have."
I can't condemn any of these groups unless members of either group start to live as a criminals. There is always another way of living the life as an honest and honorable person. When it comes to homeless people, I feel sad for many of them. People tend to judge them right away, without knowing the whole story. I feel like these of them who abuse our trust have created this image in our minds, which makes their lives even more miserable than they were.

I think same as one of attendees of this show - its not important what you do but you have to be fullfilled by it. If for example you whould chouse to be a doctor to save peoples life while sattisfy your need of joy in life then it whouldn't matter if you salary is huge or mediocre.
For me money is just a tool to make the life that I want and I don't need a lot but rather decent salary whould be enough for me.
The first question seems a little bit unclear to me. How can we judge someone’s life if we don’t experience all his problems. As for me judging people by their income level is not a good idea at all. The truly happiness doesn’t depend on money, you don’t have to spend all your life in order to gain as much money as possible, of course if it does make you happy. Money is just a tool which can solve a lot of your problems nowadays(as well as create them).
I don’t condemn anyone based on their wealth, because as I said everyone has different priorities in his/her life.

1. The size of what? What is the size of the "power"? I probably would not want to lie and say that I do not need it, I would like the maximum power that I can overpower.

2. I do not blame neither the poor nor the rich, I believe that everyone lives and learns what he wants. Perhaps poor people often simply do not notice the opportunities provided to them, because they are concerned with the question "where to get money for needs?"
Vladlen Kyselov said…
I guess the question should be not about "size", but about "side". Well, I would not choose any side, because wealth is something what you need to be able to manage and if you can`t that doesn`t even matter if you are rich or poor you won`t have money really soon. Actually I blame both poor people and rich, but only some people from those groups. So I blame poor people who have opportunities, but don`t use it and don`t even try to do it and I blame rich people who gained their wealth from someone, for example, their parents and when they lose their parents "efforts" on expensive and luxurious useless things.

I don't choose any side and the same with condeming someone. It's normal that people who are developing in various conditions will have different behavior, point of view and habits. It's no one's blame. I think it's very unfair to look at people paying special attention on money. In my opinion we should consider if someone is good man and try to donn't do bad things to other. If it comes about homeless people, more of them have psychic problems. In fact i don't hav idea how we should treat them. Of course i don't think about condeming them but in other side we shoul'd be too emollient for them.
Unknown said…
Of course, I do not choose any side. I can't blame rich people for being able to live in luxury. They deserved it with their hard work. We have to take an example of them and create an empire yourself.

Of course I'm not condemning. We can't laugh at homeless people just try to help them. And the other way. We need to respect rich people because they may have reached their property with hard work.

Unknown said…
In my opinion, this is an obvious question and I think everyone will answer the same question. Everyone wants to have money because we will not survive without it. And how we behave with them depends on us.
Why should I condemn both of them? Because they worked to earn their own belongings, or because maybe something wrong happened to them? This does not make sense.
Foodocado said…
I am not sure if I understand the first question correctly. I would not choose any side. Everyone's life goal is to secure the family financially, so they do everything to achieve that. It's nothing wrong in that.

We shouldn't look on people's money. It's much more valuable for me to consider people as who they are and what they present. Some people don't have any money, but they are very interesting.

I think discussing such question is strongly inappropriate. We are talking
about beeing poor while at the same time students are spending
1230 zł per month on this school. By the way isn't it ironic and funny how some people here
are talking about giving away goods, public scholarship, and more while and the same time
are studying here? Mayby marxism-leninism-maoism is a trendy topic?

I don't condemn any of them as well as I cant take one side. Each human has his own reasons to be reach or poor. Im from family that came from poverty to some kind of middle income range(a bit more than middle for ukraine). I have never thought that money gives you a lot. Money- just a tool to make something or get something. I think it's wrong when people tend to concentrate on getting more and more money just to have them. You either have to use them for good things(well, it's my own opinion) and your satisfaction or you just dont need them. I don't think people that everyone can make money, and I dont think that poverty is somebody's fault. I think that amount of money a person can even potentially earn depends on the environment and situation of this person. Yeah, a lot of famous multi-billionaires started from an idea and garage or something like that, but a lot of people don't even have a garage, or they couldn't even educate or just read books to even get that idea. I just think that each and every human should control himself and think about others and should be self-conscious, no matter if he is poor or rich.
Marcin Górski said…
Sorry but I don't understand your question. If you are talking about two groups: rich and poor people I can't choose any side because money are not important. There are a lot of personality traits which are better for me. Of course you need some money to survive but If I have to choose between money and health.. it's health.
I'm not condemning. Homeless people are the same like poor people. It's only paper. We need to help them because they are often have a lot of problems (homeless is not the only one).

Well , I can't obviously pick a side. I have to place myself I would do it somewhere in the middle.
Wow your questions are pretty straight forward. No i wouldn't condemn anyone for anything (unless its a criminal). Sometimes it's not theirs choice to be homeless and I feel sorry for them and yes, sometimes I envy people who has to much money its obvious I am just a man, I don't know any person who would condemn people because of their social status it is dumb.

1. Wich side will u choose?
Money isn’t everything, but it gives you a comfort in making decisions or spending time as you want, so I don’t think that anyone would choose being poor. Of course some can say that money changes you, but in my opinion that's not true at all.

2. Do u condemn people witch one having too much money or don't have em at all( homeless)?
I don’t condemn anyone because of the money he has. Money is not making bad people better and good people worse. It all depends on how you were brought up. I know rich people acting in a rustic way and a very valuable poor people. So the money is not a factor to judge anyone.
I do not blame any of these groups. I can't blame rich people for being able to live in luxury. They deserved it with their hard work. When it comes to homeless people, I feel sad. Because prejudice makes us negatively treat such people. But many of them have very sad stories and our attitude makes them suffer even more. I think that I would classify myself somewhere in the middle. I like to live everyday life without having to worry about not having money. It is impossible to earn all the money in the world. I'm will be satisfied with the life where earn a normal salary in order not to need.

I think that it is impossible to choose any side and for me it is really unfair to judge people because of their wallet size. I am not a communist and I can't say that someone has too much money and everyone should have the same wealth level. A such thinking is a utopia. For me it is important if somebody achieve their wealth honest or not.

You know, there is nothing wrong in being rich/poor. Everyone of us is trying to make the biggest amount of money in our life to secure our family and everyone is doing it at its best.

Of course I want to be rich in my live. Money isn't everything, but it gives you A LOT. When you're happy, you and your family is healthy and you have some extra money to spend it on your dreams - that's great.

I hope that my answers will satisfy you, because I'm not sure if I understood these questions.

I don't really feel like I need to choose someones side. But I know that when you have money you have opportunity and power to do what you really want, to concentrate on things that really matters not about where do you take money for tomorrow's meal.
You forgot about people who is in the middle.
Unknown said…
I am choosing the side, where people do not judge anyone's level of wealth and aren't even interested in it. Really, I think nowadays it is a bad taste to pay attention on things like someone's salary. I have enough examples of rich and poor people communicating together and visiting the same parties, so come on, stop looking into someone's pocket. As you could guess, I am not gonna condemn people for being anyone they want, except violence, I think.
Unknown said…
I have a lot of friends and they are in very different financial situation but I never ever judge anyone because of social status or wealth.
I know a lot of really rich people and they are often not happy at all and they are in many cases alone because are focused just on increasing wealth. So it's all about balance and "preservation of moderation"
Unknown said…
I assume I don't know anyone who would like to be poor, so the answer to the first question is obvious. I regard that being poor or homeless it's a decision, not the accident. It's tough nowadays to become homeless. I know many good people who could offer a hand whenever would happen, but the problem of homeless is much more in-depth. They do not want to change their situation. When we get used to the lifestyle where we are not obligated to do anything it is almost impossible to change our minds. That's why we don't hear about successful "way-back" of being homeless. On the other side, we have wealthy people. This case's also very sophisticated in my opinion. Most rich people had to sacrifice something in their lives. Relationships, family, friends, social connections, money, family etc.
That's why before making an opinion on someone I need to talk with him and get him know.

If I understand this corectly - You are asking me to choose between rich and poor, right?
I would not choose any side. I choose person. There are rich people that just get money on the start and live only by using them, there are poor people that by doing nothing are still poor. So maybe "rich" person is closer to my point of view, because they do something to achive their goals - they could be poor as well at the begining - and thats why I respect them.

Do I candemn? Hmm.. let me think.. I believe that everyone should get what they deserve - if homeless people done nothing to change that, then why I should respect and admire that - I'm not going to be sorry for them or help them either, but my point of view will change dramatically if they ask me to support they actions. Same witch rich people, if they have money only because they get it from other person - they'll not get my respect. Like I mentioned ate the begining I respect person and their action to make their life situation better ;)

I would choose to be a successful person because i want to make ma mother and father dreams come true and build a house for the parent of my boyfriend , and have my own house a possibility to travel . first i would help my family and then other people. I'm just used to good condition and right now i'm broke because we live on our own and i need to pass ma bachelor so no work no money and no goods. So some people have everything since the beginning and others do nothing to change their situation or they didn't thought about it before (no education or plan) so if someone is poor it can be because they chose to work beside first to educate (i have a really life example) and rich people are those that first passed their education being poor and then develop their life. Its an example of truth that i observed .

Week 12 (12.01-18.01.15) Are you an early bird or a night owl ?

Owls are nocturnal creatures. They’re wide awake at night and they sleep during the day. If this sounds like bliss to you, then, like about 20 percent of the population who find themselves most active at around 9 pm, you may fall into the same category as our feathered friend. Night owls often have difficulty waking up in the morning, and like to be up late at night.  Studies of animal behaviour indicate that being a night owl may actually be built into some people’s genes. This would explain why those late-to-bed, late-to-rise people find it so difficult to change their behaviour. The trouble for night owls is that they just have to be at places such as work and school far too early. This is when the alarm clock becomes the night owl’s most important survival tool. Experts say that one way for a night owl to beat their dependence on their alarm clocks is to sleep with the curtains open. The Theory is that if they do so, the morning sunlight will awaken them gently and natura...

Week 11 [03-09.06.2019] The problem with ecological cars emission in UK

The problem with ecological cars emission in UK Since the adoption of the European Emission Allowance Directive in the European Parliament, all car makers have tried to submit. Since 1992, the Euro I standard has been in force, which limited the emission of carbon monoxide to the atmosphere. The Euro VI standard currently applies, which limits the series of exhaust gases. These include: hydrocarbons, nitrogen and carbon oxides, and dust.   The most significant change was brought by the Euro IV standard. For the first time it introduced the limitation of nitrogen oxides, which are responsible for the harmful compounds of smog.   What is smog?   Smog consists of sulfur oxides, nitrogen and carbon. In addition, solid substances such as suspended dust (PM). Dust suspend in atmospheric aerosols may be in liquid and solid form. These can be particles of sea salt, clouds from the Sahara and artificial compounds made by people. These compounds...
