And i dont mean that he said something hard to get. I mean that he just literally was speaking about nothing. But even thought he talked about nothing you couldnt stop listening to this person because the way of speaking was so great that it sounded like he knows a lot of the things that he is talking about. If you havent met that kind of person yet now you have an oportunity.

Yes, I liked it. Even it was wasting my time, I enjoyed the time. It may lead toward conclusion, that empty content makes me feel good, but I hope it isn’t one and only way to do that. I like valuable content as well, I promise, haha.
For sure these days we have more sources of information how to prepare better presentation. Behave of speaker is very important, numbers as well. The speaker in the video pointed issues which makes presentation more interesting and valuable. So maybe preparing presentation isn’t a pice of cake, but became more easy if we know the tips.

It is not a talent, but a set of strong crowd control skills. Obviously. it is prepared talk, the content of the message could be completely different, I believe he planned the emotion flow of the performance and then fulfilled it with correct words.

Indeed, the presented techniques can make anyone a better presenter and interlocutor.
I think he has prepared some points when talking about nothing. But the topic itself wasn't important when it comes to his presentation. The art of speech is not just the words but the way person can say them and express.

No and yes, the thing is that he has mastered the skill of proper way of giving presentations. I don't think anyone would fall asleep as he's speaking pretty loud, changing his voice tonation makes you pay attention.

It's always easy if you're talking about thing that you're interested in. The difficult part is when you have to prepare presentations about things that you're not interested in at all.
2. I have to admit that the guy's voice was good and I liked the way he spoke. I think, whatever he told, it would be nice to listen. Yet another thing is that he was simply funny and the whole presentation was entertaining.
3. I think that having enough knowledge it is not hard to prepare the presentations. If you have enough knowledge, you have to make a summary of the most important information, tell about it in an interesting way, and prepare some slides basing on some researches which confirm that what you say is true. The guy here had to do kind of reverse engineering because he had to make research on the presentations that were already given and later use it in his presentation.
I would say it is a mix of both of them. He knows perfecly what he is doing, how the speech works, how to get attention form the audience and he is using it to show that the topic is not important to make poeple listen to what you say.

Yes I do. I did enjoy the whole speech. I would say there was a hiden topic "how to make people listen to you even if you have nothing to say". It worked for me.

I think that it depends of the person. But I would not say it is very hard especially we have so many technics from what words to use, how to mimic and how to gesture to make your presentation better.

I was still trying to think about the topic of the presentation and he said if we turn off the sound it might seem like he is talking about some serious things, but in reality is nothing. Maybe he is talking about TedTalk talks in general.

I think it is hard, but especially it is hard to do it for big audience.
Honestly I think he did greatest presentation he talked about nothing but everyone was laughing and was into his presentation.
He was enjoyable to listen to. I think this is mostly a function of one's cadence and tone of voice. He speaks with passions and clear intent, and this command everyone's attention. The content of one's words is, in this task, secondary to the manner in which they are delivered.
This presentation didn't contain any pointers or tricks per se. However, one could certainly do well to attempt to replicate this man's cadence and manner of speaking and controlling the flow of a presentation. Delivery is crucial and oft overlooked.
I think that the ted talk is precisely prepared.

I think that presentations always has been, and always will be hard to prepare for a lot of people. It's hard for some, because not everybody likes talking in front of a big crowd. That ted talk can be used as an example of how to structure your presentation correctly, and how to keep your presantation entertaining.
I think it is both. It seems that this guy is prepared but also that he can think of new topics on the go. You need to be somehow prepared to present something for TEDtalk but definetely this guy has talent for talking about nothing. To speak so fluent about all these things (literally it is not "nothing") requires a lot of skill.

Yes I think he is a good entertainer. You can also see how people react. They laugh and they are definitely involved. They are also kind of focused on what he is talking about which not easy to achieve for anyone who is presenting something. If you think about it in other way it is a bit sad that by talking about so many not connected things gets more attention that talking about some very specific topic that is propably more important than the presented above.

I think it is quite hard and that might be unpopular opinion. Of course you have lot of tools to help you prepare presnetation (PowerPoint, knowledge in the internet etc.) but it is very hard to gain people attention. Multiple times when I was presenting something I saw people using their phones which was a bit sad. It was very hard to make them focus on the topic. There are many more distractions that gather around us than there were before.
I think it is a very well prepared presentation but it is possible that this man has a talent for talking about "nothing". The key is that it really gives the viewer a lot of valuable tips and advice on how to present something in an interesting way. Perhaps this is a talent since this is his first presentation. However, I think it is very good. It realizes that it is a universal method that will suit any subject and is a general guideline for the recipient.

The way he talks is interesting and inspiring even though he theoretically tells us "nothing". However, we can learn a lot from it, e.g. how to conduct a presentation in an interesting way. How to choose gestures, use additional materials such as photos, data and charts. An equally good way that he shows is by quoting an anecdote or using humorous phrases and behaviors that make the recipient not bored but simply have fun and remember the content of the presentation better. it is very nice to watch.

Nowadays, we have access to many sources and information. It is very easy for us to find interesting photos, videos, data or articles that will diversify our presentations. Technology also helps to make an interesting and inspiring presentation. However, for many people it is difficult. The main reason is stage fright or the way of speaking. The video shows how important it is to communicate properly. We can get more interest from the viewer by means of gestures, appearance or tone of voice. Even if we’re talking about nothing.

3. I agree. Some has natural skill to talk and present and others dont. In my case it even depends on the day.
Frankly, I have been researching quite extensively this "art". It's rhetoric. There are wonderful things you can do with it. It does seem so natural and so entertaining because it's simply well done. Yet, one can be prepared and still not be artificial. For my polish speaking friends reading this, I highly recommend watching a lecture given by Jerzy Bralczyk - "How to speak so you will be listened to?" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TG4ZAGnlPOY). It basically covers every single rhetorical mean used by the TED speaker.

I did enjoy this talk very much and - yes - I did enjoy listening to him. But I don't think that the reason is obvious. I was actively seeking to identify and understand the "tricks" he was using to keep the audience entertained. How he used tone modulation, how he changed the movement of his body. I was simply looking for means of communication that I learned about by watching the lecture I linked above.

I believe that presentations are easy-to-learn, but hard-to-master. Independent of whether a certain person likes or doesn't like public speaking. There are well-studied rules of communication defining what's effectice and what's not. One can learn and practice them. But it takes both hard work and talent to exceed at that. So, to summarise, I don't think it's hard to prepare (and give) a presentation these days. It's hard, however, to give a really good, memorable presentation there days.
Tips and tricks, if identified when used in the video, are a part of those well-studied and established rules of effective communication that I mentioned above. So yes, I believe that once you are able to identify them, you are more likely to give better presentations and, in general, communicate better.
I don't know if it's a talent but he does have some well-developed presentation skills and he is somehow funny.

For some people preparing a presentation is hard for them but this is a skill that most can develop by doing even though some people have a talent for it. For me, I think I don't have enough skills but some tricks in this video might help me, so, thanks for this.
