Week 5 [30.3-05.04.20] Welcome to the world of rhythmic gymnastics!

Have you ever heard of rhythmic gymnastics? Maybe there are a few people who can answer that question in the affirmative. Unfortunately, most people don't know this sport or confuse it with much more popular acrobatics, i.e. sports gymnastics. A popular question that gymnasts hear is whether they jump flips, which is completely incompatible with rhythmic gymnastics. I have trained gymnastics for many years of my life and I have many memories with it, so I would like to introduce you to the world of this beautiful sport.

Starting from a small historical introduction gymnastics is a new sport. It appeared in the form of erythema in the 1880s, which after many years at the beginning of the 20th century resulted in the first modern gymnastics school.  In the forties it appeared in the Soviet Union and since then the country has been treated as a Mecca for this sport.  Later in the following years this gymnastics was recognized by the gymnastics federations and in 1963 it appeared for the first time at the world championship and in '84 at the Olympic Games.

But what is this rhythmic gymnastics really about? It's a combination of gymnastics, ballet and dancing. At the same time, gymnasts must be very stretched, have a good balance to perform the right figures and also hear the music and have the right lightness, because the compositions are made to music.
It is a sport for girls only, but for a few years now the first male performances have been made. A competitor's career starts very early, because at the age of 4-5, then it doesn't make sense, because you have to develop your stretch from the youngest years. And unfortunately it ends at the age of about 25, because your spine often starts to have problems.
Gymnastics has two characteristics. The first one is heavily decorated, sequined and glittering costumes. There is no performance of a gymnast without a beautiful outfit and strong make-up. The second element is the utensils. Gymnasts make their combinations with the following utensils: jumper, ball, machete, ribbon and rings. With these utensils, they perform a few minutes' combinations on their own or in a group. But whatever I tell you, it's best to watch it by yourself.

2. What do you think about men training rhythmic gymnastics?
3. What is your favourite sport and why?

Comments

1. I've never been a fan of gymnastics, but I don't mind. I don't care about gymnastics. But I can understand if someone likes it, just as I understand someone who doesn't like football, boxing or tennis.

2. Quite normal, doing gymnastics makes you develop in other sports. If you are better stretched, you'll be able to move better, which is important in football, for example.
What's more, nowadays, when we spend 8 hours still at the desk, good stretching and gymnastics are crucial.

3. I like playing sport. It makes me forget about everyday problems, I can relax. I like sports that are difficult and require thinking. Tennis is such a sport, for example - where, in addition to strength, fitness and technique, an opponent's game analysis is required. The same can be said for football - it's not just kicking the ball, the one who deceives the opponent's defense wins.
1. I amazed how stretched are these women, the acrobatics look phenomenal and it is a good show for everyone.

2. I'm ok with that, when I was a kid I usually tried to make a flip or other trick with my body and I know how hard and pleasing it is. Unfortunately, I can't imagine a man jumping cheerfully with a ribbon :D.

3. My favorite sport is snowboarding thanks to the beautiful views, but I can't do it for longer than one month so i play basketball with my friends. I like this sport because only a few people are enough to play. Today it's hard for everyone to have a free time at the same day.

1. Watching movies, I saw something unusual, I liked these performances. Women are stretched, they are also synchronized. Unfortunately, when I think about the bodies of those women who have problems with their backs at the age of 25, I am terrified.

2. I don't see anything strange in it, it depends to each his own. Women also play sports typical of the opposite sex for example boxing.

3. My favourite sport is dancing. I love when every muscle moves during training to the rhythm of the music. Dance never bored me, because you can always change its style, so it's not a monotonous hobby.
1. I think sport, in this case gymnastics is really great. I am very surprised how these women are very stretchy and flexible. In addition, they are very well-coordinated and synchronous.

2. Sport like sport is available to everyone regardless of gender. Although I think women doing gymnastics are more attractive.

3. My favourite sport is swimming. I have been swimming since my childhood and I love to do it. I go to the pool regularly and train swimming. Swimming gives me peace and reduces stress. It is a pity that due to the coronavirus pandemic, all swimming pools are now closed. If only I had a bathtub, everything would look different haha :D

1. It’s not something that I’m interested in, but its undoubtfully impressive how gracious these women are. They look like they are floating through the air, as if they were weightless. Plus, it’s really impressive how flexible they are! So, I can see why some people are fascinated with that sport.

2. I don’t see any problem with it – it’s sport like any other. Nevertheless, considering the fact that women are usually more often predetermined to have flowy and gracious types of physique, I think it’s more eye pleasing to watch women do this kind of a sport. Seriously, can you imagine a grown-up man dancing with a ribbon or jumping through the hula hoop? :D

3. I do love mountain climbing and all sorts of climbing walls, but I don’t have muscles strong enough to withstand that for too long. That’s why I like to go somewhere hiking, as a form of compromise. I can enjoy beautiful views and do what I like without getting tired to death. I also like swimming. During summer I like to visit pool every other day and feel really good while doing it, but on the other hand I’m scared of seas and oceans so … :D
1. I have no opinion one way or the other. It is kind of pretty though. I admire those dedication that those put into the sport.
2. If they feel like it is for them, I see no issue with that. In our society they won’t get a lot of approvement.
3. My favorite sport is chess, because the game forces your mind instead of muscles and is much more unpredictable than any of a traditional sport.

1. What do you think of this sport, do you like it?
Yes, I like this kind of sport, as one of the most elegant sports. I know the most famous medalists. And I always watch rhythmic gymnastics competitions during the summer Olympic games. It is spectacular and very beautiful.

2. What do you think about men training rhythmic gymnastics?
I don`t mind it. I think that everyone can choose any sport that he wants to practice. But, to be honest, it’s hard for me personally to imagine men in rhythmic gymnastics. Perhaps this is my stereotype.

3. What is your favorite sport and why?
My favorite kind of sport is swimming. I like it just because I used to be involved in sports swimming all my childhood. And now I am visiting a swimming pool myself without a couch. I like water and I feel calm while swimming.

1. I'm not a fan of sport in general, but gymnastics is for sure one of the most beautiful ones. I'm really impressed with the way these women move and how streched and synchronized they are.

2. Well, gymnastics might not be the most "manly" sport I can imagine, but I don't see a reason why men should be discriminated. However, that would be quite funny to see a man playing with a ribbon or rings in one of those sequin embellished outfits.

3. As I've already said before, I'm not a fan of sport or being physically active in general, but when I was younger I would spend a lot of time swimming. Nowadays, I often promise myself that I will start over, but I'm too good at making excuses.
Bartosz Barnat said…
1. I don't really like this sport but I know that it is really challenging and hard to become great in it.

2. I don't see any problem with a guy training gymnastics. It's a sport for everyone and to be honest. I knew some guys that were really good at gymnastics and they were doing insane things. The control over their body is so astonguising for me.

3. Snowboarding, why? Because I love snow and the feeling that it gives us when sliding on dangerous mountain in really fresh powder. It's just amazing.
1. I find this sport a bit odd. First of all, there is no direct rivalry. Second thing is that scoring can be biased, because there is no way to easily measure the skills and performance as it is more like an art.

2. To be honest, I don't really care, but it is controversial for me. There are more male sports, but if somebody trains and likes it I don't have any objectives. Similar thing comes with pole dance. Even if a girl practice it, first associations in our mind are with clubs for adult people, while it is only a sport.

3. My favorite sport is cycling. I am rather an individualist and I like the freedom that is connected with this sport. You can go everywhere with an optimal speed for you. I think cycling became my love just because I did that since I was very young at it kind of got into my blood.
Pawel Bluszcz said…
1. Personally, I don't like this type of sports, although I've never been to such live performances. If I watched this sport live I could change my mind.

2. When it comes to men practicing this sport, I'm a bit sceptical. I would compare it to women's football - everything is ok, but something does not fit here.

3. My favorite sport is darts. It is an amazing sport full of competition, good atmosphere and sports spirit. On week 4 I had my presentation about darts and if someone has not read it then I encourage you to look at it.

1. What do you think of this sport, do you like it?
For me, the limit of normality is how a girl can make a twine or sternum from standing (100% natural movements that disappear at birth when you forget about your body). This sport requires many sacrifices and self-denial. Artistic gymnastics is a specific sport which usually starts very early. Therefore, it may seem that you are devoting your childhood.
2. What do you think about men training rhythmic gymnastics?
I think that just like women, men also devote their entire childhood to training. It makes no difference here.
3. What is your favourite sport and why?
My favorite discipline is canoeing. I love how people synchronize with each other. It looks great. It's wonderful to watch people hit the water surface with their oars, how they compete with each other. The second one is horseback riding, that's what I like most. I love looking at these wonderful odd-hoofed creatures, whatever they do. I'm learning myself, and I think the most beautiful thing in the world is to sit on a horseback
Adam Tokarczyk said…
1. It's very eye catching and appealing. It's clearly not for everyone though as it requires work from youngest years. I'm not sure a child will be always able to say it wants to do gymnastics and if picked at later age it's probably treated more like a hobby. When I was in primary school there were twins that practiced acrobatics and as far as I remember one of them abandoned it while we were still in that school. Second though moved to pole dance later and has quite a lot achievement in international scene. So there's quite a lot left in hands of parents, to send child on lessons and then it's still unknown whether it will like it or not.

2. It's weird. But it's a sport like any other so everyone can do it nevertheless. I doubt it will have any audience though and end up like many women competitions in men affiliated sports like football, where male teenagers team can beat female world champions... It's always better for our health to do any sport than nothing at all though I guess.

3. In terms of watching, when I was a kid I used to like box and football a lot. Later, when first TUF aired it changed for MMA for quite long time, but after it became popularized its quality fell a lot. Especially in Poland where we could consider KSW one of better European organizations, yet it decided to focus on making show instead of scheduling good fighters and I abandoned watching it. First in our backyard and later globally. Nowadays I rarely watch any sports, but if I do it's usually football. When it comes to participating in sports myself, it more or less coincides with above. Always loved to play football and was asking my parents to let me train any martial arts since early primary school. They never let me though and before I could decide about it by myself, my enthusiasm already long passed. Lately I've been mainly enjoying pool and squash so at the moment we could say those are my favorite.
1. I once watched this discipline at the Olympic Games. It seems to be a very demanding sport and it is sad that gymnasts end their careers so quickly.
2. It seems to me that this may be more difficult because of the different physique. However, everyone decides which sport they want to practice. This is analogous to women boxers or weightlifters.
3. My favourite sport is swimming. Despite the great effort that needs to be put in, I really like contact with water, which gives a feeling of relief. In addition, swimming strengthens many muscles and has a positive effect on body posture.

1. What do you think of this sport, do you like it?
On my personal opinion, gymnastics is very graceful and elegant kind of sport, which as any other sport requires a lot of efforts fro the one`s side and patience. I do like it and I adore watching tournaments, visually it is a very attractive, because of the decorations and costumes.
2. What do you think about men training rhythmic gymnastics?
I think that is a good idea and I think it should be equally popular among men and women, however not all countries have men’s rhythmic gymnastics. It is more common in European countries. Hopefully, in the coming years though, men’s rhythmic gymnastics will be more common with gender equality.
3. What is your favourite sport and why?
Personally, I like playing tennis. This is an individual kind of sport, so I do not depend on the team. In case of loss no one will blame me for it. That's the main reason why I like tennis. Playing this game, you can also develop some physical skills. Tennis helps me to relax and forget about some problems as I get immered into the game.

1.
The rules of the sports aren't the most interesting for me, but I'm impressed by the atheltes. To perform it at the Olympic level requires great coordination, flexibility and the ability to feel the music and express it.

2.
I have no strong opinion about that, I'm for equality, so why not.

3.
I like to play tennis, although I haven't played it for some time now. It is quite intense and difficult but I like the dynamics of the play.
1. What do you think of this sport, do you like it?
Yes, my girlfriend was training it, I was impressed when I saw the films of her shows. It is amazing, beautiful but it demands a lot of practice, sacrifice and self discipline. This is like all sports if you want to be the best you have to practice but especially here it can be dangerous for your life. It is just unhealthy.

2. What do you think about men training rhythmic gymnastics?
I think it is not a popular sport for men, I don’t know what I should say more about this, because it is free to train what you want. Basically there are sports which are more popular for one gender and the other one. It is normal.

3. What is your favourite sport and why?
My favorite sport is volleyball. I used to train a lot, it was about 10 years. I have played in one club, we had some successes but later I had an injury which cost me my sport career. Now I am playing volleyball just with my friends for fun, this is definitely my favorite sport.
1. What do you think of this sport, do you like it?
It looks very interesting, in my opinion gymnastics is a very difficult sport discipline, that's why people who practice this sport
they have a lot of respect and admiration for me.
2. What do you think about men training rhythmic gymnastics?
I guess there is no indication who plays the sport, whether it is a woman or a man. We probably should not categorize sports only for women or only for men.
I think it makes sense for men
3. What is your favourite sport and why?
I love dancing :)! I trained him for 12 years and that's why he is my favorite sport.
I have always trained under professional competitions and even had successes. I highly recommend this sport!
1. What do you think of this sport, do you like it?
It seems fine but I wouldn't spend time watching it. I would enjoy seeing this as a live event but I am more intrested in other sports.
2. What do you think about men training rhythmic gymnastics?
Perfectly normal. I don't see any sport to be more specific for some kind of gender. I find this really beautifull that there are so many people in this world doing so many different things.
3. What is your favourite sport and why?
Windsurfing. I am an instructor for 5 years and I'm surfing 8. It is just a feel of freedom beeing alone on open sea. It's like nothing else
1. What do you think of this sport, do you like it?
After watching a team performance i'm in shock. It was preety amazing. I really like it. The performance given by the girls, the mix with music and the cooperation between them is something amazing.

2. What do you think about men training rhythmic gymnastics?
Why not. Men are doing all sort of sport that are in my opinion simmilar to rythmic gymnastics as ice skating or regular gymnastics so why not allow them to do that.

3. What is your favourite sport and why?
I really like basketball and more and more i like climbing. Basketball because it require a lot of practice and team play and it is so much harder than it looks and seems to be. For example after 3 days of not playing with the ball you start to lose all of the skills and your performance is getting worese with every day of not playing with the ball. And climbing because it requires a lot of strength an balance and coordinations.

1. What do you think of this sport, do you like it?

I have never really enjoyed watching it to be honest, buy I have nothing against it. I understand that some people might find it enjoyable, and I fully support any kind of hobby connected with sports.

2. What do you think about men training rhythmic gymnastics?

Again, I have nothing against it. I do not find them being less "manly" or so. I doubt, however, if this is equally graceful as it is in case of woman training rhythmic gymnastics.

3. What is your favourite sport and why?

I won't be very unique here, it is football. It has been the most enjoyable sport for me since I started to walk. I spent enormous number of hours playing it. I enjoy watching it as well, especially when I see it live on stadium. This sport can be played literally everywhere, all you need is a ball, or ball-like object.
1. What do you think of this sport, do you like it?
I neither like nor dislike this sport I just don’t care about this sport and I don’t think or watch this
2. What do you think about men training rhythmic gymnastics?
I don’t think about this too much but well it doesn't look like a manly sport, but we have equal rights, and everyone can do whatever they want
3. What is your favourite sport and why?
It’s not exactly a sport but I like WWE it’s fun and entertaining I know that it is a little fake and winner is predetermined but this doesn’t change the facts that gives us a great spectacle that I like to watch.

I agree with you, stretching is very important, especially in a sedentary lifestyle.

I also love doing sport, I think it's a recipe for everything, there's no better feeling than endorphins after training.

I admire gymnasts very much, it's an amazing sport for me and I think it makes a slight impression on everyone.
There are videos on the Internet of men who practice gymnastics, so if you can not imagine, I recommend to watch it.
Wow, I admire you, I'm afraid of heights, so I can't imagine climbing the wall.
Angelika Dutt said…
Unfortunately, it does not treat chess as a sport, it is a mental game, but not a sport. Sport requires body movement, in my opinion.
Angelika Dutt said…
Me too! I like to watch artistic gymnastics at the summer Olympics and figure skating at the winter Olympics.
I agree with you, on the one hand I think that sport should be for everyone, and on the other hand I can't imagine guys practicing gymnastics.

Gymnastics has the advantage of being not only a sport, but also a great show and performance, which makes a great impression. I only have trouble imagining men in these outfits, a ring or other equipment is like normal equipment in other sports.

I'm surprised, very rarely does anyone not like this sport. But I appreciate that you realize the effort and dedication that it costs.

I admire it. I don't like winter and therefore winter sports.

It may seem like it's hard to judge in this sport at first sight. However, there is a specific formula and ways of evaluating gymnastic performances, from specific figures to their execution, as well as the whole form and artistic aesthetics.

I love cycling too, that feeling of air on your face and in your hair...
Angelika Dutt said…
I'm sure you must see such a live performance, it makes a huge impression!

Exactly, in sport, everyone should be equal, but something doesn't fit here.

I read the article, it was very interesting. :)

Of course, it depends very much on the parents, as in every aspect of a child's life, for it is they who decide about us as we are young. Nevertheless, I think it's worth signing up a child for some sport, I've never heard from my frinds that any of them regret it.

2 / I think that everyone can do these kinds of sports, and it looks just as beautiful and healthy. And I'm only for: D
3 / I like hockey and also sometimes watch football or volleyball matches.

1. What do you think of this sport, do you like it?

Yes, I like to watch artistic gymnastics. A lot of different cool competitions. In addition, you must be well athletic (stretched) to train just such a sport.

2. What do you think about men training rhythmic gymnastics?

Both men and women must put a lot of effort into this sport. I don't notice the gender difference here. Everyone must try to win. This sport develops all muscle groups. It's very hard.

3. What is your favourite sport and why?

My favorite sport is billiards. I like him very much. I like watching it but also playing if I have free time. Everyone likes some sport. Some chess and other bridge. Mine is billiards.

1. What do you think of this sport, do you like it?

It kind of is my domain of sports because I am a ballroom dancer. But for me, this sport requires much more flexibility, which in my case is not attracting me at all. I just prefer my sport that's all I can say.

2. What do you think about men training rhythmic gymnastics?

Well, I do not watch them and I don't need to watch them, so it does not bother me. If they like what they are doing and if it brings them joy, they should stick to that I guess.

3. What is your favourite sport and why?

As I mentioned before I do love ballroom dances. Especially the standard which are those classic dances like waltzes, tango, foxtrot and quickstep. And I like the sport because I like to dance and compete and it satisfies both needs at the same time and that is the basic form of my answer.

1. I think the beauty of its skewed. Nowadays gymnastics are in my opinion people without bones and their performances strongly insist on their unnatural flexibility. I like gymnastics with emphasis on agility rather than that.

2. In my opinion there is no such thing as unmanly activities. Of some man want to spend time on training this its cool. He can do what he likes.

3. I keen on swiming. But combined this with some standard gym is great. You can cleanse yourself from daily routine and troubles by throwing some dumbbells.

2. I think everyone should do something that suits them.
3. My favourite sport is yoga. It perfectly suits my lifestyle nowadays. It provides me peace, helps me to calm down my thoughts but also it strengthens my muscles and loosens me up after working long hours spent by the computer.

1. I've seen a documentary on it but it was pretty hard to watch. The girl in it (I think she was some kind of a world champion) was very mistreated by her trainer, so now I look at that sport a little bit differently. It looks very hard but also beautiful.

2. It's cool with me, to each their own! Maybe it looks pretty girly, but that sport is very hard and demanding. Just like ballet!

3.My favourite sport is biking and bouldering. I could not imagine my life without it. When I bike, I don't have to think about anything and commuting is much easier! Bouldering is actually quite hard and I haven't done it for a long time because of my hand injury but I'm looking forward to going back. Climbing is challenging but that's why it's fun :)
1. What do you think of this sport, do you like it?

To be honest i heard about this sport but i have never been on some tournament or even i didnt see how it looks. In my opinion it is quite interesting and it is pleasing to the eye.

2. What do you think about men training rhythmic gymnastics?

I think everyone can do whatever they want. If they like it so why they shouldnt do that. The same situation is on the viewers site. They don't have to watch this if they don't enjoy it.

3. What is your favourite sport and why?

When i was younger i loved to play soccer. I spent whole days on the football pitch. Right now i don't play anymore but still i love sport. More often i am training on the gym and in last days i really enjoy some martial arts. After the end of coronavirus probably i will start training brasilian Ju-Jitsu and Muay Thai.

1. What do you think of this sport, do you like it?
Yes, I like it, but it is not one of my favourite sports, anyway it is still a graceful sport, as a guy, I like one kind of "rhythmic gymnastics" more, it is call Tricking, here is one example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-HwvZ1-9RQ.

2. What do you think about men training rhythmic gymnastics?
I don't think it should have restriction between female and male training this sport, everyone can train as long as it is their hobby, just like guys can form a metal band, but girls can do it too, just search the poster of the movie "Metalhead".

3. What is your favourite sport and why?
It was Tricking as I mentioned above in the first question, because I like to challenge, but now I am too weak for it after being an IT guy...I need to train again as soon as possible after graduation...
Yes, I love this sport, because the athlete in this sport are very graceful. I like to watch old videos where Soviet athletes, for example Olga Korbut, do incredible things.

I think this is normal. I think the point is not that the athlete is a woman or a man, but in any case the main thing is to be a professional.

I don’t know, I can’t call myself a sports fan, but I watch football from time to time. I don't interested in sport at all, I tjink I am bit lazy for it. I do stretching sometimes when I feel that my bones are rusted

2. What do you think about men training rhythmic gymnastics?
There is nothing weird and different if it s woman or man. I don't see it. If someone likes this kind of sport? Everyone has different hobby no mater what.
3. What is your favourite sport and why?

I love winter sports! Even though I prefer summer in general because I love then it is sunny and hot ;) But yes, I keen on snowboarding, ice-skating. During summer I prefer cycling and rollerblading.

1. It's not bad. Maybe not the most interesting to watch, but it has esthetics. I personally don't like gymnastics and ballet, because it requires too much training for what exactly...? I didn't want to offend anyone.

2. It's wierd. As a man you should spend you time for something more useful... Also they have a questionable look when they perform.

3. My favorite sport to watch is box. Do I have to say anything more? I mean rich people put millions on stakes for one person making another person dumber by beating him on the head. What's not to love?

1. What do you think of this sport, do you like it?
Yes, I know that this is not a very simple sport. I am familiar with some gymnasts, and I have often heard how difficult this sport is. One of those where athletic skills intersect with creative skills. It is necessary to work hard in several directions. And of course to have a good physical shape. The most important reason why people like it is because this sport is very beautiful and graceful, in my opinion.

2. What do you think about men training rhythmic gymnastics?
Only good. This is their choice. If they like what they do and enjoy, they can be envious. I do not think that this is only a female sport. Therefore, I am very nice to the guys who are involved in this sport. They can be respected only because they have chosen not the easiest sport.

3. What is your favourite sport and why?
I always liked swimming and biathlon. Probably because I was engaged in these sports. Not professionally unfortunately but just for the soul, for myself. I did not fully engage in biathlon. I just love skiing. But the biathlon itself really captures me. Probably because since childhood I have been following the news from these areas.
1. I am not a fan of this kind of sport. Of course, I appreciate the skills and input of work and effort that you have to make to achieve a lot in this sport. It is quite pleasant to watch this sport, although if I had a choice I would probably prefer to watch something else.
2. I definitely associate gymnastics with women's sport. I also think that a woman doing various gymnastic exercises, movements looks much better, although maybe I think so because I'm a man.
3. I don't think I have a favorite sport. I like to watch all team sports such as football or volleyball and basketball. I personally like to ski and run. I like sport, relaxes me and puts me in a better mood.

1. What do you think of this sport, do you like it?
I stumpled upon videos of very similar thing but it was all dedicated to martial arts and I'm highly confident it was also from olympics. It was a bit more entertaining to me than videos you linked.
2. What do you think about men training rhythmic gymnastics?
Is that a tricky question? I don't mind and noone else should :) None of the sport should be dedicated just for one gender :)
3. What is your favourite sport and why?
I used to play a lot of baseball in my childhood as, for very uknown reasons to me, my primary school (in a small village!) had full-sized baseball field instead of football one. Swinging the bat is extremely satisfying. And as I throw with my left-hand then the most exciting spot on the field was mine - which is first base.

1. I’m not a big fan of such sports. I prefer team plays.
2. Vice versa Madame. What do you think about women training rhythmic gymnastics? ;) I'm not really into splitting sports into those for men and those for women. If someone wants to train gymnastics, let him/her.
3. Football. I used to play football club when I was younger. I appreciate the adrenaline and team-competitions.

1. What do you think of this sport, do you like it?

I have never been a fan of this sport but I am aware that there are people who are crazy about it. Besides, it must take a lot of time, practice and dedication to be really good at it.

2. What do you think about men training rhythmic gymnastics?

I don’t mind that. If that is what they like and enjoy doing then I have nothing to say, really.

3. What is your favourite sport and why?

I generally like any kind of motorsport as I am a car guy. If I were to choose a favorite one right now, I’d say that Touring Car Championship as the races are generally exciting and a full contact is allowed, unlike in other divisions.
1. yes I really like sport. I think that everyone should find something for themselves and do it regularly because it improves mood and health.
2. I think men who do gymnastics can do it like any other sport. It doesn't matter who does what sport if he enjoys it, it's important that he does it.
3. my favorite sport is running, I like that because I can go out and run at any time and during this listen music that I like
1. What do you think of this sport, do you like it?

I have to admit that this sport is much more enjoyable to watch than a regular gymnastics. Dancing factor makes it pleasing and the gymnastic factor makes me drop my jaw. I can only imagine how many years does it take to obtain such skills.

2. What do you think about men training rhythmic gymnastics?

Those men are surely well trained and there is no reason not to admit that. The effort and dediction it requires is underwhelming. Those are not very masculine guys in my opinion but maybe that's because of how good they look.

3. What is your favourite sport and why?

I don't have a particular favourite sport but I surely like to watch fight sports and football. Due to the fact that I am not a sport freak I only get pumped when it comes to a very big events like world/Europe championship or huge fights like Fury vs Wilder. What I like about football is this feeling of unity in people for this one moment and when it comes to fight sports, well there is no other genre of sport which has so much of a rivalry in it.

1. What do you think of this sport, do you like it?
I like dance and rhythmic, astonishing systems with utensils, but too elastic body moves scare me a bit.

2. What do you think about men training rhythmic gymnastics?
I've just watch some performances (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OIn_bEWXQGo) and they were very, very good.

3. What is your favourite sport and why?
I don't have a favourite sport, but some disciplines I like more because of characters of players. I like to play volleyball and football.
I don't like the sport in the text. I admire the dedication of the people training him, but in my opinion such people sacrifice life and health so that people can watch someone doing something funny / impossible. Such a human circus. However, many acrobatics are amazing.
It seems to me that the stereotype of female gymnasts is due to women's strengths. Guys and women can train what they like.
I don't have a favorite sport. Well, unless chess is a sport discipline: P

2. What do you think about men training rhythmic gymnastics?

I guess they can't be as stretched as women.

3. What is your favourite sport and why?
I like to run . And gym.
Why I like to run? Becouse of Runner's High:)
The gym taught me that perseverance and regularity bring results. It can be successfully transferred to any other field

1. I'm always amazed by people that can do such an amazing things with their bodies. Personally, I wouldn't enjoy watching this sport for a lot of hours, but few minutes from time to time won't hurt.

2. If they enjoy doing it, then I don't really care if it's a woman or a man training this sport.

3. I don't have favourite sport right now as they kinda bore me, but few years ago I was obsessed with football. I can't really explain why I loved it so much, but it was really fun and popular, so I could find a lot of people to play it with.
1. What do you think of this sport, do you like it?
I don't usually watch this sport, but it's very aesthetic. They are also inspiring to do at least a little bit of stretching.
2. What do you think about men training rhythmic gymnastics?
I think that gender it's not a factor in determining if someone can train some sport. However, I think that men should compete with men, and it should be determined by gender at birth time.
3. What is your favorite sport and why?
I love skiing. I trained it for a long time. Skiing is really calming, and requires focus and commitment, especially on the slalom. Winter is also great, and you can really get to like the cold.

1.Personally, I don't like this type of sport. However, I think that every kind of sport, no matter what discipline it is, is simply good for health and that is the most important.

2.I have no problem with men training rhythmic gymnastics. It is an individual matter what kind of sport will interest you and if you enjoy it, you should do it.

3. My favorite sport is e-sport. I'm interested in games, I spend many hours at the computer so I often watch e-sport games, where you can relax and rest. Besides, I also like boxing sports.

Week 12 (12.01-18.01.15) Are you an early bird or a night owl ?

Owls are nocturnal creatures. They’re wide awake at night and they sleep during the day. If this sounds like bliss to you, then, like about 20 percent of the population who find themselves most active at around 9 pm, you may fall into the same category as our feathered friend. Night owls often have difficulty waking up in the morning, and like to be up late at night.  Studies of animal behaviour indicate that being a night owl may actually be built into some people’s genes. This would explain why those late-to-bed, late-to-rise people find it so difficult to change their behaviour. The trouble for night owls is that they just have to be at places such as work and school far too early. This is when the alarm clock becomes the night owl’s most important survival tool. Experts say that one way for a night owl to beat their dependence on their alarm clocks is to sleep with the curtains open. The Theory is that if they do so, the morning sunlight will awaken them gently and natura...

Week 11 [03-09.06.2019] The problem with ecological cars emission in UK

The problem with ecological cars emission in UK Since the adoption of the European Emission Allowance Directive in the European Parliament, all car makers have tried to submit. Since 1992, the Euro I standard has been in force, which limited the emission of carbon monoxide to the atmosphere. The Euro VI standard currently applies, which limits the series of exhaust gases. These include: hydrocarbons, nitrogen and carbon oxides, and dust.   The most significant change was brought by the Euro IV standard. For the first time it introduced the limitation of nitrogen oxides, which are responsible for the harmful compounds of smog.   What is smog?   Smog consists of sulfur oxides, nitrogen and carbon. In addition, solid substances such as suspended dust (PM). Dust suspend in atmospheric aerosols may be in liquid and solid form. These can be particles of sea salt, clouds from the Sahara and artificial compounds made by people. These compounds...
