Week 12 [18.06-24.06.2018] Which Countries Sell Citizenship?

Citizenship is a status of a person recognized under the custom or a law as being a member of a nation. If your country allows duel-citizenship you may consider getting another one. Different countries have various ways in which you can acquire their citizenship. For a lot of them it is a factor of time spent in its territory and knowledge of its culture. For some it’s just as simple as buying a property. Depending on a country however it may be a very expensive one. For a few there’s no other way to acquire it other than by direct inheritance. Find out into which countries people can buy their way in and why they do it.

Questions:
1. Would you like to emigrate and why? If yes, temporarily or perhaps permanently and where?
2. What do you think about the process of acquiring citizenship? How hard should it be? What should be the requirements?
3. Would you like to have more than one citizenship? Why?

Definitely i would like to emigrate. I don't exactly know what country it would be, but i prefer english speaking countries. I don't want to waste my life living in a one place, i'd like to have 3 or maybe 8 "homes". When i'm thinking about the process of acquiring citizenship i know that every country has own rules and terms. In my opinion if you have money, you can buy citizenship. I hope that one day i will have as many citizenships as i want.

From 3 to 8 places you would call home. That’s impressive and ambitious. To me two would be already something. Good luck I guess.

My opinion is that after the climate change that has happened all over the world, many immigration have been made. All human beings like to live in a place where security and peace of mind work and live. This is the right of all people.
In my opinion, the process of getting citizenship in countries is getting harder and more complex every year. Only those who have a lot of money can easily get citizenship and residence of another country with the least time and least problems.
It is not important to have the civility of several countries. It is important that we serve society, live in society, serve to their people, respect the people of that country, participate in benevolent volunteering and play a role in improving the quality of the country Where we live.

I don't know if I will ever decide to leave my country forever - I have made wonderful friendships here, my whole family lives here and I'm used to the culture and customs of Poland. That being said, I like to travel and if I will have a chance to move somewhere else for a couple of months then maybe I'll give it a shot.
When it comes to the citizenship - I don't know how hard is it to get one in Poland, but I guess that if someone has a good reason for it - for example they want to move here, then why shouldn't they be granted one?

1. I have already emigrated to Poland, because in my country there is an unstable economic and social situation. Certainly permanent, I do not have the opportunity to return to my country.
2. To obtain citizenship in Poland, you need to live in Poland for more than 10 years, speak Polish fluently and relate to Polish culture. An easy way to obtain citizenship is simple.
3. I would not like to have more than one citizenship, because as for me, even if the country of which I was a citizen would allow me to have two nationalities, the countries that I would visit could not understand this and I would have problems at the legislative level.

I would like to live for some time in the USA. Some time ago I wanted to go to „work and travel” but I didn't do this. It seems to me that Thailand is good for living. When it comes to Europe, no country is attractive for me. I have no opinion on length of process of giving citizenship. I have never needed a second citizenship but I think it's better to have two than one

1. Would you like to emigrate and why? If yes, temporarily or perhaps permanently and where?
I think I'm already emigrated to Poland, because I was looking for more comfort, stability, and safety :) But there is so much places in the world where conditions could be more appropriate for me or maybe not.

2. What do you think about the process of acquiring citizenship? How hard should it be? What should be the requirements?
I think that citizenship is a old and very broke mechanism, for example I don't want to dedicate the one year of life to army, just because I was born in country with such stupid rules. Or every time I need to travel Britain, Japan and much much more countries I need to make Visa, and do a lot of paperwork, just because of citizenship. I rather be apatride, but some way they have even less rights.

3. Would you like to have more than one citizenship? Why?
As the Ukrainian I cannot have more than 1 citizenship, but if conditions will be appropriate for me, I definitely can switch citizenship.
I would like to emigrate because my country is currently an economic disaster riddled with corruption at the state of war with no one knows who. I hope that such turbulent activities in my country will cease one day and i could return safely, thus i am not looking for permanent emigration. My perspective is a little bit biased but i would like for citizenship to be easily acquarable =3 But in reality a country needs to be very specific with rules and limitations for giving a citizenship, because unresposible citizenship policy can lead to problems in a country. I would like to have citizenship of planet Earth.

I have already experienced emigration and living in another country for three and half years. At this moment I prefer to stay and live in my own country. I want to be close to my family and friends.

I think that if someone would like to change their citizenship, it shouldn’t be too complicated. I think that giving a good reason of change, knowledge of the culture, history and language of a given country would be enough.

I would like to have the citizenship of a country that is in the European Union or another country, such as the USA, to move freely around the world, not pay for Visas and not be able to stand in long queues at the border.

I've already in emigration and I don't want to stop. I'd like to live at least a year in a few different countries before I decide where to stay permanently. Usually, this process holds on a big amount of years that you have to live and pay taxes inside of the country you want to live. I'd like to have the citizenship that will allow me to travel everywhere I want without any visas and borders.

I would like to emigrate but for now I don't know which country. Well, it is always hard but if you are interesting for this country you can make it easier to acquire citizenship. I can't have more then one citizenship, so for that I should abandon previous one,

1. Would you like to emigrate and why? If yes, temporarily or perhaps permanently and where?
Yes but not for lifetime, 3-4 years max just to earn money. I'm thinking about Switzerland - terribly high wages or USA cause I am absolutely in love with this country, lifestyle, people etc. but it's very hard to get work permit in US.
2. What do you think about the process of acquiring citizenship? How hard should it be? What should be the requirements?
I think Poland should tighten procedures... They should check certificate of no criminal record and of course language test.
3. Would you like to have more than one citizenship? Why?
Yes, because if you are smart it's much easier to run the business.

In the age of information long distance communication with your family and friends is much easier but yeah still leaving more than few hours flight away from your family might be tougher for some.
Unknown said…
What would be the problems? You usually enter country on the passport of your choosing. I know only about US requiring its citizens living abroad to pay taxes which is definitely annoying.
Unknown said…
USA is interesting choice. For me, it’s not appealing. I heard so many bad things about US that I would actually prefer Poland as weird as it may be. But I guess it all comes down to personal preferences.
Unknown said…
Well it’s quite often that certain rules in society require attachment of privileges and responsibilities to its members in some way. I don’t think that concept of citizenship can be discarded anytime soon.

I would also like Switzerland but more so for its stunning scenery than economic benefits. Although it’s also important.
Yes, I would like to try something new - new country, new sceneries, new landscapes, new nature, new mountains , new country, new people, new mentality. I would like to change as much as possible just to show the whole another life. I really hate when I get used to something, my mind stops thinking and trying something new. It just does every movement adherently and doesn't even try to invent or feel something else.

To my mind the process of acquiring the citizenship should not be complicated. It should just consider's person past and number of time this particular person spent in the country. Probably level of language should also be taken into consideration.

I would like to have every single one to be able to travel in each country I want without spending much time in order to get all "necessary papers".
Since I am a foreign student, I understand immigrants very well. There are various reasons for immigration. Sometimes you want development and your country cant give you this. Sometimes just a stable and better life. I do not know whether I want to stay here or in another country forever. Life is too long to think so far. The process of acquiring citizenship is always difficult, but it's fair. If the conditions were easy, then every foreigner would receive another's citizenship.
To have more than one citizenship is convenient. It means that you have more choice and more opportunities.

I would like ti immigrate to the country where I can feel myself safe enough and where government doesn't try to rape me(as in Ukraine).
I would like to have more than one citizenship to have more abilities.
I want and probably will leave Poland for good once opportunity arrives. If it came to this i would probably choose an English speaking country US,Canada maybe UK (im not really fond of going to Australia mate). If not then probably Asia ? Japan or South Korea. Why well if i want to be good at my job i cant really let myself be obstructed by third world country like systems that are set in Poland especially Electronic and Trade wise.
If i cant work with the most recent hardware what kind of specialist im ? And when it comes to Poland we re always left off or restricted from having latest hardware.
I mean getting a citizenship should not be hard i consider having a home (flat) and having a job enough, also paying taxes in the place u work in.

I thought about that, but I think that I'm living in the best place for me. Of course it is hard to live in Poland, but I like challenges :D

2. What do you think about the process of acquiring citizenship? How hard should it be? What should be the requirements?

I think it should be hard, beacuse there a lot of culture differences. Some people can't just change their lifestyle and become someone else in a month or two, so someone should check if they can asimilate properly with the society.

3. Would you like to have more than one citizenship? Why?

No, I'm fine with my situation
Canada sells everything: Citizenship, real estate, mines, oil, forests,...(China beside buying mines, brings their own workers)
If you are from China or India, Canada will even take care of your old parents, too. (Or if you belong to some large minority and politicians can get enough votes from your people. That's why Europeans don count, their old farts are a burden on Society.)

I am already an emigrant. This is not an easy road, but I like to change places and I can't imagine staying in one place for the whole life. I know that to get the citizenship in Poland is not too easy, but also not so hard. I have being living here for 5 years, and there a few more years have left to get it, but nobody knows what could change in my plans. As long as I can stay here I don't really strive to get that citizenship. Of course, life would be easier, but still it is not such a big problem.

I don't want to emigrate. I like Poland and living there. I have well-paid job and I have everything what I want. Nowadays, when Western Europe is very dangerous I feel really safe in my place.
Second question? I think that people should have time for acclimation. It depends on people who are in new place. About citizenship? I think that person who want that document should have ancestors in this country.
I don't want to have more than one citizenship. I'm Polish and it's good for me. One citizenship is enough.

1. Would you like to emigrate and why? If yes, temporarily or perhaps permanently and where?
I think I will, but just temporarily to explore world, to meet new people and observe their behaviour. It makes you open-minded and more creative

2. What do you think about the process of acquiring citizenship? How hard should it be? What should be the requirements?
I think that the process od acquiring citizenship shouldn't be easy but also it shouldn't be unreachable. People should respect culture and be able to communicate clearly.

3. Would you like to have more than one citizenship? Why?
I don't think so, I don't see actually any sense of doing it and I would only do it if it gave me a lot of opportunities like cheaper country to country travel etc.

I'd love to emigrate to Japan! I've been there once and instantly I loved this place.
For now maybe temporarily ;).

2. What do you think about the process of acquiring citizenship? How hard should it be? What should be the requirements?
You know. It shouldn't be unreachable, but on the other hand - not that easy. You have to accomplish requirements given by the country you want to emigrate to.

3. Would you like to have more than one citizenship? Why?
If it'll be needed, then why not. But I don't think, that is necessary.

I would choose Israel because its the only country that permitted the extradition of Israeli citizens.

2. What do you think about the process of acquiring citizenship? How hard should it be? What should be the requirements?
It depends on wealth of a country. The poorer country is, the easier it is to acquire citizenship.

3. Would you like to have more than one citizenship? Why?
Yes! If i had committed a crime but had not been caught already, I would escape to other country.

I will definitely emigrate if I could. I would like to make money in countries such as Germany or Switzerland. Make a new company which makes money for me and from time to time I would have to go to that country or just work from my home and live here in Poland. For sure I would have to know the language if I had to start company. Acquiring citizenship should not be so hard. For example if live in country for about 10 years, I know the language, pay taxes or have my own company I should get citizenship. I would love having a second citizenship. Travelling would be much easier because I would not have to have visa for countries like USA. I will definitely emigrate if I could. Week 11 [03-09.06.2019] The problem with ecological cars emission in UK

The problem with ecological cars emission in UK Since the adoption of the European Emission Allowance Directive in the European Parliament, all car makers have tried to submit. Since 1992, the Euro I standard has been in force, which limited the emission of carbon monoxide to the atmosphere. The Euro VI standard currently applies, which limits the series of exhaust gases. These include: hydrocarbons, nitrogen and carbon oxides, and dust.   The most significant change was brought by the Euro IV standard. For the first time it introduced the limitation of nitrogen oxides, which are responsible for the harmful compounds of smog.   What is smog?   Smog consists of sulfur oxides, nitrogen and carbon. In addition, solid substances such as suspended dust (PM). Dust suspend in atmospheric aerosols may be in liquid and solid form. These can be particles of sea salt, clouds from the Sahara and artificial compounds made by people. These compounds often come fr
