Week 12 [22-28.01.2018] Piff the magic dragon

All of us have watched or heard about those talent shows: "America's got talent", "Britain's got talent" and so on. This video is about first audition of Piff the Magic Dragon on TV show "America's got Talent". He's a magician from Las Vegas, Nevada. He is very serious person,  the same as his magic tricks. He always wears a realistic costume of dragon when he performs. Sometimes it's hard to realize that it's just human and not a dragon.

Did you like the way he shows magic tricks?
Have you ever heard about Piff the Magic Dragon before?
Do you want to buy the same table as he has?
Will you watch his other performances?

I have never heard about "Piff the Megic dragon", but it's really funny video :)
And I would have bought the same table as he has, but only if I will be a magician and wanna show magic tricks. But, magic is not true, this is show business, an illusion. Thank you for your post, and now, I will know who is the "Piff the magic dragon " :)

Wow, he's so adorable, he's such a good actor. I haven't seen an American version of this show. But it's cool. Thank you for the funny video, this is what I needed this evening.
I haven't seen Piff before. Did he win the show?
Yes, maybe I'll watch his other performances. I already see that Youtube recommends me some other videos with him.
So, I will vote for your presentation as the best one :)

Well the magic is not excited but the sense of humor absolutely great! Enjoyed the show for real and even watched a few more. I would saw my path into magic started with the videos of David Blaine that we watched in school.

Unfortunately no, he didn't win. The other guy, Paul Zerdin, won. But it's a competition and only one could win, so it was fair.
Thank you, I'm very glad that you liked this video.

I'm agree with you. The main advantage of Piff is his sense of humor. I'm very happy that you enjoyed it.

I think he is more of a comedian than magician, the trick he showed was not that impressive, just another magic trick with cards. But I enjoyed watching this video, he is very good showman, I admire his self-confidence and the ease with which he catches the contact with the audience. I think also that his costume and name make him original and more recognisable than other comedians/magicians.

I have never heard about Piff the Magic Dragon. His magic show tricks are nothing special but I think that he has good character and idea for himself. I don't like magicians but he differs from others. I think he found way to become famous.

He is a good entertainer and comedian. The magic card bending trick seemed almost just an excuse for the delivery of his deadpan humour. He had an excellent idea with the costume, which makes him stand out. I also like that he used his relatively short height to his benefit.

I know him, because he worked with Penn & Teller and I used to watch their show. Penn & Teller gave him an opportunity to be exposed to a larger audience. They are also his fans:

and when it comes to comedy with magic there is no bigger name in showbiz than Penn & Teller.

I have already ordered his magic table and I will take it to the approaching exam session.

“Piff the Magic Dragon” is awesome! I used to watch him some time ago and laughed pretty hard to such an extent that I actually watched all of his performances. I really like his magic tricks, they are clever and at the same time hilarious. I will definitely watch his future shows!

I have never heard about the Magic Dragon but this show was very enjoying for me. I don't want to be a magician so I don't need such a table. ;) Probably I won't watch more his performances because I will forget about this but still thank you for this video - it was funny and it was not waste of my time. :)

he looked a bit self-confident but the way he behaved helped him to win their hearts.

i am not really intersted in such entertainment

I like "Mam talent" tv show which is polish version of "America's got talent". I have never heard about the Magic Dragon but it's amusing video. Magic tricks are very interesting and even if it was anything excited I want to watch his other performances. He knows how to make a good show and that is the most important for me!
I am very sorry, but my answer for only one question is “yes” – this one about the table, as interesting furniture. Personally, I don’t like such performances. I admire, how clever and hardworking he is, but it simply doesn’t give me a pleasure to watch this. Maybe this is because I don’t believe in “magic” tricks and I consider them as some kind of cheating the audience. Of course, if people want to be cheated and enjoy such kind of spectacles, that’s fine for them.
I mean, it is funny, and inspiring, but if I could choose, I’d rather to watch something else than Piff the Magic Dragon. Sorry!
Maybe, if he concentrated on his comic skills, it would be interesting for me, because as comedian, he is nice to watch. But for me, his “image” disturbs, sorry once again.

I've never heard of "Piff the Magic Dragon" ever before. The reason behind it may be that I just don't enjoy magic performers that much after all.
I can't say that I was amazed or surprised by his magic trick, but I kind of enjoyed the way he was doing it. It didn't seem natural at all times, but I think it was pretty funny to see someone behave like that in front of the whole audience judging everything he was doing.
I don't think that there is anything useful or particular in the table that he has, so I guess that I won't ever need anything like that.
I also don't really think that I will watch any of his other performances as I have a lot of other, more important stuff to do at all times.
Frankly speaking, I don't like magic tricks and magitians at all. This one looks funny, but the tricks are no more than just well-planned action. I have never seen 'Piff the Magic Dragon' before, as I am not into it. I have watched some movies about illusionists, and most of all I enjoyed the way they planned their tricks, which proves there is nothing but a good strategy behind it. No, the table is not interesting to me at all. I would generally prefer to read a book than watching such shows.

Yes, I do love stand-up, and that’s basically what he’s performing. I’ve never heard about Piff before, but now I’ve seen a few of his performances cause I like the comedy in what he’s doing. The tricks are, for lack of a better word, crap, but the show is amazing. The „table” is cool, I like the nonchalant way he unfolds it. I would not buy it though, I mean, I’m no magic dragon!
Great act. It's a nice thing that that keep investing in this type of shows. Obviously because it gives people entertainment, but even more importantly, because it allows some pretty crazy and talented people to present themselves on TV. And even if they don't win, they might get enough exposure to really kick-start their show-business career.

Did you like the way he shows magic tricks
I indeed like his way of performance, his manner is so funny. He is very good performers.
Have you ever heard about Piff the Magic Dragon before?
Yes, I watched him before, and I was very immersed.
Do you want to buy the same table as he has?
No, for me that table is useless. Or maybe I could use it as a mobile desk for my computer at work.
Will you watch his other performances?
I already do just before I started to write this comment.

He has great performances, especially the second and fourth - although I've never heard of him before. By the way, this is a good topic for the presentation at the end of the semester, we all really would like to relax from the bustle and just have fun :)

I like the way he shows magic tricks. It is unusual. Those copperfields like magician are usually do it same way. I haven't heard about Piff the Magic. I will certainly watch his other performances.
I like his performance, his sense of humour is just awesome. I've never heard of that guy before, but that's not unusual considering he's performing only in the US. I wonder what other magical tricks he's capable of doing.
Am I the only one that noticed that when piff was shuffling through the cards, and Heidi touched one he then flipped the deck over, using the bottom card and therefore making Heidi's selection meaningless because he was always going to use the bottom card?
I love the way he shows the magic tricks. Unfortunately, I have never heard of "Piff the Megic dragon" before. I would certainly buy such a table. Thanks for the post and great video.

Did you like the way he shows magic tricks?
Not only the magic tricks but his attitude - the guy is confident, do not show none sign of stress and he is really funny - loved watching it.
Have you ever heard about Piff the Magic Dragon before?
Never.
Do you want to buy the same table as he has?
Nope.
Will you watch his other performances?
After watching that - YES !
I enjoy the way he shows magic tricks- I belive that he is a real magic dragon, not just a random guy dressed up like a dragon.
Yes, I saw a few of his performances some time ago.
The table was great but I dont need it.
You make me want to watch all of his performances!

I adore this kind of humor, so I was glad to get to know about that guy. Thanks to your presentation. I would love to watch his other videos, because it really made me laugh and made my day. And I liked the trick. Though it seems to me, that he doesn't even need to be a magician, he could become I great comedian, or an actor. It's really interesting, what is gonna happen with his career.
The way he shows magic tricks is very amusing and is definitely different from how other magicians do it. He has unique style and sense of humor, which creates a good first impression. However the trick itself may be a little more sophisticated and difficult. In addition, eating on the stage in front of the judges is not the best thing to do if you want to stay in the show and work for the victory.
I haven't heard about Piff the magic dragon before, partly because I am not a big fan of magicians. I also rarely watch talents show and TV in general. I think he is well known to an inner circle of magic-lovers in Las Vegas. This city is famous for people with crazy ideas.
I must say that I did not pay attention at first at his table. Having watched the performance again, I noticed that it is an interesting thing. I think that I would not go looking for the exactly same table, but if someone offer me one, I won't refuse. It would be a useful thing to have when throwing a party.
Speaking the truth, I probably won't watch Piff's other performances, as his trick are not that difficult and eye- catching. I usually try to think and get the core of how magicians do their tricks, but such thought did not occur to me after watching Piff the magic dragon.
I have never seen "Piff the magic Dragon" before and i really enjoyed watching it. I agree with jury, this guys i really good actor and i would love to see more of his shows. I really like magic tricks in general so that might be the reason why i liked this video a lot.

I enjoy the way he shows magic tricks, but I've never heard about him nor have I seen his performances. I liked the table, but I just don't need it. After this show I will definitely see his other performances!
Yes i have both heard and watched Piffs shows before. I was caught by a surprise when he showed up on Got Talent at first then i started appreciating his style.

I dont think i need table like his in near future, but i dig his costume:p

For those who dig the "alternative" entertainment styles i would recommend watching the Tape Guy performances as well.

I haven't seen him before but I really enjoyed the video and would like to see more of him. There's something intriguing about his persona and I'm a huge fan of "magic" tricks. I wouldn't want to buy the table though. I'm not and have never been good at tricks. It would be a waste of money.

His performance was very fun! I really like it! Unfortunately I haven't heard about him before. Dynamo is the only magic I have ever heard. He is probably the most popular.
His table is cool but it is not for me... I'm going to see his other performances tonight. His way of being made me laugh!

No, why would I? :D There a lot of better looking tables on the market.
Probably not, as I will forget his name tomorrow :D

Week 11 [03-09.06.2019] The problem with ecological cars emission in UK

The problem with ecological cars emission in UK Since the adoption of the European Emission Allowance Directive in the European Parliament, all car makers have tried to submit. Since 1992, the Euro I standard has been in force, which limited the emission of carbon monoxide to the atmosphere. The Euro VI standard currently applies, which limits the series of exhaust gases. These include: hydrocarbons, nitrogen and carbon oxides, and dust.   The most significant change was brought by the Euro IV standard. For the first time it introduced the limitation of nitrogen oxides, which are responsible for the harmful compounds of smog.   What is smog?   Smog consists of sulfur oxides, nitrogen and carbon. In addition, solid substances such as suspended dust (PM). Dust suspend in atmospheric aerosols may be in liquid and solid form. These can be particles of sea salt, clouds from the Sahara and artificial compounds made by people. These compounds often come fr

Week 12 (12.01-18.01.15) Are you an early bird or a night owl ?

Owls are nocturnal creatures. They’re wide awake at night and they sleep during the day. If this sounds like bliss to you, then, like about 20 percent of the population who find themselves most active at around 9 pm, you may fall into the same category as our feathered friend. Night owls often have difficulty waking up in the morning, and like to be up late at night.  Studies of animal behaviour indicate that being a night owl may actually be built into some people’s genes. This would explain why those late-to-bed, late-to-rise people find it so difficult to change their behaviour. The trouble for night owls is that they just have to be at places such as work and school far too early. This is when the alarm clock becomes the night owl’s most important survival tool. Experts say that one way for a night owl to beat their dependence on their alarm clocks is to sleep with the curtains open. The Theory is that if they do so, the morning sunlight will awaken them gently and naturally.
