1. Do you often experience sensory specific satiety? Or are you the type of person who when is full, is full, no matter what other food is available.
I am definitely a person who tries not to eat everything and is forced. Just food doesn't impress me and it doesn't tempt me that much. I eat when I'm hungry.

2. Do you eat desserts after dinners?
I don't eat dessert until dinner. I often eat sweets between meals. This can be treated as a dessert after each meal. I just love sweets and I couldn't live without them.

3. Is it possible for you to not overeat in Christmas season?
I definitely don't overeat for the holidays. I prefer to go ice skating or play board games with my family instead of sitting at the table and eating. I think we eat to live, and we don't live for food. This is not my favorite food. I try to eat a bit during the day. This also applies to the holidays.

I'm the type of person who don't overeat, it happens when I visit my grandma though :)

2. Do you eat desserts after dinners?
Not so often, only occasionally when I go out with my friends to eat to a restaurant.

3. Is it possible for you to not overeat in Christmas season?
Yes, I always eat rationally. Christmas dinner is great tradition but we shouldn't prepare too much food to prevent food waste and also not overeat what is better for your health.

Yes, unfortunately I tend to eat until I feel completely full. I sometimes have an impression that I will get hungry no later than 30 minutes after the meal if I do not feel that way.

2. Do you eat desserts after dinners?

I do not have this kind of habbit. I generally like sweets and this sort of unhealthy food but I just eat them when I really want to, which is not that often.

3. Is it possible for you to not overeat in Christmas season?

When it comes to Christmas there are no eating borders for me but I think my organism is already accustomed to those 3 days at the end of the year after all these years.

I'm a type of person who has an unlimited stomach storage. I'm really skinny but I can eat a lot what often surprises people. I like eating and there was a time when I used to eat so much that I couldn't move anymore.. But now I try to eat much much less food as I always felt so bad, full and unhealthy after a dinner. Now I eat just enough to not be hungry.

2. Do you eat desserts after dinners?
I don't eat desserts after dinners except when I'm eating out, for example in restaurant or during some family event.

3. Is it possible for you to not overeat in Christmas season?
For me it's not possible and I always regret eating too much😅
The biggest killer for me is Karp as we eat it only once during whole year. I love it, so I always tend to eat it too much.

1. I would say I experince that feeling almost everyday. I really love food, but I enjoy each meal in a different way, for example I prefer sweet thing to salty ones, so If I finish some regular dinner like eg. meat and veggies and I feel full but I know there is some cake in the fridge I will always have a room in my stomach for it.

2. Yes, I always do. I love sweets and I couldn’t stand not having a dessert right after balanced meal.

3. No, actually I don’t think it’s possible for me at all. In Christmas season there are so many tasty things, my mum always prepare some specific Christmas treats and dishes, which I just can’t forgo to eat, she is a great cook. Due to that Christmas season is only once a year, I don’t consider overeating Christmas as a sin.

1. Many times I feel like I'm full after eating something but after several minutes I can eat another big meal. Then I can say that I'm truly full because I sometimes can't move.

2. I very rarely eat desserts, especially after dinner. I prefer salty things to sweet ones and I don't like changing my taste with desserts.

3. When I see all the dishes on the table in Christmas I want to try each one because everything tastes delicious. After finishing eating I feel full and it happens to me every Christmas.

I used to overeat a lot once, but it resulted more from the fact that it was very difficult for me to get a feeling of satiety. Currently I don't think I'm over-eating, I try to finish eating before I feel full.

2. Do you eat desserts after dinners?
On a daily routine, I don't eat dessert after dinner. It happens to me only on special occasions, but I am also a lover of salty, not sweet.

3. Is it possible for you to not overeat in Christmas season?
Christmas is a special time when I don't think you can't avoid eating too much. I love "pierogi" and poppy seeds cake too much, so I overeat every Christmas.

1. Do you often experience sensory specific satiety? Or are you the type of person who when is full, is full, no matter what other food is available.
My stomach works in a simple way, when I'm full, then I won't eat anything anymore. This applies to all types of food, from ordinary dishes to desserts and other delicacies. My body just knows when to stop eating and the forced consumption of subsequent portions of food will be ineffective.

2. Do you eat desserts after dinners?
I rarely eat anything after dinner. I really like desserts, but I can't always eat them. It still depends on the type of dessert, but if it's ice cream or apple pie, then I never refuse. I may not eat it all, but every bite will be worth it.

3. Is it possible for you to not overeat in Christmas season?
This is a completely different story. During the holiday season it's always very difficult for me to restrain from eating and overeating. I think, however, that this is normal in my case, because I live far from my family home and eating really good, home-made and in addition holiday food is very rare. I think it will be no different this year.

Yes, I am definitely the one who experience this syndrom. And I always have a little space for dessert.
2. Do you eat desserts after dinners?
Sometimes, it's depend on do I really want something special.

3. Is it possible for you to not overeat in Christmas season?
Yes, I've never had this kind of problems.
1. I rarely experience sensory-specific satiety. But I don't even want to think about any food in the next few hours when I'm full. I don't like feeling so full that it's hard to breathe. So I try not to overeat.

2. Yes, sometimes I want to eat something sweet after dinner. But since I rarely buy desserts or chocolate, I try to eat fruit instead.

3. To eat a lot of different and delicious food at Christmas time has become a tradition. :) I'm already making a list of different dishes I would like to cook for the holidays.
1. Do you often experience sensory specific satiety? Or are you the type of person who when is full, is full, no matter what other food is available.
I try to always remember about my capability of eating and how much I should eat to just dont feel hungry. When I feel im full i wont eat anyting else.
2. Do you eat desserts after dinners?
No I don't.
3. Is it possible for you to not overeat in Christmas season?
It is, depends on what you are doing during christmas time. Most of the time we are just sitting so all this food is stored and not used as a energy for doing physical things.
1. I'm a reasonable person when it comes to food because I easily gain extra fat, so when I'm full, I'm full. However, when I can treat myself I always like to take tiny bits of this and that and successively eat all the food that lay before me ;)

2. It might shock you but I'm not a fan of sweets. My preferable dessert is salty snacks and I can eat them even when I'm full!

3. My mother is a brilliant cook so it's tempting but I know that I will get some leftovers to take home, that's why I restrain myself. Besides, it's funny to watch my family suffer from overeating while I'm just fine.

Bonus:
By the way, there is another reason why we like to treat ourself to a dessert. Digesting takes some of our energy, that's why we feel sluggish after a big meal. Sugar is an easy source of energy that our body uses to help us digest what we just ate. In effect, we feel better and more energetic.
1. Yes, I usually experience this tempting feeling, however I rarely tend to subject to it.

2. It happens sometimes when there is a special occasion.

3. I do not like Christmas food, so I am almost always hungry after we finish eating.

2. Sometimes yes sometimes no, it depends on the dinner. I usually don't eat desserts after fatty dishes. However, after light meals, why not?
3. I don't think so, especially when you visit grandmothers who cooked food for their grandchildren all week. However, once in a while, e.g. for Christmas, I think that you can not limit yourself with food.

1. Do you often experience sensory specific satiety? Or are you the type of person who when is full, is full, no matter what other food is available.
Very often I feel full only when I eat more food. Unfortunately, I am a greedy type. I eat my eyes very often, which means that even if I hire one, if I see a treat I will taste a bit.

2. Do you eat desserts after dinners?
Fortunately, no, but I often eat sweets. Recently, I try to eat them in the morning to have a chance to burn them during the day. Unfortunately, the sense of taste is the bane of society.

3. Is it possible for you to not overeat in Christmas season?
Yes, I have been able to print it recently. Of course, it strictly depends on what is on the stands, but it is not easy.

I am that kind of person prefer buffet rather than everything, so I would like to taste a bit of every delicious food until I will be full, and if I will be full, I won't eat anymore no matter how delicious it will be.

2. Do you eat desserts after dinners?
Yes, but not that often, maybe once a week, I prefer food that could make me feel full or gain more energy for muscle, I guess desserts are not this type of food, and desserts are not making me full.

3. Is it possible for you to not overeat in Christmas season?
To be honest, we don't celebrate Christmas in my country, because we don't have it as a traditional festival, but we have some festival which is formally the same, it is Chinese Spring festival, and I was always full after every meal in this festival, I enjoyed it.

2. Generally, I don't like desserts or sweet things in general. I give my portions to my girlfriend.
3. Yes, I never overeat. I don't feel the need for gluttony and I only eat as much as I like. The food from Christmas always stays for another week, so I can easily try everything and three times.

1. Oh, I’m definitely the type of person that will make a room for dessert. Or for anything else if I like it. Sometimes, I can eat absolutely crazy amounts of food, that’s why I’m trying to have home-made food packed in containers for the whole day, just to avoid the temptation in restaurant or (which is even worse) buffet.
2. Sometimes I do. Sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I eat desserts instead of dinner and I know it’s not a good thing. I’m trying to eat sweets after the normal food (parents always told that I’ll get sweets after the lunch, hehe) and at the first half of the day, because I heard that it doesn’t affect your body as much, but I don’t even know if that’s the truth.
3. It is not possible. Absolutely not. Even when I had a pretty strict diet during Christmas, which forbid to eat like 95% of the existing food, I managed to overeat eating only those healthy for me options.
1. Do you often experience sensory specific satiety? Or are you the type of person who when is full, is full, no matter what other food is available.
I do experience sensory specific satiety. When I finish eating a dish I usually have the urge to eat something sweet. Especially after dinner on the weekend when I have more free time after my meal. During the working week I’m usually very busy and don’t have time to think about my next meal.

2. Do you eat desserts after dinner?
Very rarely, only when I’m visiting my grandparents and they usually have a vast choice of different types of cakes and pastries. I try not to eat desserts after dinner in order to stay in shape and not gain weight, but that’s very difficult since sugary foods are so tempting.

3. Is it possible for you to not overeat in Christmas season?
It’s very hard for me not to overeat during the Christmas season, since the food is so delicious and only done once a year. The variety of dishes is hard to resist and you feel the pressure to eat everything, because you don’t want to throw away and waste good food. Especially when so many people around the world don’t have the resources to have a feast.

1. If I have a choice of food I would choose the food from eating which I will get the most satisfaction. In this way you can start filling yourself with the favorite food instantly. Amazing, right?

2. Usually no. I don’t like sweet food so I don’t have much problem with not eating a dessert. But when I do, it’s usually something lite, like a jello or an ice cream.

3. During Christmas season it’s unreal not to overeat. :)
1. If I’m full, then you can mark this day in a calendar as extremely rare – I don’t have a habit of eating until it’s easier to roll than to walk by foot. Thus, I usually have some space for a dessert – sometimes even more space than for a normal food.
2. I eat desserts after dinner, before dinner and sometimes instead of dinner. Not my fault that when you need some quick snack, the easiest solution shops can offer is buying some chocolate bar.
3. Yes, it’s easy – just drink until you pass out – this way you won’t overeat. But seriously, I don’t know this struggle – just cook (or order – depends on how you celebrate) considering the number of people and don’t it all alone. If you cook for yourself – prepare the same amount of food you cook on everyday basis – why should your stomach capacity magically change because of the holidays?
1. I often overestimate my actual food needs, especially when it’s something I really enjoy. If I know that the dessert is worth keeping place, I try to do it.

2. Only if the dessert is in my taste. I don’t have necessity to eat it after every dinner. It should also fit to what I had eaten before.

3. I’m not really into Christmas food so it’s not threatening me. I only like few of traditional Christmas dishes so I’m not afraid of overeating 😊.
1. Do you often experience sensory specific satiety? Or are you the type of person who when is full, is full, no matter what other food is available.
I experience it all the time. I always liked to think that I have an additional stomach specialized in digesting desserts after full dinner.

2. Do you eat desserts after dinners?
I never plan or make desserts. When I happen to have some sweet snack stored somewhere in the deeps of my cupboards, then I don't hesitate and make myself a dessert from that finding, although it doesn't happen to often.

3. Is it possible for you to not overeat in Christmas season?
To be honest I don't eat that much during Christmas season. Of course I try everything that I can, but I'm trying not to put myself in a state of nearly dying due to gluttony.

1. I am a person who can eat, eat, eat all the time and still is skinny. I am always hungry, sometimes but very rarely I feel thats enough for me.

2. No, I do not like desserts. I dont eat anything sweet. I prefer to eat a well prepared lunch or dinner and I am satisfied.

3. For sure it is possible, I will try to taste everything and dont overeat. I like Christmas food so much. To sum up, it is possible and I will prove it.

I am rather a person who, when is full, refuses any dessert. I don’t like the feeling of being overeaten as I feel very sleepy afterwards and generally a bit heavier which results in for example problems with concentration.

2. Do you eat desserts after dinners?

It depends if I am full or not. When I am not and the dessert is something that I enjoy eating, then yes, I am definitely down for some dessert otherwise I’d rather stop
devouring.

3. Is it possible for you to not overeat in Christmas season?

Sure, especially that I am turning vegetarian which means that I have a limited menu.

1. It depends on a day. Sometimes when I'm full I'm full and would not eat anything else.
However, there are days when I feel like a bottomless pit.

2. When it is served, then sure. However, I do not always fancy something sweet.

3. Definitely not. Overeating to me is integral part of christmas. The whole celebration of it is to eat, drink, meet family, eating again and having some gifts.
1. I always have some room for a dessert. Especially during winter, when i always want to eat something sweet. I think it's just a good way to finish a meal.

2. When I'm at the restaurant, I usually eat desserts, but when I eat at home, I usually stick to what i have for dinner and nothing else, sometimes i will eat some chocolate bar after, but that's it.

3. Yes, especially when you eat only 2 dishes during christmas and nothing else liek i do, because that's the only thing that i like

I'm definitely one of those people who always have a place for dessert. When I see a lot of food and I know that there'll be dessert, I always plan everything so that there would be strength for dessert.

2. Do you eat desserts after dinners?
I'm one of those people who eat dessert when it is, regardless of time.

3. Is it possible for you to not overeat in Christmas season?
I do a lot of gym, and being overweight has never been a problem for me. Extra kilocalories eaten during the day, I can always compensate on the evening run. Therefore, I never limit myself to food.

I've never had a problem with weight or over-eating. On the contrary, I want to put on a few pounds because I am naturally very thin. So I eat whatever I want. And when I feel like I'm full, then I'm full.

 2. Do you eat desserts after dinners?
Yes, and it doesn't matter if I'm full or not. I can't go without dessert or something sweet after dinners. It's some kind of habit. I try to listen to my body and when I want sweets I just eat it.

3. Is it possible for you to not overeat in Christmas season?
As I mentioned before, I try to listen to my body and when I full that I'm full - I simply stop eating. When I'm hungry - I eat. So, I do not have problems with overeating. I like Christmas time so much, because of different cookies and candies.

Only occasionally. I just do not keep the desserts in my house.

1. I think I might be subject to this kind of stimulation.

I was thought to never leave food on a plate. That wasn't very smart, even though I hate food wasting, it is still the first step to obesity. When we are full we should stop eating. It is healthy and we can learn to feel our body and organism more aware.
2. Do you eat desserts after dinners?
I always have to eat something sweet after dinner. But right now I choose to eat dried fruits, apple or nuts. Rarely dark chocolate.
3. Is it possible for you to not overeat in Christmas season?
Yes, I try to be very careful while Christmas and never eat when I am not hungry. One time I got 3 kg more and I never want to do that again :p

I wouldn’t say often but sometimes yes especially when I eat something that I don’t like or eat this too often and I can’t say that I’m person who when is full, is full, no matter what other food is available if there is something that I really like I will always find some space for one more bite maybe two… or three ?
2. Do you eat desserts after dinners?
No…, well maybe sometimes but not immediately after dinner I would say around 30-60 min later and I know that this dessert can wait.

I don't belong to obese people, I like to eat well. When I'm full and someone else will give me my favorite delicacy, some delicious cake, e.g. apple pie. I'll just eat her 🙂

2. Do you eat desserts after dinners?

I don't really have the habit of eating dessert after dinner. But I like to eat something delicious in a restaurant and then I completely spontaneous approach it. I like sweets and I just eat them between meals

3. Is it possible for you to not overeat in Christmas season?

It is the only day of the year where everything is delicious. I have a 12-meal tradition
1. Do you often experience sensory-specific satiety? Or are you the type of person who when is full, is full, no matter what other food is available.

I have a division between the "main" food and the desert. Almost every time, when I feel "full" I will have a place for a dessert, especially if it is with ice cream or chocolate. To be honest I like more divided food when I have some options to chose and eat.

2. Do you eat desserts after dinners?

Not always, I used to eat it all the time, but now I am trying to change this behaviour. I want to reduce the number of deserts, which I am eating.

3. Is it possible for you to not overeat in Christmas season?

I think, no. Too many foods I should try, too many guests I have to visit, too many time at the table will be spent. I think eating a lot of food during Christmas is becoming some sort of tradition and it is very hard not to overeat.

1. I see it as advantage but I do love food. Eating is always a pleasure for me and when I have opportunity to eat something amazing I take it no matter what. For example I don't mind paying for food in restaurant even more than average, but only when the food is delicious. It's only way I'm satisfied. However, whenever I eat something in the city, expensive or cheap, when it's bad I'm disappointed, truly mad. Also, I'm the type of man, who after big lunch, enormous plate of food, can still eat package of Lays.
2. For majority of my life I haven't eaten desserts, I don't have big sweet tooth. However, lately I just feel a need of sugar after dinner. I hope it changes, because in other way I'll get on weight surely!
3. Having read my food story you know that answer will be no. Especially for Christmas it's not possible. I would kill just for the scent of those meals!

1. When I overeat, and my stomach hurts, I can't eat anymore even when I sit between a huge variety of sweets. But when I feel full it means that I for 100% have an additional place for dessert (both in my heart and stomach).

2. After dinner I always drink coffee and nothing else. But after 10-30 minutes, as a person who loves sweets and totally addicted to sugar products, I will take some (or a lot of) candies.

3. Yes, it's possible. I won't be at home at Christmas, so I will eat only what I will cook and it's won't be a lot of food.
1. Do you often experience sensory specific satiety? Or are you the type of person who when is full, is full, no matter what other food is available.
Truly I rarely experience it and I don't like overeat. I usually try to pay attention on what am I eating and mostly I'm satisfied with it.

2. Do you eat desserts after dinners?
Not often but I try to eat something natural like apple or some another fruit. I think it's difficult your for stomach to digest if you eat for example some sweet or cake after good dinner that causes obesity in future.
3. Is it possible for you to not overeat in Christmas season?
Well it is possible actually. Usually it's hard to control yourself if there is variety of food and you want to taste them all, but you don't have to forget to take care of your health also.
1. This is a very interesting phenomenon that I experienced more than once. I really like to eat, like everyone, and I have eaten something sweet after big dinner. As a rule, I try not to eat too much and at fixed times, and of course not to eat anything sweet, although sometimes it is difficult.

2. When I was a child, dessert was something necessary after lunch. Now that I'm an adult I don't practice it anymore.

3. In my case I have no problem with swelling at Christmas because I'm not a fan of Christmas Eve dishes. On the following holiday days I eat more but I also try to be moderate.
I'm also not a big fan of Christas dishes, maybe except pierogis.
Do you have your favorite Christmas tradition?
Yes, It's really hard not to overeat whey you visit your grandma ;) Do you have a favorite meal that your grandma makes?
I also like eating Karp, but none of my friend likes it, it's good to know that I'm not the only one ;)

3. Actually i always try to eat as much as I can and i don't worry about "overeating".
Overeat means end of the meal and a smile on face although it may be tiring.
I don't like all of the eves dishes but I compensate with those that i like.
I believe that from food comes energy and important substances for the development of the body and brain, so I try to eat a lot and healthy if possible. I guess You can feel bad after overeating on bad food.
What's your favorite Christmas dish that your mum cooks?
I also try not to limit myself during Christmas. Is it hard for you to not eat so much when the holidays are over?
I also prefer salty snacks, but sometimes I crave sweet things. What is your favorite salty snack?
I have noticed that during holiday season, I eat just because there is so many food on the table, not because I'm hungry.
Do you like cooking? What is your favorite Christmas food to make.. and eat ;)?
I have heard about it and that's why I try to eat dessert before the main course, just so I would have energy to digest and not overeat.
Do you have a specific food that you eat only on Chinese Spring festival, and not much in the other days?
