This video presents the Flat Earth Society and why flat earth believers are so convinced that the Earth is flat. Moreover it demonstrates how the flat earth looks like and how "it works".
Questions:
1.Why do you think that the Earth is flat or round?
2.Would you like to go into outer space to make sure that your theory is right? If so, how would you convince the others?
3.Is it important for you to know whether the Earth is flat or round? What does it mean to you?

I would definitely not try to do something crazy like this. If I was really that suspicious about shape of Earth, I would rather send some kind of probe that would livestream the whole flight on the internet. Actually, I've recently heard about one person who launched himself on the high altitude balloon to proof that flat Earth theory and it didn't go very well.
For me the answer to the third question is obvious - I don't care because I know the facts, but still, it's enjoyable to watch how conspiracy theorists try to convince everyone that their claims are true.
2. No. It can be proven or rather it can be concluded based on observations without leaving the surface of earth.
3. It’s a basic knowledge. It’s good to keep that in mind. For example when you perform geographic calculations or you deal with time zones.
As I stated before, it doesn't matter practically for me whether the Earth is flat or not but it's annoying when other people waste their and everyone's time on constructing conspiracy theories like that. Even worse when their theories constitute a threat to the society - like anti vaxxers.
I would love to go to the space to prove to everyone that the Earth is flat and take the first authentic footage for the humanity. However, I think NASA would never let me do that, and I would sooner get killed than managed to share that footage with others.
To know that the Earth is flat is a matter of truth to me. People should know the truth so they stop being so gullible and easy to manipulate by governments and big corporations.
2. I would like to fly into space one day, but not to make sure that the Earth is round. This can be proven by being on Earth. Is no need space flight.
3.I don't think that is important to me, because I don't deal with this field of science. The truth about the Earth is only important for science, so that it can develop further
Of course I would go to the cosmos to see if all this is in my eyes, but I do not know how to make people believe me, maybe they should just believe me.
If I take into account the whole life I believe that the earth is round, perhaps I prefer it to be. But on the other hand, as the older generation people would say "Let's be good, and the earth can be even square"

I don't know why people would even believe that the Earth is flat, it just doesn't make sense. I wouldn't say that it's very important to me that the Earth is round, it's just a fact that was proven in XVI century by Mikołaj Kopernik and people should just accept it and stop having medieval mindset.
I wouldn't go to space to ensure that I am right. I would go there to experience something new, something which is exciting.
I have never thought about this topic. I am 100% sure that it is round and end of the topic.
The FE people tend to start by touting Eric Dubay’s ‘200 proofs’ book (and video), but that contains almost nothing which is a proof (much of it is unsubstantiated claims), but each of the 200 claims has been debunked here: 200 Reasons why flat-earthers are simply wrong. (Rebuke: 200 Proofs the earth is not a spinning ball. http://blog.daimonie.com/2015/11/200-reasons-why-flat-earthers-are.html )
Now, the model of the Earth as an oblate ellipsoid is managed by an international organization in France (not NASA). You can read about their efforts to refine that model here: The International Terrestrial Reference Frame http://itrf.ensg.ign.fr (ITRF)
I think it's not really that important piece of knowledge. The only reason why you can need this knowledge is to pass some geography exam. Or to know, that you can flight or seal from Australia to Argentina without crossing whole Eurasia.
2. Hell yea i would, who wouldnt go into space right now. It would be such an awesome jurnay.
3. In my opinion it is quite important even if its only for your common knowledge.
Would I like to go to outer space and see the truth? No, of course! A lot of people has proven that Earth is round and that's enough. It's very dangerous and I would prefer to stay at home :)
It's hard to say but ok... it's quite important for me but only for common knowledge. It didn't change anything in my life but it's good to know about that.
I don't know. This is a big change. I don't know if I would like to go to another country. A flight in komsos is a different scale.
It isn't important. But it's great to know where I live.
When I was a little kid I was tought that the Earth is round, therefore this idea is deep inside me and it constantly rejects any others. Nevertheless, after some significant analysis whether the Earth is flat or round, I am more than sure more convinced that our planet is round.
2. Would you like to go into outer space to make sure that your theory is right? If so, how would you convince the others?
Definitely! I would love to travel into outer space and make some selfies with the round Earth. I think that more than few people would say it is photoshopped, so a live stream should make a deal.
3. Is it important for you to know whether the Earth is flat or round? What does it mean to you?
Yes, I find it crucial to know the basics of the world we are living in. The shape of our home in this galaxy is just one of them, as well as the nearest planets and whether we can find some water on them or not.
I would not try to convince them to round Earth fact any way. Just because they believe it as much as some people believe in God. And as God's existence could not be proven or deny by the science, the Earth roundness can and it is proven. But flatearthers would deny it event if being in the outer space and seeing Earth from there.
Well, for me it's not so important for everyday basis if the Earth is round, except when in a long distance plane (when the roundness and direction is important for this). I just live with the knowledge that this is the fact.
I think that i don't have to go into outer space because of them. In fact, even if i'm wrong that change nothing in my life.
I can say thing of which I'am definetly certain that The Flat Earth Society has his members all around the globe
Of course, Earth is flat. There is so much facts proving this.
The horizon always rises to meet your eye level never no matter how high in altitude you go. Even at 20 miles up the horizon rises to meet the observer/camera. This is only physically possible if the earth is a huge "endless" flat plane.
The sun is much closer than we have been told. It is, in fact, in our atmosphere. You can clearly see that it is not 93 million miles away. Many times you can see the sun's rays shooting out of a cloud forming a triangle. If you follow the rays to their source it will always lead to a place above the clouds.
2.Would you like to go into outer space to make sure that your theory is right? If so, how would you convince the others?
Yes, I do. I'll take photos, there 2018 out there.
3.Is it important for you to know whether the Earth is flat or round? What does it mean to you?
It means nothing, but it's funny!
Yes, as a kid I dreamed of being astronaut. If I would be given possibility to go int outer space I'll definatelly use it ! I don't know, i think if some people don't want to belive they wouldn't change their minds even if they see it with theirs own eyes. I think this question is unnecessary because (I hope) all people studing in our college know that Earth is ROUND.
No. I would rather go there to see our planet and experience how it is to go to space or to the orbit. I would never make it my life goal...
Well, the physics we have at the moment suits me well, I don't want to change that. I like gravity.
All the floods in Poland have really got me thinkinhg about how many people still think that the Earth is round. I will prove them wrong. Here comes the science - Are You ready for experiment? Take a glass of water and normal lemon(similar shape to Earth), now when You pour water (like it's raining), the water just fall of the lemon. Now if the Earth was round, how the Poland was flooded if the water will just travel around the ball? It doesnt make sence. Now take the plate, the flat plate - if you pour the water on to the plate - intresting, as You can see the water pools up. Thats the ultimate proof. Try me.
I just convinced You by the science, I don't need photos. Photos can be easly photoshoped. The shape of the earth don't mean nothing to me ;)
This subject is a fact not an object to discuss. The earth is round.
Would you like to go into outer space to make sure that your theory is right? If so, how would you convince the others?
I do not want to convince any one, people are different. If someone wants to believe in spaghetti monster, why not.
Is it important for you to know whether the Earth is flat or round? What does it mean to you?
Probably that everything that we see is built in our brain, the emptiness in atoms is so big that we have to go thru them, but we don’t. We have model of everything in ours brain, if that model will be as accurate as needed to predict correct behaviour, then it is enough. For example to calculate the shortest way to fly from one country to other.
I wouldn't want to spend time on proving myself something that I consider as a fact and neither waste my time on convincing people who wouldn't believe my anyway. Some people wouldn't believe it just for the sake of "thinking different".
It's not as important to me as it would seem. I would feel really weird though if one of the first facts about our planet that I've ever learnt wasn't true.
2.No i would not travel into outer space just to see "round" earth with my very eyes, anybody who would is dumb. There are many more things worth seeing in cosmos than round earth, hell there are many more reasons to travel into cosmos. Travelling to outer space for this reason alone would be a waste.
3.It is not important for me, nor its necessary for me to live my life in most cases, but its is necessary for me to know if people i meet that i might possibly rely on are of healthy mind.?
Sure, I'd love to do it! I would not try to convince anyone or share it, I'd be just mine. haha
Of course it is, I don't want to fell down one day.
I have no doubt that Eearth is round, For me it's just obvious.
2.Would you like to go into outer space to make sure that your theory is right? If so, how would you convince the others?
No, becuase of point number 1.
3.Is it important for you to know whether the Earth is flat or round? What does it mean to you?
For me it's absolutely irrelevant. Why? Supposedly even if Earth is flat, what does it change? Nothing.
IIf it was true that the Earth is flat no one would need to find the edge and cliffhang in order to find out. The world would actually dry out, since, in the case of a flat world all the water will slip away by streaming off the edge; or is it gravity that keeps it restrained here on Earth? As far as anyone is concerned, flat Earth believers don't think gravity is real and perhaps Danold Trump's forefathers build a wall around the edge to contain the water.
I'd love to go into outer space just for my curiosity of the external world. I will try to do as many as I can photo to document everything and try to convince other with these photos.
It doesn't bother me that much now. But as I said I would be really reallyyy surprised it all of that would be a specially prepared lied by all governments or any other prominent organisations.
I believe all the reasons given to us, that it’s round, but if I were given an opportunity - yes, of course I will travel to outer space.
No, it’s not important to me at all.
