None of those looks particularly delicious. The berries perhaps, but still, if they aren't available fresh it doesn't matter. A great idea for food supply to our recent trip to Mars, it's gonna take some time and the calories to weight ratio in food supply should be as high as possible.

I've never tried them. It probably costs a lot. Everything what is healthy costs a lot. For example Xylitol (Healthy sugar) costs 60-80 zloty per kilo. Recently when I made meringue for my mother's namesday I used 250g of Xylitol. I whipped it for 30 minutes and next I waited 3 hours before it grew. Guess what? It didn't. Because you should use normal sugar. How can you be fit?
I try to give my body all ingredients without superfood. Did you know that you should give your body 2 g of protein for every kilo of your weight? For example one egg = 6 g. You can't give your body as much protein as you need from everyday food.

As I'm trying to eat clean and healthy, I have heard about most of superfoods you've mentioned apart from maca roots.
I think that superfoods is nice idea to diversify our daily menu.
I have tried most of them, but my favorite is chia seeds. You can make something like pudding by mixing some milk with chia seeds. This mixture you have to leave for a couple of hours and it's done. Chia have a huge amount of fatty acids and it's very very healthy.
I like chia pudding especially as a sweet part of my breakfast.

This is a great opportunity to try something new, since globalization brings all these exotic things to the local grocery stores. I don't have obsession on the healthy food, but for some reason I have 2 of the foods from this list:)Chia seeds are really awesome, just because they have an interesting taste and form, I use them for making desserts.

I have never eaten any of those products and I am not really interested in healthy food. In my opinion it is just waste of money, because all nutrients you can provide by eating meat, fish, fruits and vegetables.

In my opinion only spirulina has a disgusting taste, rest of mentioned products are really good, of course not as a separate meal but as ingredient of some dish. Pudding with chia, coconut milk and mango pure is great dessert :)

Yes, I agree a lot of this products are expensive. This what you said about protein is not true because you could give your body enough protein if you have well balanced diet.

I like chia pudding too :) Thanks for your comment!

I like the trend for healthy lifestyle. Because when people around you are eating healthy you somehow copy their habits.
I ate something that contained acai berries, but I don;t know how they taste themselves. Now I'm looking forward to preapre dessert with chia seeds - I've heard that it tastes as pudding :)

I agree with you, if we have opportunity to try something new to eat that why we should resign from this? I know this food is more expensive than normal but I think sometimes it's worth spend a little more money for new experiences.

Thank you for your comment :)

I like your point of view and agree with this opinion :)

I have heard of them and personally I eat sometimes Chia seeds as well as Goji berries. I eat them usually in a very healthy meal -outmeal. I eat it for breakfast very often and I think these two ingredients are very tasty. I eat outmeal with yogurt, some sliced apples, peaches or bananas, cocoa, sunflower seed and almonds.
The other ones I haven't tried as far as I know... so thank you for this presentation.

To be honest I’m an enthusiast of the medicinal herbs and superfood because I'm also a big fan of alternative medicine. I have heard about all of these superfood which you have mentioned. I believe that this kind of food has beneficial effect on our health. On the other hand it is true that this food is too expensive.
Unknown said…
Of these dishes I only heard of goji berries but I never tried it. Before study, I Ate healthy but now I eat what I have in the fridge
haha :)
I don’t know what to really think about superfoods, is it another stupid trend or maybe it really is miraculous food.
I have tried spirulina and chia seeds, and to be honest I really liked it. I don’t know if it was only placebo effect but I have felt lighter and better, and even it was all in my head I eat it from time to time now.

Superfood is interesting branch of food. We should eat food like this. Propably bodybuilders and athlets would get maximum effort from this. I have't tried any of food you listed in your presentation but I would. Mabey I will buy something like this if i see it on the grocery store shelf.

I think that no superfood will replace balanced diet. It might be good addition to food, but come on, adding some magic berries to you McDonald won't make you helathy. I think we should just treat it as another source of good energy and microelements, seasoning for veggies, or addition to yoghurt. Eat your veggies children!
This doesn't look tasty at all, maybe it is because I'm not vegan, there is nothing more delicious for me than a piece of beef. For me it can be be a very good side dish or condiment but no main. But it shows a special application in aerospace where every gram what will go up to stars costs in hundreds of thousands dolars.

I don't know, I am trying to eat clean, but for the vitamins I just buy pills, because I can read all the dozes at the package. too much vitamins is not good at all. For example I don't know how much goja berries I should eat a day. I have tried to buy different kinds of super food, but those experiments don't last long in my case:)
But if you could consult with a professional dietologist then it could be a good idea to add such things in your menu.

I know the spirulina and I can not stop wondering why I've always heard about it in context of healthy food but not in body-building context. I have not tried other superfoods, however I would like to try them in the near future.
Unknown said…
I've never before heard about Spirulina and Maca root, are they available on a polish market?
I've eaten Goji berries and Chia seeds; in some desserts they're tasty but they probably won't taste good in and of themselves.
From some time I wanna buy chia seeds and prepare some sweet snack from them by myself, but I haven't found time yet. But I'm looking forward to this opportunity after exams.

I've eaten Goji berries, but I've never heard of superfoods. In my opinion when you have good eating habits, you don't need "superfoods". You should eat healthy food, but you must have a pleasure of eating.

I think superfoods is a great treat to have a much healthier life. I've heard about spirulina, chea seeds and acai berries but haven't try any of them. I would like to try some of them and look at the effects!

The best superfood is the one called "healthy, varied, balanced and diversified diet". Eating one kind of fruit alone will destroy your body fast, even if it is some kind of magical root found inside a volcano in new Guinea.

That is cool that someone wrote about it. Me myself I am a big fan of Acai Berries and Chia Seeds and not just because of their health power, but also becouse very good taste. Chia pudding is now one of my favorite desserts. I'm not a vegan or vegetarian, because this types of desserts are associated with them, but I really love it. I knew that it is healthy, but I did not realize that its so much. This is very good news.

I've never tried any of these superfood, but I heard from friends that they are quite effective. I think around the world we can find much food which is great and completely unknown or on reverse - typical, very popular products about whose nobody would think that are super. For example I've read an article about health related properties of cinnamon and chili.
Bartosz Łyżwa said…
In my opinion, the "superfood" therm is not good for those products or even any healthy food because it's too wide. I've known and tried every of them without spirulina in usual form and maca root. Personally I like goji berries to eat like chrisps or something like that and I love to drink juice from acai berries :).

The problem with ecological cars emission in UK Since the adoption of the European Emission Allowance Directive in the European Parliament, all car makers have tried to submit. Since 1992, the Euro I standard has been in force, which limited the emission of carbon monoxide to the atmosphere. The Euro VI standard currently applies, which limits the series of exhaust gases.
