1. Did you know the history of discovery of tea before?

I never heard about how tea was discovered, but I knew how it was spread around the world. It’s unbelievable, how a simple infusion of leaves took over the world and contributed for so many historical events like opium war or Boston tea party. . Traditions are such beautiful and various in each country, so I can’t imagine how boring our world was without tea

2. Do you like drinking tea how so how often do you drink it?

Yes, I drink tea maybe every day, especially in the evening. At morning I prefer coffee. For me, drinking tea with loved ones is part of my life. I remember drinking tea with sweets with my family every evening, and it was the moment when we could talk to each other or tell how the day was. Now I have the same tradition with my boyfriend, every evening we make tea and spend a little time together.

3. Do you have any favourite type of tea? how so what?

My favourite is black tea. I like sweet Earl Grey with lemon, black tea with spices and milk, and various fruit teas.

1) Well I don't know about overall countries , I comes from India so I know the discovery of tea in India. The tea leaves were often used by native Indians as part of their diet, but they were mainly used for their medicinal properties. It was a long time before it developed into what is now renowned as chai, a flavorful black tea sweetened with sugar and milk along with spices such as cardamom and ginger, used in frying, in vegetable dishes or to make broth. In many respects, tea drinking itself has developed, with each region of this vast nation producing their own varieties of chai. There are humble roadside chaiwallas that make hundreds of steaming cups that bind all strata of society, and the gourmet stores that sell and serve fine Indian tea are on the other end of the continuum.

2) I don't drink tea every day, although my younger self may scarcely have imagined it. Usually, I'll drink once or twice a week, otherwise I'll be good without tea. With milk and sugar, I like tea. Orange tea, and my cup of tea is not black tea;)Also I have some herbal teas in my country and I like to drink it sometimes, I found it very healthy also it increase immunity power and give nice protection from virus so no worries to get fever or other flue. Specially if it is added with ginger. I still have some herbal teas from my country and occasionally I like to drink it, I find it really safe as well as growing immune capacity and offering good virus protection so no worries about having fever or other flue. Especially if ginger is added to it.

3) As I mentioned in answer 2 , I like to drink tea with milk and sugar. Additionally I like to drink bubbles tea also, the cold one.

1. Did you know the history of discovery of tea before?
I did not know all story that was presented in the video. But I was aware of that tea motherland is China. Chinese tea culture is popular all over the world. It is different from the tea culture in Europe and has many varieties.
I like how during Chinese tea ceremony attention is paid to the environment and atmosphere.

2. Do you like drinking tea how so how often do you drink it?
Yes, I like drinking tea very much. I usually drink it a few times a day. To be honest, I can not imagine a day without a cup of tea. It helps me to have a rest during the day. It's like a ritual that helps me slow down, be alone with myself and relax my thoughts.

3. Do you have any favourite type of tea? How so what?
Yes, I have favourite types of tea.
I love green tea the most. The smell of leaf green tea associates with my grandparents, who live far away in Saint Petersburg. I have spent all summer holidays there and have a lot of warm memories.
Also, I like to drink black tea with bergamot and a piece of lemon from time to time. Plus, I have drunk Turkish tea when I had a trip to Azerbajdzan a few years ago, and it was very tasty.

1. I've never been interested in tea before so much to know its history. Although the history of tea is as interesting as the history of chess I learned about in one of the articles from the previous week, still learning about historical events is not my favorite activity.

2. I like to drink tea, but I don't drink it that often, probably twice a week. It takes time to prepare tea, so I usually give it up and drink water. The taste of the tea is so good that is why about 2 times a week I will be tempted to spend some time and prepare hot tea.

3. My favorite tea is black tea with lemon and honey. The preparation of such tea, unfortunately, requires time and ingredients. Nevertheless, it is still worth preparing a delicious drink from time to time.

1. No, I didn't know the history of tea before.
2. I'm not the type of tea drinker. I sometimes drink it once a month or even less.
3. I don't have a favorite genre. I drink standard one - I have no idea what kind it is.
1. Did you know the history of discovery of tea before?
To be honest I didn't hear about the history of tea before. Recently I am a fan of tea. Mostly I like the taste of Yerba Mate. Have you tried it ?

2. Do you like drinking tea how so how often do you drink it?
Yes, I like tea. Most often is 1-2 cups of tea per day but it depends. Sometimes I drink more and sometimes I don't drink. Recently I stopped drinking Red Bulls and coffee. In my opinion tea is the best alternative for that.

3. Do you have any favorite type of tea? how so what?
Yes, as I said before I like to drink Yerba Mate. I also tried some other types like for example Oolong which is chinese tea. I found on the internet that it has blue color. Unfortunately I was disappointed when I bought it. The color of the tea wasn’t blue. A few weeks ago polish artist Quebonafide did a track called Matcha Latte. It is also one of the types of tea. I haven't tried this yet. This one is from Japan so it is a little bit related to our academy. I will definitely try this one when I will have the opportunity.

1. Did you know the history of discovery of tea before?
I have never heard this story, but it is really interesting. I've only heard stories about the way tea spread into the world and etymology behind the names of tea in different countries. Most countries call tea by variations of the words "tea" or "cha". Places where tea got by sea adapted the word "tea", when countries that got introduced to tea by land adapted the word "cha".

2. Do you like drinking tea how so how often do you drink it?
Tea is my favourite drink and I drink it every day. I can't get through the day without drinking at least 3 cups of tea a day. Having a cup of green tea every morning is a must for me, it wakes me up and improves my mood- it is for me like coffee for most people. Sometimes I think that perhaps I drink too much tea, but I just can't help it.

3. Do you have any favorite type of tea? how so what?
I love all kinds of tea, but my absolute favourite is jasmine green tea. It is quite subtle in taste, but it has a specific flavor that no other tea has. The tea is scented with the aroma of blossoms of jasmine plant, making the flavor one of a kind and unforgetable.

No, I thought the history was really interesting and the video presented the topic very well. And I was not aware that Japan started making tea much later then the Chinese did.

2.
It's my all time favourite beverage. There are some days where I drink over 1L of tea,
since the process of brewing it again is quite simple with having loose leaf. Alzo it's amazing in every season of the year.

3.
I would go with Gyokuro, which is a Japanese green tea, but I found myself liking more and more various pu-erhs in form of cakes which are pressed tea. I also like white tea, because it has less caffeine, so it makes it easier to fall asleep.
1. Did you know the history of discovery of tea before?
I have never heard about history of discovery of tea before. The reason of it is that I am not a big fan of tea. On the other hand when I have travelled China I have drink a lot of tea there. And I would have like to try the phenomenon of this drink. To be honest I realized that I wasn't a big fan of tea because I have never drink a tea which I would have liked a lot. In this country I found really good one and bought some of them to drink it in Poland. I used to do it every day but I ran out of it now. Next time I would buy more of it.

2. Do you like drinking tea how so how often do you drink it?
As I said before I usually don't drink tea, but I used to do it every day some times ago. If I have to drink it, I prefer green or black tea without sugar. I think it is really good to way to collect your thoughts for a minute and focus on some things.

3. Do you have any favorite type of tea? how so what?
I don't remember what kind of tea I have drink in China, but when I am drinking some tea I prefer to drink black tea in the evening when I am working. I like to "strong" tea to be more productive and it gains me more power rather than coffee.

1. Did you know the history of discovery of tea before?
I know the legend of the discovery of tea that was first discovered by Shennong. However, I did not know the story of the British trade with China, where they initially traded silver and then exchanged tea for opium, which made China addicted to the drug. A very interesting story showing how the drug spoils the society because this drug was one of the causes of the war in China after all. I am very happy that these days tea is common and very cheap because I love to drink it every day, especially green tea.

2. Do you like drinking tea how so how often do you drink it?
Yes, I drink tea a lot, certainly once a day. I love drinking tea for breakfast. Besides its function as a drink, tea is an inseparable element of some kind of ritual creating a unique atmosphere, e.g. in the evening under a blanket by the window when it is snowing outside the window.

3. Do you have any favorite type of tea? how so what?
My favorite tea is green. I drink tea because there are many theories about how healthy it is and of course tea is very tasty. There are different types of green tea, but I like it best from leaves, that's one that's a friend brings me from Vietnam.

1. I have never heard how tea was developed and this video really good shows the story of this drink. I didn't know that in the beginning people used to eat tea instead of drink it. Also I thought that Matcha is a Japanese tea not Chinese.
2. I love tea, especially earl grey tea. I used to drink tea everyday but now I have change my morning drink into Yerba Mate. But I'm still a tea lover so I drink it front time to time.
3. I would go with classic Earl Grey Tea, for me the black tea has more intense taste than Green Tea. If I had to choose my favorite type of green tea I would choose Dragonwell which is one of the most popular Chinese teas.

I didn’t know the history of the discovery of tea before, I only knew that it was from China. I’m really surprised by it and how it took part in so many important events.

I really like drinking tea both hot and with ice, but mostly I make myself a cup and forget about it and drink it at room temperature sometime after. I think I drink tea every day or almost every day because I also like to drink other herbs so I sometimes drink mint or nettle and skip the tea.

My favorite type of tea is green tea, I like how it comes with many different flavors, but I enjoy it by itself as well. Also, I drink matcha latte a lot, because I try to drink less coffee.

Answering your questions,

A few years ago I watched a docummentary about history of tea on Discovery Channel. As I remember most of the facts were included in the TED video, but not all of them unfortunately. Nevertheless I enjoyed watching that video and I'm glad that I could recall most of informations about tea history.

Yes, I believe tea is my favourite type of drink. I dont like coffe at all, but the tea is the opposite.

It's hard to choose one type, but if I had to I would pick a black tea maybe.

1. Never heard of the history of tea before. I thought it was discovered much earlier. The Greeks discovered wine thousands of years BC. Tea, as it turns out, is not that old. Pretty fresh drink :)

2. Very much! I drink tea about 2-3 times a day. I do not like the taste of coffee very much, and besides, I do not think it is one of the healthiest drinks. It is harmful both to the body (it stimulates the adrenal glands by increasing the amount of cortisol produced, which translates into faster loss of minerals from our body, such as magnesium) and the psyche. Besides, obtaining milk for Cappuchino, Late or regular coffee with milk is extremely cruel and I prefer not to contribute to the suffering of animals more than I can.

3. I have two favorite teas. I am an amateur, so please don't laugh. I love Strawberry Raspberry Lipton Green Tea and Strawberry Mango Dilmah Black Tea. These are by far my favorite teas. There is another interesting drink - it is called rooibos. It does not have theine, so it does not stimulate, but it has a very good effect on our immune system. It is said that drinking rooibos is recommended during the autumn and winter season.

1. I knew a couple of facts, but there wasn’t anything concrete in them…I knew it is from China 😊 😊 😊

2. I drink it usually 2-4 times a day. It’s a norm for me, can’t imagine myself skipping drinking tea for the whole day.

3. I love green tea with some additional aromatic ingredients like chocolate or vanilla. I also like black tea with oranges. I tend to spend a lot of money in “Five O’clock” in Złote Tarasy…. But I truly enjoy even the process of choosing.
1. Did you know the history of discovery of tea before?

Actually no! I always know that the history of tea comes from China but that’s all. The video was visually pleasing and it contains a lot of condensed knowledge.

2. Do you like drinking tea how so how often do you drink it?

I love drinking tea and I consider myself a heavy drinker of tea. I drink tea every time of the day. I would say I drink at least 5 cups of tea every day. Because of the amount of the tea I drink I usually avoid adding sugar to it. My shelf is packed with tea and when I was living in Warsaw most of my food shelves were packed with teas!

3. Do you have any favourite type of tea? how so what?

I have a favourite type of tea for every time of the day! For the morning I like to go with classic English breakfast (with no sugar) or milk oolong (my favourite type of oolong sometimes hard to find in the shops), for the lunchtime I like to go with earl grey or withe tea and for the evening I like chai with milk and honey.
I like matcha latte as well and my recent discovery is rooibos latte!

ps. right now I drink lemongrass with ginger tea <3
1. Did you know the history of discovery of tea before?

Yes, I have heard of this story before.

2. Do you like drinking tea how so how often do you drink it?

Yes, I like drinking tea very much. I drink it every day but I prefer coffee.

3. Do you have any favorite type of tea? how so what?

My favorite kind of tea is black tea. I like to drink it with honey and lemon
1. Did you know the history of discovery of tea before?
No, I didn't know the history of discovery tea before but I must admit that it is really interesting.

2. Do you like drinking tea how so how often do you drink it?
Yes, I really like drinking tea. Generally, I drink tea most often in summer and winter. In winter, I drink hot tea and I usually drink it at least 2 times a week. In the summer I drink iced tea and I drink it pretty much every day.

3. Do you have any favorite type of tea? how so what?
My favorite type of tea is definitely iced tea with raspberry juice and iced fruit. I definitely recommend giving it a try.
1.Did you know the history of discovery of tea before?

I know some basic facts about the tea history like that for a long time it was a Chinese „national” drink. The most interesting fact I’ve learned from this video is about the moment it shifted from food to drink. I would never say that it happened „only” 1,500 years ago. Also the fact about how and when tea came to be so popular in England. Because who would have thought that it was brought and spread in Europe by Dutch traders?

2. Do you like drinking tea how so how often do you drink it?

Tea is one of my favourite drinks. My Grandmother taught me to drink tea and now I drink it almost every day, even during summer. Of course it tastes best during winter when it's cold and it warms you up. Moreover, the variety of teas allows us to drink it for many different occasions.

3. Do you have any favorite type of tea?

I really enjoy drinking all types of herbs, like peppermint or melissa, but I am also a big fan of green tea and black tea. This year I've started to drink yerba mate, especially in the spring and summer period. But none of these can compare to the tea that my Grandmother prepares for me. It is a simple black tea with honey and lemon, but it is the best!

I didn’t know the history of tea discovery. I was aware that culture in Chine uncovered tea benefits and created tradition around it. I found it very interesting. I like very much those special services and sets. Little cups for tea are adorable. And whole ceremonies during making and drinking tea seems very magical.

I like drinking tea. I love black one, green, white and red. But I love more herbs. Nettle, horsetail, mint and so one. Those has less theine and makes me feel more relax. Especially balm. Recently I try to drink less coffee and herbs and tea are great exchange.

My favourite type of tea changes constantly. So right now it is black tea, but for months I drank only green tea. If I would have to choose my favourite herb right now it would be horsetail.

1. I had only general knowledge about history of tea. I knew that it has something to do with India, china and... hundred years later it become common drink around the world. So in conclusion. not much. I also knew that it was connected to huge trade between asia, europe and Americas (not USA, just americas).

2. I really do enjoy tea, although I'm more of a coffee man myself. The best tea there is (I know it's pretty subjective) is just black tea with lemon and honey. Of course there are many different kind of tea, with many unique tastes, but this one fits me best. I usually drink tea about twice a day during winter and about twice a week in the summer. It sometimes vary whenever I get tired of coffee.

3. As I mentioned above, I absolutely love simple black tea with lemon and honey. If I had to choose other one, i think I'd point to some fruity ones. Strawberry could take the lead. It tastes like summer in the winter time. I also stumbled upon weird combination: tea with milk and honey. As weird as it sounds it proved to be delicious!
1. I only knew about the popularity of tee in China and Japan. I didn't know the tale. It's also interesting how a simple drink can be used to gain power (England mostly). And there's also Boston's Tea Party.
2. Yes, I like drinking tea. I consider it as a small energy drink in the morning. I use a half-liter cup and three spoons of sugar.
3. I think I like the green tee the most. Also, grapefruit-flavored is good in my opinion. And when it comes to sweet/soda drinks the Ice Tea is my favorite. It's a pity that for over 10 years they don't make the red Ice Tea. It was perfect.
1. Did you know the history of discovery of tea before?
I have heard before, however it was interesting to refresh it. I really enjoyed watching the video

2. Do you like drinking tea how so how often do you drink it?
Yesss, I love tea I drink it maybe 3-5 times a day. I can't spend my day without tea. Usually it is black tea without sugar or black tea with milk.

3. Do you have any favorite type of tea? how so what?
I like strong tea without any flavor. I prefer just black tea with milk or green tea with cinnamon. Also I find very hard to find a good tea here with good taste.

1. Did you know the history of discovery of tea before?

The only thing I knew before watching the video was that tea comes from china and is a very old beverage. I have to admit that the history of it's spread around the globe is a very interesting topic. The fact that the Brittish used to trade opium for tea, and the repercussions of it, was a very surprising piece of information for me.

2. Do you like drinking tea how so how often do you drink it?

Yes I do enjoy drinking tea. I'm not a huge fan of the usual black tea but a good quality green tea infused with fruity flavors is one of the best beverages to grab in the morning. I don't drink it every day, rather 2 - 3 times a week.

3. Do you have any favorite type of tea? how so what?

Apart from green tea I love yerba mate tea. It differs a bit from the traditional tea since it's produced from a different plant. It is also a quite interesing beverage because of it's history.

After watching the above video, I must honestly say that so far I knew a small fraction of the history of tea. It's well known that the roots of tea came from China and that it was one of the luxury products a few centuries ago. I learned from the video that the tea trade caused the war and opium problems in China.

I love tea, in everyday life it would be harder for me to give up tea than coffee. For obvious reasons, I usually drink coffee in the morning, but start drinking tea around noon. When I'm studying or have a lot of work, a jug of this warm, aromatic drink is always accompanying me.

The current world of tea is a sea of possibilities. I love trying new blends, but usually go back to my favorite green tea. I usually choose sencha, the taste of which suits me very well.

Yes, I did, I watched a popular Ukrainian TV show where man discover different countries with expedition and one season was about China, he mentioned a lot of interesting stuff about tea and culture which Chinese people have.
Yes, I do, I drink it twice a day, after I watched that program which I mentioned, I would try Chinese original tea in a proper way “tea ceremony” and etc. It seems a little bit funny, but I saw a totally different way of having tea than we are and this is interesting.
I prefer black tea, because of the taste and also I really like puer, some kind of tea which I want to try in China one day.
@Polina Rybachuk
It's really nice that you pay so much attention to tea. When you go outside, do you also take tea in a mug with you?

@Saloni Nayi
from the perspective of the fact that you come from India and the tea culture there looks different than in Poland, do you think which country uses it more?

@Anastasiia Bida
if you like the tea ceremony have you ever used it? do you make tea in a mug as standard?

@Piotr Góralski
On the second point, I will not agree, heating the water in the kettle and throwing the tea to mug takes ~3 minutes

@Przemysław Witek
yes i also drink yerba sometimes, but this is instead of coffee rather than tea

@olga jaroń
If you are drinking tea instead of coffee now, you must try the matcha you wrote about. It is grounded tea into powder, which has as much caffeine as cup of coffee, so it will definitely stimulate you

@Viktor Ryś
Yes, white has little caffeine, but brewed for a long time (about 20 minutes) may have a lot of it, so be careful when you drink it when you sleep! I also like gyokuro because of its characteristic spinach flavor

@Mateusz Łuniewski
maybe try drinking more tea with different toppings? I think it will be better for you than you don't like ordinary

@Karol Gałązka
the vietnamese tea you mentioned has a name?
