Veganism has become more and more popular over the last years. Everyone wants to eat healthy and lead a lifestyle that doesn't t harm animals. So in order to meet those needs there were opened vegan restaurants. A few years ago they weren't so popular as these days. If you go, for example, to Krowarzywa at lunch time, there will be a queue of 15 people waiting for their burgers. So be careful in picking your eating time in this restaurant. A few years ago people who went vegan and love fast food like hot dogs or pizzas were disappointed because there weren't vegan places to eat those dishes. But in the last few years there has been opened many places with vegan pizzas, hot dogs, burgers, etc. Now I'd like to introduce to you some of these places.
Krowarzywa
It's one of the most popular vegan slow food restaurants in Warsaw. Burgers are its specialty. They have about 6 kinds of them with different kinds of bread, even gluten-free. They also have delicious sauces. The price range is about 15 zloty for a burger. My girlfriend and I are vegans so every time we take our friends there they are surprised how good vegan burgers are. The spot is quite small and austerely furnished but there is a great atmosphere. It's open until 11 pm, and what is more interesting you can meet there a lot of people at this time, not only at the weekend.
Vegemiasto
In contrast to Krowarzywa it's a typical restaurant and it's quite big. There are about 10 tables and as opposed to Krowarzywa there is a toilet. They have delicious dishes, especially cakes. Sometimes you can even eat there a cake made from only raw ingredients. If you want to spend some time with your mates, it's an ideal place for you. They have also special offer for Christmas, you can buy vegan traditional dishes for example pie or mayo. A month ago they added alcohol to their offer.
Vegan pizza
If you love pizzas, it's the best place for you. There is about 30 kinds of pizza with vegan cheese! The service is very nice and fast. The prize range is about 24 zlotys. My favorite pizza there is “Śródziemnomorskie tofu” on a thick crust. They have got great meat replacements like vegan ham or tuna, but for me it's superfluous. Maybe it will convince someone who eats meat. There are many pictures of a local artist on sale.
There are certainly more vegan restaurants; e.g. Jamniczek or Marrakesh Cafe, the last one is near the PJATK in the Millennium building.
Questions:
1. Do you eat in one of those restaurants?
2. Do you like vegan food?
3. What's your attitude to eating animals?

I'm not a vegan or a vegetarian but I eat meat occasionally and I never make it at home myself. My mother and sister are vegetarians (because they just don't like meat) and I think I could stop eating meat at all but I could never give up cheese, milk or eggs. I hope one day people will be able to create artificial meat with the same flavor and nutrition so people who like meat could eat it without killing animals.
If someone wants to try some vegan food I highly recommend a book with recipes "Jadłonomia".
I cosider myself very connected to nature and I respect it greatly. Above all, humans are omnivores. Eating meat is as natural for us as sleeping and I definitely don't think about changing my diet to vegetarian/vegan.
I love to cook and prepare meat, mostly beef, veal, venison and turkey. I also like fish and I try to buy these caught in the open ocean. I usually don't eat pork.
People don't need a lot of meat in their diet. It's the best to eat small amounts of it, but what's most important, only from good source! There is nothing healthy in eating apples covered in pesticides or chicken saturated with antibiotics.
For me vegetarianism/veganism in most of cases is only a trend, a fashion. It's like one of these 1st world problems - people are comfortable and they can afford to be picky :)
Very often inconsistency goes along with this kind of ideologies. A lot of people who call themselves (proudly) vegetarians/vegans buy laether shoes when winter comes. On the other hand there are also vegetarian fundamentalists with 'us against them' mentality. Well... I wish people are reasonable and don't look for another idea to artificially divide the society.
In fact, I like some vegetarian dishes that are not normally called in that fancy manner, for example russian dumplings! They are 'vegetarian', right? :)
For me experiencing eating fully also means trying out everything nature has to offer. The truth is humans are designed to eat food and will never stop. Eating meat was crucial for our generation to survive, stay healthy and strong and develop our brains.
In the near future though (10 years), there is a chance that people will develop cheap ways of "growing" meat from a single meat cells. What this means is that the grown meat will be as good as the traditional one, and no animals will suffer. Would you, vegans and vegetarians try eating some meat if this was possible?
I like vegan food. Vegan are potatoes, tomatoes, onions, pastas... i like that! But I also like cheese and meat and milk and eggs... so I can't imagine myself living without eating those.
My attitude towards eating animals is that the only thing that I am against of is animal cruelty and suffering. I wish all animals could have the best possible environment to live a healthy and happy life.
I've already tried vegan burgers, not in Krowarzywa, but in Chwast Food near Metro Politechnika - they're delicious, although really big and therefore hard to eat :) There are also vegan hot-dogs in a place called Jamniczek near plac Konstytucji.
Other place I like eating in is a place called Loving Hut, also near Metro Politechnika. It's Asian cuisine, but 100% vegan. My non-vegetarian friends who were there with me claimed some of the saitan "meat" resembled real meat very much. And I'm in love with their pandanus cake!
I have met a girl that is vegan and allergic to gluten and I can see how extremely hard it is to eat out... I didn't have an idea how inconvinient it might be. That's why I am really happy to see how many new places are opening nowadays.
Have you heard about Kik fit bar on ursynów?
http://www.kikfitbar.pl/
I never been there, but I have heard it is amazing! The best thing is that you can eat there REALLY healthy :) And they have choice of vegan/vegetarian/ gluten free products as well :) Quite expensive tho, but I think that possibility of eating healthy recompenses it :D
No, I don't but if one was close to my place I would try it.
2. Do you like vegan food?
I like food, any food which is tasty and healthy.
3. What's your attitude to eating animals?
My attitude is that I need to eat them, I don't like vegans who are fanatics. I might have change my diet to eat only seafood.
I do not eat a lot of meat because I do not like its taste so much. But I do not have problem with people who like to eat it.
with vegan slow food, latest is Mango, I haven't been there, yet. I like vegetarian and vegan food, I find it quite healthy. I'm not vegan neither vegetarian, but I try to eat as little meat as it is possible.
I think I'll become a pescetarian or even vegetarian one day, but I can't imagine myself without cheese or eggs. Being vegan is too much for me, but I admire such people. I would recommend you this blog with delicious vegan recipes: http://wegannerd.blogspot.com/
I like vegan food. My diet is mostly based on plant ingredients. When it comes to animal products I eat eggs only.
I don't mind people who eat animals. I can fully understand carnivores and their desire to devour meat. I chose to refrain from eating the flesh of animals simply because I do not find it tasty.
As for vegan food, I think it's great! It can be really tasty, it's definitely healthy and, judging from the photos in your article, can look gorgeous! ;) I don't eat meat often (for no specific reason, I guess I simply don't need much), but I have nothing against it in general. However, just like Paulina, I could not give up milk, eggs, cheese and other dairy products, and I love fish.
I am not agains eating animals. The most important factor is health. It is hard to change eating habits and develop balanced eating plan. In my opinion the absorption of iron is not that same from plants and from animal products. Surely we can satisfy all needs by taking vitamin supplements, but in the same time we can avoid taking pills.
Being vegetarian brings a lot of inconvenience and problems with satisfying nutrition of proteins, iron, vitamin B12, calcium and many many more. It seems reasonable only in term of vegetarianism and religion aspect.
I have never eaten in a vegan restaurant. I have never heard about this places, but I’m not interested in restaurants. I’m not a vegan, so this is the second argument why I’ve never heard about it :D I’m ordinary man who usually prepare my food at home. I usually cook dinner. I don’t eat in the restaurants. By the way I love name KroWarzywa :D Maybe I will try their food :D I eat meat and I don’t imagine my life without meat. I don’t eat every kind of meat. I usually eat meat from the rubbit the turkey and beef.
For me idea of not eating meat is so terrifying.. I even cant imagine that i wont eat meat (in any form) at least once per day! Vegan food is realy good, but it would be much better with a big, juicy cutlet :) And, as you probable guessed, i'm ok with killing animals - but without cruelity, animals should be killed fast and as much painless as possible. And regarding to VeganRestaurants - i've never been in such places, but i would like to give it a try :)
Personally, my diet contains everything :) I like many tastes, meat is one of them, but I really enjoy vegan propositions - these dishes are very filling and healthy. Menu in restaurants always contains creative propositions for meal. I like it. I must visit Krowarzywa, I heard lots of positive opinion about this place. Your presentation confirmed that :)
Recently I switched from salmon to tuna. It seems that it is healthier because it is not grown, it only lives in the wild...What do you think about it?
I understand people who do not eat meat and I have nothing against it. I even have some friends vegans. For me to start a vegan diet would be very difficult. In my opinion, (as already said several people) eating / not eating meat is morally difficult subject.
Speaking of vegan burgers - I've recently come across a great and very simple recipe for carrot/millet (? - kasza jaglana) burgers, you can find it here: www.jadlonomia.com/2012/03/najlepsze-wegeburgery-na-swiecie.html I love jadlonomia blog and I own the book written by it's author Marta Dymek. I have cooked countless things from her blog and the recipes always work. I love her bean/pear pâté, lentil pâté, vegan smalec, sweets etc.
Vegan food is very healthy! I cook frequently and I try out a lot of new recipes. Currently I am fascinated by vegan cuisine and I constantly discover something new, some new uses for everyday fruits vegetables. Even though I mix vegan food with meat, I consider myself more aware of what I eat and how it influences me.
For cooking at home, I recommend jadlonomia.com (also the book!) and kwestiasmaku.pl (zielony środek). I've also got a Paul McCartney book - "Meat Free Monday Cookbook". McCartney persuades people to eat less meat: "global livestock industry is responsible for up to a fifth of all greenhouse gas emissions, either through nitrous oxide from animal slurry, methane from animals’ rears and carbon dioxide from crops to feed farmed animals.
In the book’s foreword, Sir Paul explains how by going vegetarian for just one day a week, people can 'make a huge difference for the better and set a new pattern for the future of this beautiful planet that we all inhabit'." I like the idea behind this book and also that it is divided into chapters referring to the four seasons - it teaches how to eat seasonal ingredients. There are five recipes for meals for each Monday of the year.
I've never been in any of Warsaw vegetarian restaurants, but I'd like to eat there and now I know where to go :)
I've never eaten it in Warsaw, but I've eaten it in Odessa, Ukraine very often.
I don't mind vegan foods, but I'm not a big fan of these types of diets. Rather, I am a person who can't imagine a diet without meat. Of course I love eating fruits and vegetables, however, I believe that a meal without meat is not a full-fledged.
I am also a regular in Marrakesh near our school. The food is really fresh and I am crazy about their specific, intensive, robust flavour. They have also very attractive lunch offer, but mostly I choose just the main dish just for 15 pln. I recommend this place for everyone who is into eastern cuisine.

I strongly agree with your point that the Strong Relationships with your customer is the key,and Use the Language Your Customers Use. These two points are the main key points which we have to focus in B2B Marketing.
