I never listened to any podcasts and I don't believe I ever will. I heard the term before and had an idea what podcasts are. Obviously the presentations showed me some new things, but I still don't think I will look into the matter. I think mainly because I prefer to read about news and new things. I'm not a person that follows information daily, I'm more the kind of person that once in a while reads about all the things that happened since the last time I checked. Also I have long discussion nearly every evening with my parents, who are always well informed about the current events, to they are some sort of podcast for me :P. I do have a thing I am very passionate about, but I already made 3 presentations about that during this course so I think It's enough!

I haven't ever listen podcasts and there is no reason behind it. It is hard for me to listen something different than music and do something like working or learning, so I don't have many occasions to listen something like podcasts. I'm passionate about many things, about some of them I made presentations (decoupage, coca-cola). In most cases for me learning is having fun, because I've choosen college which are interesting to me.

I have listened some podcasts, most of them was about paranormal stuff which I was interested in some time ago. Right now, I don't really listen to them anymore and I think I would rather listen to recording.

I tried watching some podcasts a few years ago but not much came out of it. I watched a series about starting a consulting business which was nice because it dealt with more general problems. Problems like how to find quality customers. I couldn’t focus on anything else while listening though and other materials were the same. It wasn’t something I had to do so I eventually stopped.

Do you listen to podcasts? If you do - what are your favorite ones? If you don’t - is there a specific reason?
I never tried and I never will. Why? There is no reason. I am just not interested in podcasts. I heard about it some time ago but there is nothing special and interesting for me.

Are there any Internet shows you listen to / watch regularly that are not podcasts? Which ones? How are they distributed?
I watch TV sometimes and some TV series but not Internet ones. I don't really know any Internet show to listen...

I come out in this post as a hardcore podcasts junkie / podcast nerd. I don’t think I ever did talk about this to the extent before. Do you have things in your live that you are as passionate about? Movies? TV shows? Books? Music bands? Video games?
Answer is simple and I must extend this sentence to meet the requirements of 4 lines so the answer is: DOTA!! :D

Week 12 (12.01-18.01.15) Are you an early bird or a night owl ?

Owls are nocturnal creatures. They’re wide awake at night and they sleep during the day. If this sounds like bliss to you, then, like about 20 percent of the population who find themselves most active at around 9 pm, you may fall into the same category as our feathered friend. Night owls often have difficulty waking up in the morning, and like to be up late at night.  Studies of animal behaviour indicate that being a night owl may actually be built into some people’s genes. This would explain why those late-to-bed, late-to-rise people find it so difficult to change their behaviour. The trouble for night owls is that they just have to be at places such as work and school far too early. This is when the alarm clock becomes the night owl’s most important survival tool. Experts say that one way for a night owl to beat their dependence on their alarm clocks is to sleep with the curtains open. The Theory is that if they do so, the morning sunlight will awaken them gently and natura...

Week 11 [03-09.06.2019] The problem with ecological cars emission in UK

The problem with ecological cars emission in UK Since the adoption of the European Emission Allowance Directive in the European Parliament, all car makers have tried to submit. Since 1992, the Euro I standard has been in force, which limited the emission of carbon monoxide to the atmosphere. The Euro VI standard currently applies, which limits the series of exhaust gases. These include: hydrocarbons, nitrogen and carbon oxides, and dust.   The most significant change was brought by the Euro IV standard. For the first time it introduced the limitation of nitrogen oxides, which are responsible for the harmful compounds of smog.   What is smog?   Smog consists of sulfur oxides, nitrogen and carbon. In addition, solid substances such as suspended dust (PM). Dust suspend in atmospheric aerosols may be in liquid and solid form. These can be particles of sea salt, clouds from the Sahara and artificial compounds made by people. These compounds...
