We all know what a tattoo is and there are a lot of opinions about having a least one.
People born in the early 20 century have mostly bad opinions about them but with time this has changed really quickly.
20 years ago tattoos were still known as a gang or prison “sign” and I heard some people telling me that when they were going out of the house they covered their tattoos not to catch any attention. Also tattoos were not accepted at work .
Now everything is changing, still there is more tolerance. Tattoos have become now beautiful art on human skin. More and more people want to have at least one tattoo. To live this experience .It makes people excited to make such a change to their body’s and know that this will stay with them forever. This topic is becoming more and more attractive and there are more and more tattoo studios that are open every year ! Many artists develop their own style and clients search for that perfect style, design. It has become really popular now and we can see young people that have almost their entire body’s covered in multiple different tattoos. Most of people after their first tattoo want to have a second one , and then another, and then thinking about a whole arm or leg .
So the question is, are tattoos addictive ?
First, it can be an addiction to create your appearance, to show what you are into. What is your style, passion. Expressing yourself through drawings, paintings on your skin and the feeling that your body is full now.
Second, I think that the pain experience which, people are a little bit afraid of but then it appears that it’s not actually that bad, it attracts people for making more and more tattoos. The satisfaction of “surviving” that pain makes a person feel stronger.
Thirdly, maybe the pain is addictive and during a tattoo session when the needle goes to the skin, the body produces endorphins because of the excitement of having something “rebelious” on your body.
Questions:
1. Do you have any tattoos and if yes , how do you feel about them ?
2. Do you have more plans or the need to have another one?
3. Do you think in 50 years tattoos will still be that popular, or it will change ?

In future tattoos will definitely be a thing, i guess incs will change to something like micro monitors under your skin to represent you mood or mare it look alive with its own character.
2. As for me it is weird to do tattoo when you don't have your money, especially when it is done against parents will. That's why I prefer to make them when I will fell myself absolutely independent from anyone.
3. From my point of view tattoos will become even more popular, probably the method of tattooing may change, but popularity will only grow. Reason for this is a huge market of artificial body-parts (cyborg-hand. -legs etc) that may appear in this 50 years and surely you will want to make it unique somehow.
No, I don’t have any tattoos. A few years ago I was thinking about making some, but finally I changed my mind.
Do you have more plans or the need to have another one?
Currently I don’t have plans to have any. I don’t see any reasonable reason.
Do you think in 50 years tattoos will still be that popular, or it will change ?
I think in 50 years tattoos will still be popular or maybe even more, because many people like its.
2. Do you have more plans or the need to have another one?
I don’t have any tattoos and i’m a bit sceptical of them, mostly because I don’t think they will suit me. To add i’m not sure if i want to change my body forever, so definitely tattoos are not my cup of tea.
3. Do you think in 50 years tattoos will still be that popular, or it will change ?
I think that they might be more popular, but i hope they will provide new method of making and removing it from your body. Then i will consider making it.
No, I do not have any tattoos, but I respect people who have ones. I find tattoos almost like clothing, it is just a way of expressing yourself.
2. Do you have more plans or the need to have another one?
I was wondering about getting one in the near future, but I feel no pressure or need whatsoever. I think it's just a matter of time, because the ideas for a tattoo are getting more brilliant these days.
3. Do you think in 50 years tattoos will still be that popular, or it will change ?
I think the future of tattoos is more about biotechnology and the way it is going to affect our bodies is just deeper - I mean closer to our bio organism. Maybe in 50 years we can make something like mini-movies on our bodies or something which depends on our own, unique DNA.
Sometimes I think about make small one but I'm still not sure for 100%.
If it comes about popularity of tattoos, I think that it was really popular 50 years ago like now but people don't have so many places to do it safety. In my opinion it will be still popular like nowadays.
I don't have any tattoos or piercings, nor do I ever plan to get any in the future.
I feel like anything I get I will deeply regret later on.
Some tatoos that are well made are quite unique and timeless. However if consider arabian invasion
and popularization of Quran and islamic religion: tatoos are going to be permanently banned.
So why i have none first of all im too fat so any tatto work i would have done would be basically wasted if i gain or loose more weight (and i plan on loosing alot).
Secondly im (no kidding) scared of needles, i can work with non protected saw blades, chop wood, do tricks with my knife even cutting myself in the process but needles scare me.
So about that addiction to tattoos, mi friend has a lot of them, like 20+ small and big ones, and she literally runs out of proper skin space for his upcoming projects. I would not call it addiction, i would call it simply art and a way of expressing yourself. All of her tattoos have meaning, a unique story behind them and i loved every one of those.
I feel like tattoos will never go out of being popular, because they are very permanent way of expressing yourself, a way to remember. What i think is that we will find non iron based way of making them, thus making them safe for Magnetic resonance imaging.
yeah, i have 2 tattoos and i feel great. I think, that if you want to remember something you need to save it somewhere.
2. Do you have more plans or the need to have another one?
Honestly, i was a fan of tattoos about 3-4 years ago, but now, i'm not. And i still think it's a kind of self-expression you want to show and share with your friends and family.
3. Do you think in 50 years tattoos will still be that popular, or it will change ?
Definitely this trend will be changed like another trends that we were witnessed. But i'm not sure for 100% percent.
Hmmm, tattoo has nothing to do with popularity for me. It's something personal and I don't think about it like "Ohh, look at me! I have tattoos!". It's a kind of way to express oneself.
50 years is a lot of time. However, looking back at previous 50 years and taking into account how tattoos are perceived today. I don’t think they will become any more popular than they are now.
2. Yes. I want to have, but I don't know what it will be
3. They will always be popular. It is some kind of your personal sign. Maybe it will be easier to erase ink from your body.
2. As I said already, I don't have objections to tatoos and someday I think that I will decide to make one for myself.
3. It is hard to predict what will be in fashion in 50 years because I have problems to predict what I will eat tomorrow but I feel that tattoos will be in fashion because it is in human culture since many, many years.
I don't have tattoos and i don't even think to put them on my skin! It is a choice for everyone and i chose not to put that thing on my body.
2. Do you have more plans or the need to have another one?
As i said, i don't have any tattoos. I hope i will make a right choice in the nearest future about tattoos.
3. Do you think in 50 years tattoos will still be that popular, or it will change ?
Popularity of tattoos will not be in the same condition like it is now. But i don't know anything about the future. Honestly, i don't care about it.
Tattoos are a matter of fashion, and as you know, fashion is changing, so it's hard to say what people will think about tattoos and their patterns in the future. I have recently seen a tattoo prototype with a special ink that reacts with the skin and shows mineral deficits. For example, if you lack magnesium, part of the tattoo will change color. This is a pretty cool solution in controlling your health, so maybe soon everyone will have such tattoo for health.
-no i dont have any plan for tattoos in future.
-i think it will change.
