VS is an American company that produces and sells women's underwear, clothing and cosmetics. One of the most popular exclusive lingerie companies in the world.
HISTORY
Victoria’s Secret was set up in San Francisco in 1977 by a graduate of Stanford business school - Roy Raymond. He hit on the idea of establishing lingerie business when he was looking for lingerie for his wife.
FASHION SHOWS
The company gained real fame in the mid-90s, when the models began to take part in the Victoria’s Secret fashion show. This fashion show is really amazing. It connects music, fashion, wonderful scenography and and course beautiful models. Every year there are invited model called Victoria’s Secret Angels. Being one of VS angels is a very prestigious award in the fashion world. We could admire Polish models like Anja Rubik, Magdalena Frąckowiak or Monika Jagaciak. We should be proud of them. There are 47 models and some of them are on the FORBES’ Highest-Paid Models list.
Moreover, organizers invite music stars who transform the fashion into a live concert. This is incredibly staged. concert. Singers work with models on the catwalk. Victoria’s Secret Fashion show is a big business. People around the world wait for reports from the show on TV or on the internet. We can find a lot of articles in newspapers about this show. It is a really big marketing campaign. I think that VS doesn’t focus only on underwear. Models show some costumes designed especially for the show. In this event the most important is „the envelope” and people’s feelings.

What I like about VS is that their lingerie is absolutely stunning and I really like nice underwear and I could spend hours choosing a bra.
What I don't like are the sizes... I'm sick and tired of companies not aknowledging that breasts do go beyond D cup. Just take a stroll around the city and you'll probably notice those few boutiques selling bras sized A-M or more and this is how it should be everywhere.
I could go on about this forever but I don't want to make a big off-topic subject, so I'll just sum up here. Victoria's Secret makes eye catching underwear, stunning shows (although I don't really watch those but I do appreciate the work behind them) but could focus more on their sizing.
I think there are some good companies that make nice looking underwear, with great quality but not much expensive. If I will need to choose something for my girlfierd I will prefer something less expensive and less "wow". I think the most important is that clotches should fit to person body.
There's only one sentence in your article I disagree with: "We could admire Polish models like Anja Rubik, Magdalena Frąckowiak or Monika Jagaciak. We should be proud of them." To be honest, I don't see a reason I should be proud of a model whose only connection with me is the place of birth. :)
Yes, we could admire of our Polish models. Do you know that I have never heard about Magdalena Frackowiak and Monika Jagaciak?
Victoria’s Secret fasion show must be great event. Clip which you attached shows that the atmosphere is amazing and creations are unusual and very unique.
Maybe you have never heard about M. Frąckowiak and M. Jagaciak because they rarely "speak" in the media. They aren't as commercial as Anja Rubik :)
I am not quite sure weather they sell bras in Poland tho.
But damn, the movie you posted with this amazing shop – I am jealous! We have only small ones, and I noticed we lack of some very cool things, for example I would totally buy a hoodie or some stuff for a gym... But still, I love their panties, I am absolutely in love with their beauty bags (kosmetyczki?), and there is one fragrance that is amazing and I casually use it :) But have you tried cosmetics? If so, what's your opinion?
I think every girl dreams about to look like their models. Unlike other models, VS models aren't too skinny and they are really beautiful women. I once read an article about how they look to prepare them for the show and it's quite a labored. They have a lot of hard workouts. Before the show they have even determined how much water they can drink of the day.
Of course, before I started writting this comment, I spend a lot of time watching old Victoria's Secret Shows on Youtube. It's the same type of entertainment as browsing the Vogue magazine.
I have to add, that the way models move on the catwalk, it is a nice change during fashion shows. They are joyful, smiling, spontaneous (of course it is directed before) and they interact with the musicians on stage.
And the show with Adam Levine is one of my favourites Victoria's Secret shows too.
I don't watch the shows anymore but it's always a pleasure to look at their models!
