Owls are nocturnal creatures. They’re wide awake at night and they sleep during the day. If this sounds like bliss to you, then, like about 20 percent of the population who find themselves most active at around 9 pm, you may fall into the same category as our feathered friend. Night owls often have difficulty waking up in the morning, and like to be up late at night. Studies of animal behaviour indicate that being a night owl may actually be built into some people’s genes. This would explain why those late-to-bed, late-to-rise people find it so difficult to change their behaviour. The trouble for night owls is that they just have to be at places such as work and school far too early. This is when the alarm clock becomes the night owl’s most important survival tool. Experts say that one way for a night owl to beat their dependence on their alarm clocks is to sleep with the curtains open. The Theory is that if they do so, the morning sunlight will awaken them gently and natura...

Although the Internet is a great place to find information and friends, some people using it can be some frustrated jerks that can't find satisfaction in their life and find that the internet is a easy way to get rid of their frustration. It's not like this wasn't happening before. It's just that the internet makes it easier for these people to harm others.
I think everybody has been a victim of trolling if he has used the internet for more than just checking your mail. In my opinion it is normal, that every time you decide to go in a place, were you must comfort various people you should be prepared, that not everybody will be as nice as you would like them to be. Trolling has been around before the internet, only it wasn't called trolling.
Trolling on the internet is another topic. For me internet trolls are people who are bored and have nothing better to do. Maybe they are not brave enough to troll in real world.
Frustrated people have a natural tendency, people without own lives. Stupid people.
2. What stimulates such behaviours (maybe this is not only about a person's character, but also comes from papers, TV news, etc.)?
In my opinion only person`s character. Maybe their parents made some mistakes during brining up.
3. Have you ever been a victim of trolling (or have you trolled someone)?
No and no. Fortunately. But I think it is because I avoid places in the Internet where we can write anonymously. In my opinion everyone can say anything about me but please first tell my how you are.
4. Do you see any positive sides of trolling?
Described stupid frustrated people can feel better for one second. That is all.
5. Do you think that removing anonymity from the internet would counteract trolling? If so, do you see any downsides of revealing your identity?
I think so. I can even quote real examples proving that it is a good way. I often visit cgm.pl, the website about music, probably you know it. Currently they have Facebook comments system, before they had own system with standard nickname and it was not possible to read those trash-posts. Currently is better even if still trolls can create fake Facebook accounts. This example probably shows funny thing, maybe a lot of trolls are so stupid and they think that passing real name an surname is required on Facebook
I see the main downside: the Internet would tell us too much about us. I see a need of removing anonymity only in mainstream websites like onet.pl, gazeta.pl etc. I think on very specialized forums like moto, medical, it the trolling doesn’t appear or is very rare.
Yes, I think so. People feel better if other people think they are smarter and they feel smarter themselves if they can intelligently discuss.
2. What stimulates such behaviours (maybe this is not only about a person's character, but also comes from papers, TV news, etc.)?
In my opinion it's social reward for trolling which stimulates it the most. People like good trolling, so many people follow this path.
3. Have you ever been a victim of trolling (or have you trolled someone)?
Sure, it happens all the time.
4. Do you see any positive sides of trolling?
It's fun :)
5. Do you think that removing anonymity from the internet would counteract trolling? If
so, do you see any downsides of revealing your identity?
It's impossible to remove anonymity from the Internet in the first place. If it's going to happen - people will build another Internet independently.
People feel inviolable in internet because you can always stay anonymous. Also what is more fun than watching people getting angry because of what someone is saying? I don't think people have a tendency to troll, but maybe everyone has an urge to try it at least once.
2. What stimulates such behaviours (maybe this is not only about a person's character, but also comes from papers, TV news, etc.)?
As I said, you are anonymous in the internet. You can offend almost anyone and you won't get caught by them. You can be a dodger without danger of being beaten up.
3. Have you ever been a victim of trolling (or have you trolled someone)?
Everyone using any social media had to be a victim. At least once. Same with me :) Armand Stańczak for the annual best troll rewards.
4. Do you see any positive sides of trolling?
Trolling can be fun, even if you aren't the one trolling. It's like a good stand up.
5. Do you think that removing anonymity from the internet would counteract trolling? If so, do you see any downsides of revealing your identity?
I think the only thing that would change is that trolls would spend more time on picking their victims. For example someone from Etiopia who will never come to kick my ***.
1. Why do you think this is happening? Do you think people have a natural tendency for trolling? Naah
2. What stimulates such behaviours (maybe this is not only about a person's character, but also comes from papers, TV news, etc.)? trolling is an art by itself. It cannot be taught, it cannot be seen it cannot be found. you have to be born with it. Just like mariah carey
3. Have you ever been a victim of trolling (or have you trolled someone)? There are two totally different questions. It's like comparing CIA to NSA.
4. Do you see any positive sides of trolling? Maybe yes, maybe no, maybe baby I don't know
5. Do you think that removing anonymity from the internet would counteract trolling? If so, do you see any downsides of revealing your identity? Never stopped me....... and I love it!
Macha smells.
