Week 4: Introverts and the Internet

I would like you to read/watch and comment on/discuss the presentation Introverts and the Internet. You will find it at

According to the limited version test my personality is ESFP. It's actually pretty accurate, I think so at least. Anyways I defiantly don't think of myself as an introvert. I love being with the people I like and feel really bad if I spend even 1 day in my house alone. If that is the case I often tend to look for somebody to talk to, even over the phone or through skype. I good thing is also to play some games over the internet, but I still like meeting people "in person" much more. That's why I don't think I could work from my home all the time. I like working both alone or in groups. At my current job I actually work alone, but I go to the office to do so (even though I could work from my home) and I like it that way, because at least I'm in the company of other people and that alone changes a lot for me.
I have a group of friends whom I know about 8 years and all this time we meet once a week. When it rarely happens, that we can't meet one week I actually miss them. And they feel pretty much the same way. Anyways, none of the people between my friends described themselves as introverts, before or now.

Test is quite general but my result, ISTJ, is more less what is me. i might be bold but in my opinion being an introvertism is an attribute of higher intelligence people. Most of people are stupid so logic tells that high inteligence persons will prefer to be alone rather than be surrounded by morons. Internet gives us possibility to stay in touch with whole world without seeing other people in person. It can create intoverts but that's called progress.

According to the free test I’m a ISTJ. First of all, not really a test as a verification. I’m not really fond of such things cause since I’m a lefty, and by definition I’m both an introvert and extrovert. Technical and artistic. So yeah, I could choose any of those letter and still could easily explain my motives. We shouldn’t label ourselves, because then we only think about ourselves that particular way. I’m an introvert, so I cannot be bold and outgoing, or I’m an extrovert so I do not need my own time with myself. Everything is not always black and white. Cheers.

ISTJ, hey, You cheated. I have the same thing. Did you really take the test? ;) Good for you though, I think.....

The test spit out ENTJ but after reading a few of the explanations I could just as easily end up elsewhere instead. Honestly, I don't like evaluating my personality because there are lots of different tests for that. I already had to fill some since the beginning of the school term. It's slowly getting ridiculous. You can change your behaviour if you want to but you don't have to. People vary too much to be categorised into just a few groups.
That quick test described my character as ISTJ and that’s peaty accurate description of me. But I really don’t think that such a test can tell anything about you. There are so many possibilities, so many different situations in life that (in my opinion) it is impossible to describe anybody with just one word.

In my case it’s exactly like that. Sometimes I like to go to a party with my friends, or to a bar for couple of beers (nonalcoholic of course), but sometimes (especially after a really hard at work ) I like to close myself at home, unavailable for the entire world, turn of my cell phone and read some good book or play computer games for the entire night. If that’s makes me an introverted person than so be it. But there is never one distinct pattern of behavior for one person, sometimes you act like that sometimes you do exactly the opposite.

I think that making decisions based on thinking is way better than depending just on emotions. I followed my brain my entire life and it has never failed me :)

It is good to know more about my personality. Sometimes I was thinking about, how much in contact with people mean to me, and how close I can let them get to me, but I've never been able to evaluate it, so thoroughly thank you for this article!
We know that people cannot be grouped in such a simple way. At the moment we have over six billion people and everyone has experienced something different and live in a different ways. I believe, that in a general sense this division works, but nothing more than that.
I think in my circle live both introverts and extroverts. We can't live permanently with each other, but can't live without each other too :)

I must admit that I never thought about my theoretical personality type but according to test mentioned in presentation my result is ESTP which is pretty close to real life ;) but still I am not sure about accuracy of this kind of tests… I never liked those… In my opinion we can’t divide people into two black/white groups and that’s it… Everyone is different and simply may not fit into this divisions.
If I remember well my friends never spoke about introverts before but I will ask them someday :)

Week 12 (12.01-18.01.15) Are you an early bird or a night owl ?

Owls are nocturnal creatures. They’re wide awake at night and they sleep during the day. If this sounds like bliss to you, then, like about 20 percent of the population who find themselves most active at around 9 pm, you may fall into the same category as our feathered friend. Night owls often have difficulty waking up in the morning, and like to be up late at night.  Studies of animal behaviour indicate that being a night owl may actually be built into some people’s genes. This would explain why those late-to-bed, late-to-rise people find it so difficult to change their behaviour. The trouble for night owls is that they just have to be at places such as work and school far too early. This is when the alarm clock becomes the night owl’s most important survival tool. Experts say that one way for a night owl to beat their dependence on their alarm clocks is to sleep with the curtains open. The Theory is that if they do so, the morning sunlight will awaken them gently and natura...

Week 11 [03-09.06.2019] The problem with ecological cars emission in UK

The problem with ecological cars emission in UK Since the adoption of the European Emission Allowance Directive in the European Parliament, all car makers have tried to submit. Since 1992, the Euro I standard has been in force, which limited the emission of carbon monoxide to the atmosphere. The Euro VI standard currently applies, which limits the series of exhaust gases. These include: hydrocarbons, nitrogen and carbon oxides, and dust.   The most significant change was brought by the Euro IV standard. For the first time it introduced the limitation of nitrogen oxides, which are responsible for the harmful compounds of smog.   What is smog?   Smog consists of sulfur oxides, nitrogen and carbon. In addition, solid substances such as suspended dust (PM). Dust suspend in atmospheric aerosols may be in liquid and solid form. These can be particles of sea salt, clouds from the Sahara and artificial compounds made by people. These compounds...
