The problem with ecological cars emission in UK Since the adoption of the European Emission Allowance Directive in the European Parliament, all car makers have tried to submit. Since 1992, the Euro I standard has been in force, which limited the emission of carbon monoxide to the atmosphere. The Euro VI standard currently applies, which limits the series of exhaust gases. Everyone travels as they like and depends on that they get different experiences :)
But don't take me wrong, It's not like I am against it. By all means, if people like travelling that way or it's the only way they can afford to travel due to various limitations, that they should do it. Personally I would never like to travel this way. I much rather travel with a group of dear friends or even by myself, than with a total stranger. Not that I don't like meeting new people, I don't like being dependant from strangers.
I know that you will call me the kid of our consumer way of life, but I’m thinking this way. When you are young and have 2 months of holiday hitchhiking could be a thing for you, but when you have family and kid (of kids) I just can’t imagine going on a family vacations in this way. Those precious 2 weeks in summer time is a time for me to recharge my batteries for the rest of the year and I want to spend them as jauntily as I possibly can.
If I were to go on a hichhiking journey I would like to go to Vladivostok. I would like to travel through Russia and see what is hidden in this huge part of continent
