Week 7 [04-10.05.2020] Can you draw?

I have encountered a bunch of people that say they can’t draw. A lot of them thinks that you must be talented in order to be able to so. Other say that it takes a lot of practice. To be frank, those people have a point, it is impossible to just take a pen and draw a masterpiece without experience. But what if I tell you, that all of us can draw? I highly encourage you to take a pen, a piece of paper and have a look at the video.

And now for some questions:

  1. Did you think that you could draw before watching the video? Has the video changed your point of view?
  2. Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?
  3. What do you think about the final message of the video?

Comments

1. Did you think that you could draw before watching the video? Has the video changed your point of view?
Yes, there is a lot of tutorials on youtube and you can easly learn how to draw something in few minutes. It didn't change my point of view.

2. Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?
I was drawing when i was younger. Now i don't need this to much and even when i have to draw something it is not a complicated. Probably it depends of interests and your job or projects.

3. What do you think about the final message of the video?
I agree we should challenge ourselves and try new things from time to time.

1. I never liked drawing. After watching the movie I'm more convinced to draw but I have a different hobby so I don't think I would suddenly start drawing.

2. Of course, drawing can be a useful skill. You can use it to design your home, garden, or when you are playing pictionary. There are many professions that use this skill like architects, designers and others.

3. It's very important to believe in ourselves and try to do new things. Thanks to this, we become more confident and our mood improves. In addition, new things are fascinating.
1. I’ve seen this video about year ago and i still think that i can’t draw. It showed me that drawing can be learned like anything else just by duplicating patterns.
2. It is not crucial skill but can be useful to visualize things.
3. It is good to learn drawing.
1. I've never had a talent for drawing. I still say that, although I think I would be able to repeat the drawings from the video.
2. In my life so far, I did not have to use this skill apart from to school classes. Nevertheless, I think that this occupation positively affects the development of imagination, which we can use in every aspect of our lives, especially professional and scientific.
3. We limit ourselves many times by persuading ourselves that we cannot do something. Even if the first step does not work out, it does not mean that we will not be able to do it the next time we try. In addition, any self-limitation negatively affects our confidence.

1. Did you think that you could draw before watching the video? Has the video changed your point of view?
Yes, I like drawing. I can do it for my one or I can use a Drawing application, where I can draw more difficult pictures step by step (for example, Colosseum or Tower Bridge).
2. Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?
It depends on what you mean by the word useful :)
Drawing is not a skill like endurance, ability to fight, swimming, which can help you in an extreme situation. But it can bring you joy and satisfaction during the process. For me drawing is an antistress hobby, which helps me to relax after a hard day.
3. What do you think about the final message of the video?
I almost agree with the speaker that there are some beliefs and limiting thoughts that we could potentially challenge. We should allow ourselves just to try and begin some new activitie for us.

1. Did you think that you could draw before watching the video? Has the video changed your point of view?
I knew I could draw the only propblem is the quality of my drawings. By learning a scheme you can really improve fields in which you do not have a talent for. So yes the video changed my point of view a bit, to a more positive one.

2. Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?
Yes, it may help you during a meeting or at least to show off to the potential partner. You can also entertain kids which is also useful.
3. What do you think about the final message of the video?
Only through try and error we can practice and improve our skills for real.

1. I've always known that I can't draw. By draw I mean drawing for real. The video didn't change my mind about this topic. For sure I can follow the steps and the schematics but I wouldn't call it real drawing.

2. In some areas a good drawing skills could be useful. Not for everyone and everywhere though.

3. Believing in ourselves is crucial and we should always try things that we need to do even we feel like we can't do them. We should be practising and it will certainly have a good impact on our skills someday. We should always strive for the better.
1. Did you think that you could draw before watching the video? Has the video changed your point of view?
Yes I like to draw. When I was a child I drew a lot better, but I still have the soul of the artist and whenever I have the opportunity to draw I try to prove myself.

2. Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?
Yes, it could be very useful especially when you want explain something to someone but it's hard to put it into words.

3. What do you think about the final message of the video?
I agree that we should try new things. The fact that we cannot do something results from the fact that we do not try to do it, because we are afraid that we won't be able to.

I hope I can draw. Otherwise my whole “animating + drawing” career would turn out be a disaster :D Yes, it definitely gave me something to think about.

Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?

Well, considering the fact that I’m an animator I do think that drawing can be a useful skill to have :D It helps me express my ideas, show the concepts I have in mind, plus it’s fun!

What do you think about the final message of the video?

I love it! It is an amazing concept to show us all that most of the limitations are created in our heads. These people can’t draw professionally, but they did draw, and they did it without hesitation. So how many things are there that we won’t do professionally, but can do just to make ourselves happy, content with who we are. Most people can’t dance either, they can’t do it as professionals or TV stars. But they can learn to do it good enough to sweep your annoying auntie off her feet during your cousins wedding ;)

1. Did you think that you could draw before watching the video? Has the video changed your point of view?

This gentleman shows in a few steps that people can draw, just don't know how yet. Everyone would draw it all without any effort without watching the film. And if you want more, you can watch even more movies, read more books, just draw more, learn, etc. The film did not so much teach you how to draw as it taught you how to think, how to give up misconceptions. Learning to draw at a good level is a matter of a month's drawing 20 minutes a day, and then you can castrate it or not, this is the case with everything.

2. Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?

The ability to draw enriches the imagination, facilitates concentration, and can also be a good way to make money. Drawing skills are very desirable skills in some professions. Drawing skills are even essential for others. Therefore, when you see that your child has a talent for drawing, you should encourage them to do so. In later life, it may turn out that drawing will be his way of life and making money.

3. What do you think about the final message of the video?
I agree with that. But you have to be patient and persistent
1. No, I couldn’t draw before watching the video and I still can’t. It is not possible for me to repeat the moves he did with his pen. My hand is too stiff, and I am not skilled enough. Also, I have dysgraphia which makes my handwriting very hard to read, if I write with normal speed (if I do it very slowly, it’s ok). I tried to make those pictures as he was presenting and maybe they are not terrible, but much worse than his.

2. Yes, because even if you are not an artist, drawing is useful to express ideas. Usually it is easier to understand a diagram than written explanation. During my work as a programmer, I often encounter situations during which I have to explain something to the rest of the team, and I wish I was more manually skilled to create better diagrams during dynamic discussions.

3. It’s very deep and true. A lot of limitations are just invented by ourselves, because we don’t believe in our real capabilities.
Viktor Ryś said…
1.
Drawing is relatively easy, but to become good in doing it requires a lot of hard work.

2.
It's not that useful for me in my everyday life, but it's still a very nice hobby.
It teaches us to look at the world with a little differently, and teaches patience in trying to draw some complex objects and not getting the perspective wrong.

3.
I agree with it. Our beliefs are very important and when we say that something's not possible it certainly won't be. But by keeping our mind open and saying maybe, let's try, drawing stops being so hard.

1. Did you think that you could draw before watching the video? Has the video changed your point of view?
Yes, because I used to draw some sketches before, so actually the video is not for me, but I think it would change my point of view if I watched it before I drew.

2. Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?
It is not that much useful skill for me, I only treated it as a hobby and didn't improve my drawing skill on purpose, but it can be useful for many people who work as photoshop painters or 3d modelers, etc.

3. What do you think about the final message of the video?
I agree with him, mostly, the denial of any thing comes from our psychology, not from the thing itself. But all things have to start small and be patient, don't learn to run before learning to walk.

Did you think that you could draw before watching the video? Has the video changed your point of view?
I knew I can copy from some pictures, however I couldn`t draw using my imagination, this is not an easy task I think. This video changed my perception of drawing, this video makes things easy and you start believing that you have a talent and that is not as complicated as it might look like.
Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?
Yes, I think drawing is a useful skill as it can be used as meditating technique, also that is good for those people who want to develop themselves in graphics, those who make illustrations, create a design. It forces our imagination to work, this is a great way to improve your creative skills and start thinking in a different way. This can be really helpful for personal development and solving problems.
What do you think about the final message of the video?
I think that indeed we restrict ourselves from starting doing something, because of a belief that this is not possible to achieve, that is not for me, I am not as talented as others or someone is doing that for many yeras and I won`t catch up. This lecturer proves that everything is possible depending on the approach you use for doing this or that activity.

Did you think that you could draw before watching the video? Has the video changed your point of view?
Not really. I knew I could do sketchy cartoons, I in fact do this sometimes when bored. But when I hear that "Someone can draw" I picture a man painting the ceiling of a Sistine Chapel. Maybe that is just wording issue.
Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?
It would, has many applications. One is visualizing the things you try to explain to people.
What do you think about the final message of the video?
About limiting beliefs? I knew about them already, this is too obvious, bum many simply do not want to overcome them.
1. Absolutely not. I have never been able to draw and I do not intend to do or learn it. Drawing is not what I could like. It is not for me.

2. Of course, for the right people, drawing is a very important skill, e.g. for police sketch artists. Thanks to this, for example, you can better visualize the criminal and increase the chance of his capture before he does more damage.

3. I think this is such a talk to motivate people to act, in this case, for example, to draw.
1. Did you think that you could draw before watching the video? Has the video changed your point of view?
I think that probably yes, but not so good. In everything I do I try to be perfect. I feared to draw first line and when I did the result was horrible. This video changed my point of view. I saw that in few simple steps I can draw a really good picture. I have fun. A good method can do miracles. My drawings don't have to be perfect.

2. Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?
I think drawing could be a very useful skill. In some situations drawings means more than empty words. We can use it in presentations to entertainment listeners. We can use it as a help tool to present situations that helps understand problem. There are a lot more areas when we could use drawings.

3. What do you think about the final message of the video?
I think that the final message is true. There are a lot things that we say that we can't do it. This is wrong. We need to try, find a good method and practice. I believe that we can do much more but we need to believe in yourself and change our thinking.
1.Did you think that you could draw before watching the video? Has the video changed your point of view?
No it did not. In my opinion everyone can draw but some poeple may not like it and that's why they don't draw.
2.Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?
No, in my opinion it is not so usefull as other skills. My grandmother is an artists and she is very talented. It can be really good for yourself but I am more focused on developing skills that will make better to deal with our world.
3.What do you think about the final message of the video?
It is a talk of motivation. It inspire people to try draw something after watching the video.
Did you think that you could draw before watching the video? Has the video changed your point of view?

I am not that bad at drawing because I study at SNM so drawing was one of the obligatory things to know how to do. I used to draw for many years so there was some practise to it which made my pretty good at it. The video, however, showed my that this might not be the case. You can draw but you don't have to be amazing at it and that's great in my opinion.

Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?

Defianately yes. There are some many thoughts that you can express thanks to drawing. For example, my mother wanted to renew her kitchen. Instead of telling each other how it might look afterwards I just drew it on a piece of paper and it became our first visualisation.

What do you think about the final message of the video?

This man gave a really simple example and provided a very strong massage. I strongly stand by his statement that you have to try to know if you are good or not at something.
Did you think that you could draw before watching the video? Has the video changed your point of view?
No i cant draw. And this video havent changed my mind. Its not the hand thats drawing but its the mind that can allow to your hand to draw. On the video we get the final recipt for how to draw something and not how to think of drawing something. When you want to redraw something its prety easy but creating something new and draw that thats something.

Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?
It is a manual skill and it can be usefull in many cases for example my sister lately draw on an old rusty watering can beautifull folwers and now its no longer an old rusty watering can but very nice watering can.

What do you think about the final message of the video?
I think i can agree with that. Its our head thats limiting us and we can do much more when we will free ourselves.

1. No, I couldn't draw and I can't now either. Yes, a video showed me that maybe I can learn drawing easier than I thought previously, but I'm sure that you need time for it and talent to be really good, an artist, not an artisan.

2. Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not? It depends on the meaning of the word "useful". And other conditions like a person about which we talk, a situation, goals, cause any skill can be useful - the probability differs.

3. If not to try, you won't succeed, it's true. But the same efforts of two different people can give very different results. It's not all about trying, but you won't know the result until you observe it yourself.
Kgajewska said…
1. I think I'm not that bad at drawing, but I don't call myself an artist or expert in this area. I used to call drawing my hobby when I was younger.

2. Yes of course! Somethings i can't express my thought and it's easier to just draw the concept or idea. Drawing can be an wonderful way to communicate.

3. As most inspirational videos - it encourages you to try something new and maybe discover our hidden talents.
Pawel Bluszcz said…
1. Yes, I think I could draw anything without watching any video. After watching this video, nothing changed for me.

2. Yes, of course, drawing is a useful skill. We can use it, for example, while playing with children or just at work to illustrate something about someone. Sometimes a drawing is a better explanation than a verbal attempt to translate.

3. I think it is 100% right. To learn something you have to do it.
1 / I think it would be strange to be unsure of what I cannot draw, with an art education behind...

2 / When you draw, especially to your favorite music, time flies by, you are completely immersed in the process and you feel great. And this is not only my personal feelings. The authors of the study, published in Art Therapy1 by Girija Kaimal, Kendra Ray, Juan Muniz. The Reduction of Cortisol Levels and Participants ’Responses Following Art Making, suggested that the creative process significantly reduces stress-related hormones. Moreover, it doesn’t matter how good the final product will turn out, the action itself matters.

3 / I think this is a very important and optimistic message.

1. Did you think that you could draw before watching the video? Has the video changed your point of view?

I could never draw. The film has changed little in this matter. Maybe I'm just too old. I draw a lot but from a ruler. Technical drawings. I learned this in my youth and drawing is easy for me.
Today I draw many flowcharts and algorithms. It's simple to draw, but it's enough for me.

2. Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?

A lot of people are visual people. So drawing makes things a lot easier. Applications become simpler. Drawings explain everything.

3. What do you think about the final message of the video?

It's quite important to believe in yourself and try new things. It's just like food. You have to try.

1. Did you think that you could draw before watching the video? Has the video changed your point of view?

I have never really been interested in drawing apart from short chapter when I wanted to learn how to draw and I asked my parents to buy me a book which explained everything step by step. But at that point in time I wasn’t persistent enough to pursue that. But what I want to say is that everyone can be a drawer or designer, especially know when everything is available on the Internet so I don’t think that the video changed my point of view.

2. Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?

Yes, I think so, it can help you with explaining many things, for example at work. Some difficult domain-related subjects that would be difficult to explain or understand without a simple drawing. No surprise there are drawings in various books which explain a difficult topic.

3. What do you think about the final message of the video?

I agree with that, we need to try new things, even if we are disappointed with the final output.
1. Did you think that you could draw before watching the video? Has the video changed your point of view?
I think I could draw little bit. Simple object like bicycles, cars, faces. If the objects have some
characteristic details I could draw it with no problem. The video hasn’t changed my point of view.
2. Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?
I think it isn’t very useful skill, because you don’t really solve any problem neither in your job or regular life by drawing,
3. What do you think about the final message of the video?
I think it is wonderful message, but I think I will not become a painter anytime soon.
Hello, here are my replies to your questions!

1. Yes, I knew that I could draw even before watching this video. I've actually been drawing since the elementary school. I wanted to study graphical design but my parents talked me out of that idea and so I've became an IT gal. :) Now I am an artist as a hobbyist. The video hasn't changed my point of view especially knowing that there are many online tutorials and courses which teach you how to draw that you can take at any moment.

2. I believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have. Art doesn't know things such as language barriers. Art is universal and timeless. You can convey any message with your drawing and it can be understood by anyone. You can also use your skills to draw a map when stuck in the unknown environment. Or you can sketch some things up to save yourself from boredom. :)

3. I think that the final message of this video is great. Everyone should be open to trying out new stuff even if they are terrible at them at first. Don't ever get discouraged!

1. COOL VIDEO. Thanks for that! I’ve thought that drawing is hard, now I’ve changed my perspective 😊
2. Yes, it can be very useful because it stimulates a=our imagination.
3. That was a very wise conclusion. Really there are thousands of believes we created ourselves and which stops ours from doing lots of cool things.
By the end I would like to share my thought with you- I consider this video as one of the best TED I’ve seen. Simple, practical, and wise. Worth sharing with my friends along with a few books that I regard everyone should read.

Thank you for your comment! I have never thought about drawing as an antistress hobby, but it shows that it can be useful for all sorts of situations.
1. No, I think drawing is not for me. Of course I can draw some things like house or car but it looks like some baby draw it. I do not if I can after this video but it is interesting to try.
2. Yes for sure I think it is useful skill especially it helps to relax and it gives some kind of atmosphere where you can concentrate on your art. In my opinion when you are dealing with art it leads to the point when you can throw negative ideas from your life.
3. I like it, the message is great. I think that I would definetely try to draw and discover new side of me

1. I did think that I can draw before watching this video but not cartoons and it was actually really funny to draw along with the speaker. This video shows in a grate way that we don’t need to be pro at something to do it when it brings us joy and that not being a pro doesn’t mean that we can’t do this at all.
2. I don’t know if this can be a useful skill, but it is definitely good to know some simple patterns which can be helpful while playing charades with friends or family
3. I agree with the speaker, we tend to underestimate ourselves and to think that we are not good enough in something so eventually we stop doing this completely and that our big mistake just as I said answering the first question the fact that we are not being a pro at something doesn’t mean we can’t do this at all.

Did you think that you could draw before watching the video? Has the video changed your point of view?

Not really and after this video it didn't change my point of view. There is a lot of tutorials online to learn how to draw something but overall when you have to make something unique, your own I just can't draw it.

Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?
I think it is useful. Especially when you are teaching someone and have to explain something, it's really easy to explain something by simply drawing it.

What do you think about the final message of the video?
I agree with it completely. To learn the skill you need to start doing it urself even if you know almost nothing about it. Learn as you go as they say.
1. Did you think that you could draw before watching the video? Has the video changed your point of view?
Yes, I was drawing a lot before, moreover I was studying architecture, so it is not a surprise for me that somebody can draw something like this presented in the video, just following a good schema.

2. Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?
It depends, what do you like to do or where are you working. I find it very creative because you should have a big imagination. For many people it would be just waste of time, but I recommend to try it, before we delete it from our to-do list. I am a good example of it. I started a year before I was going to the studies, just because I love architecture.

3. What do you think about the final message of the video?
I agree with the final message, there are no limits for people and we should try and gain experience in every interesting topic.
1. Did you think that you could draw before watching the video? Has the video changed your point of view?
To be honest it depends what do you consider to be "drawing skill". It is very hard to compare f.e. some realistic art to work of comic book author. I think that the most important is idea, your own style and only good drawer are capable of developing those. Of course if you can draw something not very unique but which looks nice you probabgly draw good aswell. As you can see it is hard to definy what good drawing skills are
2. Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?
It might be. Even if you woulnd't use it too often it helps you in being more creative which is very important thing. Probably you might describe something better being able to draw it just to visualize it. I don't know to be honest cause I don't draw very well.
3. What do you think about the final message of the video?
It is important to take on new challanges from time to time. If you don't develop you may become not happy about your life, both personal and work.
1. When it comes to painting, the video did not change my mind. On the internet, youtube has many videos showing how to easily draw, for example, animals or characters from fairy tales. I tried several times and it is not so difficult, after 2 or 3 tries it was quite good.
2. I don't know if it's useful every day, it's hard to say. Certainly, this skill allows you to be more creative and inventive. I also think it is useful when you have children.
3. Of course, I agree with the final message of the film: We do not know how much we can afford in life. For fear of laziness we sometimes say "no, it won't work". Everything is really in our heads, willingness and good will. We should live with the attitude that nothing is impossible. You always have to at least try it if it doesn't work, at least we won't regret it. And maybe this is how we will find hidden talent. Who knows.
Did you think that you could draw before watching the video? Has the video changed your point of view?

I thought I didn't. And I still think that I can't. Even these simple lines made by me were all quirky. However, it was quite fun.

Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?

Yes, and it is in many fields. Sometimes a quick sketch to represent an idea is better than the words. Even as a programmer when drawing some models on the meetings it's better to draw them clean so that everyone can understand them.

What do you think about the final message of the video?

I think in my case when I was looking at my garbage drawings it got a little depressing when he was saying that I shouldn't think that there are many unjustified thoughts limiting myself when clearly my limiting thoughts on my drawing ability were right. But I think that it was a good message.

Did you think that you could draw before watching the video? Has the video changed your point of view?
Yes, before I go here in and watch the video, I already saw the name of your post and thought about what I can’t draw. In fact, I still think so, although this video should help to believe that it is not. I just remember and imagine the works of famous artists and I think that I will have to work very hard and long to reach at least part of their level.

Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?
It seems to me that this is a very useful skill. Firstly, it can be useful at work. Especially if your work is related to a creative profession such as a designer or fashion designer or a specialist in visual effects and so on. Secondly, the drawing process develops the brain very well, not only from the point of view of its development, but also has a positive effect on the psychoemotional state of a person.

What do you think about the final message of the video?
I agree with this message. We must believe in our strengths and believe in what we do or want to do. Moreover, we must challenge ourselves whenever it is possible.

1. Did you think that you could draw before watching the video? Has the video changed your point of view?
Yes. I think I can draw. It's not the best in the world, but it is enough for me. I can draw out my ideas and make schematics. I am really good at photo manipulation in Photoshop. This video did not change my mind about anything. There's lots of videos on any given topic, so that you can improve your craft. I think what skill I do have is enough for me.

2. Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?
Of course, but it isn't the end all, be all. There are other skills that are useful too. I must say that it is indeed very helpful to have this skill. I also think that drawing is one of the many skills that can help with memory storage and processing.
3. What do you think about the final message of the video?
I agree. To learn a skill you must practice a lot. There is no one in the world who is perfect at something and they didn't practice at all to get there. Everything takes time and patience. You must also be willing to improve the skill you are trying to learn, and you must never give up no matter how difficult you think it is at the time. Everyone starts somewhere.

Thank you for your comment! Yes, the thing about limiting beliefs is too obvious, but i think that the first step in overcoming them is realising that you are in fact limited by them, and the video in my opinion does a great job showing you just that.

Thank you for your comment! That's great that you realised that your drawing don't need to be perfect, and i hope that will come in handy in the future.

Thank you for your comment! It's a shame that you don't believe drawing to be a useful skill. I personally believe it to be a really great tool to express yourself, even if you are not really skilled in drawing.

Thank you for your comment! I think that the message is not only about trying something to see if you are good at it, but also about knowing that it's okay to fail sometimes, and don't give up just because you wasn't achieve resaults you wanted.

Thank you for your comment! That's an interesting view on drawing. I don't agree with it 100%, but you are right that it's not the hand that draws, but it's our own mind that's allows it to do so.

Thank you for your comment! That's great that you find drawing useful. I also don't consider myself to be an expert in drawing, I can't even say that my drawings are any good, but i still find it very useful in my life.

Thank you for your comment! It's a great way of thinking about drawing, that the final product doesn't matter as much as the action itself, i highly agree with that.

Yes, I knew I can draw. I wal interested in painting when I was younger.

I don't think that drawing can be any useful really. Not in modern society. It can only be useful if you can enjoy yourself while doing it. It applies not only to drawing, I think that many forms of art are pretty much useless because of abundance of it. Art is useful as a hobby nowadays.

I think that on the trail to success the first barrier is in your mindset. If you can overcome it - later on you will have to deal with other difficulties. But it is important to lay a beginning of any doing by deciding to accomplish it.

Thank you for your comment! There are a lot of different types of drawings, and technical ones are one of them. Even when using a ruler it still takes some skill to draw exactly what you want, so i believe that you in fact can draw.

Thank you for your comment! I agree that everyone can become a drawer or designer if he wants to. Drawing is something that takes a lot of time to learn, and everybody can become skilled in it.

Thank you for your comment! I don't, believe that anyone will become a painter just by watching this video, but the message, in my opinion, is not only about drawing, but about your everyday life.

Did you think that you could draw before watching the video? Has the video changed your point of view?
I must say that I have some skills in the field of drawing, so I wasn’t totally amateur before watching the video. I always liked to draw some scene from anime or just some examples of nature. With that in mind, I can’t truly tell that watching this video changed anything for me, because I never had a problem with drawing. But surely it was fun to watch how the speaker showed that almost everyone can draw something interesting, no matter the skills or experience.
Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?
Of course it can be a useful skill. There are some jobs that depends on such skill, for example an architect or designer at almost any field. What is more, it can be also important in some not so obviuus positions, as teachers – when they can use drawing during teaching, or application developers – by drawing they can show the concept of an app or show how – in their minds – it should be looking during using it.
What do you think about the final message of the video?
I think that everyone – inluding me – can agree that it is extremely imporant to be open to new things and try to gain some new skill. You never should be scared of trying new activities and you never know if they wouldn’t be perfect match for you. What is more, learning new skills stimulate our brain, so it is also very useful form of spendig our free time.

Thank you for your comment! I like your way of thinking about drawing, that the language barrier doesn't matter here and it is universal. That's a great way of thinking about it.
1. The point of view described in the video is quite interesting but some people are really not able to visualise their thoughts properly. I play drawing charades with friends from time to time, for some, it is impossible to capture the features of the given phrase.

2. The skill of visualisation is very important to me, however, I'm a 3D artist so I wouldn't be able to do my work without this skill. Although I was never very good with hand drawing, while working on a computer you can constantly adjust all your lines so they look better.

3. Challenging oneself from time to time is very important in my opinion. I have a habit of doing it. Let's say somebody suggests something I don't feel quite sure about, such as taking a part in the competition. If I manage to do the task, even poorly, I feel good about myself.

Thank you for your comment! Yes, drawing can be relaxing. In my opinon though, it can be useful also for expressing yourself.

Thank you for your comment! It's a shame that the video didn't change your point of view. In my opinon, you don't have to be able to draw "nicely" to be able to draw, it's more about expressing yourself.

Thank you for your comment! Yes, thinking about if you can in fact draw is dependant on the way you think about it.

Thank you for your comment! Yes, i also believe it can be useful if you have children, it's a great way to spend time with them.
1. Did you think that you could draw before watching the video? Has the video changed your point of view?
Yes, I think so. I am at SNM department and I used to draw since I was a child. And this video hasn't changed my point of view.

2. Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?
Yes, I do. It can be useful because it can make people creative and open minded.

3. What do you think about the final message of the video?
I think that the final message of the video is a good idea. Everyone can draw if they do a little bit practise.

1. Did you think that you could draw before watching the video? Has the video changed your point of view?
Before watching video I wasn't sure if I could drawing. Now I can honestly say that I can kind of "learn" it from different tutorials and other sources. Moreover it cannot take long time. I totally change my point of view! Thank you :)
2. Do you believe that drawing can be a useful skill to have? Why or why not?
I haven't been drawing when I was younger except some silly pictures as house with sun and fence. Nowadays I have different hobbies and ways for spending my free time so I don't need to explore it. I don't think it is useful skill to have except job positions as architects hat need it.
3. What do you think about the final message of the video?
I totally agree with final message. There so many things and places to explore! We should try new things :)

1. I started taking drawing classes during my high school years when I decided to study architecture so by now I have this ability developed quite well.
2. In some professions like architecture this skill is essential. Architects communicate best while drawing. It would hard and time-consuming to explain some of the information that you can easily show in a simple drawing. However I think that there are people that can live without this skill.
3. I think it is very important to understand that many of the boundaries we create are just in our minds and to feel fully free we must overcome these boundaries.

The problem with ecological cars emission in UK Since the adoption of the European Emission Allowance Directive in the European Parliament, all car makers have tried to submit. Since 1992, the Euro I standard has been in force, which limited the emission of carbon monoxide to the atmosphere. The Euro VI standard currently applies, which limits the series of exhaust gases. These include: hydrocarbons, nitrogen and carbon oxides, and dust.   The most significant change was brought by the Euro IV standard. For the first time it introduced the limitation of nitrogen oxides, which are responsible for the harmful compounds of smog.   What is smog?   Smog consists of sulfur oxides, nitrogen and carbon. In addition, solid substances such as suspended dust (PM). Dust suspend in atmospheric aerosols may be in liquid and solid form. These can be particles of sea salt, clouds from the Sahara and artificial compounds made by people. These compounds often come fr
