I am interested in Time Managment topic because I can not be on time with deadlines and I have tendency to postpone things and my duties. It seems that there are plenty of time so I have time for sleeping or watching another episode of TV series.
Due to this period of isolation time goes faster then usual for me. I started read articles and books about time managment. I am interested in plenning and organazing my day before it started.
What do think about Time Management? Do you usually plan your day?
Have you ever thought that you do not have enough time in a day?
What do you think about the video "Philosophy of time management"?

2. Yes, and that’s a matter of fact. Studying and working full time doesn’t leave too much free time.
3. I like it, that man has a lot of wise things to say and he uses a lot of examples from well-known philosophers. It’s very pleasant to listen to.
I am in similar situation like you. Deadline is the best motivation for me especially when there is few hours to do some tasks. To be honest i try to manage my time but probably i have too much things to do. In my opinion quite interesting option is removing bad habbits from your life - for example you can just check facebook once at the end of the day etc.
2. Have you ever thought that you do not have enough time in a day?
As i said above i have this problem and sometimes it is hard to handle that.
3. What do you think about the video "Philosophy of time management"?
I have never thought like that - "time is money" and it is better to work than hangout with friends. This video gave some good questions to think about it. Nevertheles i want to enjoy life and also achive something but my problem is that i waste time on bad things like social media or some other services.
2. I often think so. However, usually on days off that I want to use as much as I can. During the working week I do not think about it, I do as many activities as I can.
3. I agree that every hour we devote, e.g. to work, is the hour of our life. Therefore, in addition to the time I devote to work, I try to devote as much as possible to myself, so that at the end of the day I feel that I have used this day well.
2. I think so all the time. The current situation - coronavirus, makes me sit in front of the computer for almost 12 hours a day. To start with, work from 8 to 16, followed by online classes at the university. I have hardly any time for sports, hobbies - I still do the planned tasks, but I don't have enough time for myself.
3. Interesting video, I was very interested in examples that Brad Aeon mentioned. However, I do not want to believe that there are people in the world who are angry that they have to spend time with children instead of working. In life you have to set clear boundaries, also when it comes to time management - part of the time spent on work, part on pleasure. Thanks to this, you can feel fulfilled.
2. I never thought so, maybe because I can't get bored and I can always find something to do.
3. Unfortunately, some people think that time is money, in some way it’s true, but we always have to think about what’s the most important for us, really only money? I liked the film very much it gave a lot to think about.
2. Yes, I have this feeling very often. I study and work full-time, so finding free time is sometimes not easy for me.
3. I would have to read more about this subject to state my opinion, but I liked the way the guy at the conference explained that. I think that many "motivational" speakers could learn much from it and revalidate their knowledge.
If you are asking about the Time management in the context of the video, the answer is in the question number three I do like to plan my day as it makes me more aware of my everyday responsibilities and stress less about what I should do during that day. I write it on a piece of paper a day before, and verify it the next evening, to see if there is something I have to postpone for the next day. It’s nothing strict, I just write down the stuff that must be done, but if I’m not able to do them one day I will move it to the next one. Thanks to that I’m not stressing out about missing something. I’ve also noticed that it makes my brain remember all the projects, dates and birthdays easier, so I tend to remember all of this without using any calendar.
Have you ever thought that you do not have enough time in a day?
I think that all the time. There is just always something new to learn, read and do, and so little time. World is just a fascinating place! I do like working on different projects throughout the day and actually enjoy it, but on the other hand I like to spend time with my friends and family and there is always some kind of internal struggle where to put more of my time resources during the day.
What do you think about the video "Philosophy of time management"?
The question that hit me was “is money the real value of time”. I do appreciate the approach of the lecturer; it gives you a lot of stuff to think about. We usually think about time management in terms of how to cram more and more activities into the day to make it more productive and efficient, when the thing we should do is to embrace what we have, cherish the ones we love and simply spend money, to have time that matters, not to spend time to have money.
I don't manage my time. I have a job that I can't plan my tasks because I don't know how long it will take. For each person effective methods of time management are different. What works for one person will not necessarily work for someone with a different personality. Let's experiment with that. Let's try new things, different solutions, and then we will surely achieve the optimum.
Have you ever thought that you do not have enough time in a day?
I've long thought my day is too short. There are so many topics, news, new skills to grasp, and so little time. I have many hobbies that I develop, but I often come to the conclusion that I think we need to tighten this circle to the small size of two or three hobbies.
What do you think about the video "Philosophy of time management"?
He's right, but I think it takes a lot of time to watch these guides.
It is like CPU scheduling in a macro sense from computer perspective, anyway, as long as we are not some presidents or CEOs, we will not be as busy as a CPU, so I actually don't plan that much, mostly just complete the assigned thing in first days even if the deadline is 2 moths, then I don’t need to plan anything for the rest of the day.
2. Have you ever thought that you do not have enough time in a day?
When I was young, I felt that I had a lot of time, although I played games every day, I still felt that time passes slowly. I think 48 hours a day is not enough even if you manage the time, Not because of being old, but starting to understand that knowledge is the future for all of us.
3. What do you think about the video "Philosophy of time management"?
I like this video, the man showed that time management had so much to do with philosophy, I think it is very intelligent, meaningful and motivational.
I usually plan my day as I get very busy and If I didn`t plan I would end up with nothing. I don`t like postponing anything except for additional activities, self education- never find time for this, however it still depends on my desire and planning.
Have you ever thought that you do not have enough time in a day?
Sometimes I think so, however I always managed to organize my day in a way I can complete all daily tasks. This only requires less sleeping and making more efforts.
What do you think about the video "Philosophy of time management"?
I find this video very informative, interesting and wise.
In my case time management is impossible, I'm really wondering if someone can do it.
I have tried many times and I'm too lazy moreover it is not always possible to set time for a specific task.
2. Have you ever thought that you do not have enough time in a day?
Now I feel like I don't have enough time for everything, the day passes very quickly and I don't have enough motivation to do something at night. When I was a child one day was like an eternity to me, I did many things easily.
3. What do you think about the video "Philosophy of time management'?
I think the video is motivating and enlightening, but I don't know if these tips will work for most people.
I think time goes faster after 20 years old. Since we are adult we had more things to think about and do
I like Ted talks as well but sometimes I spend to much time on it.
Yes I agree time goes too fast
No, I am a spontaneous person.
Have you ever thought that you do not have enough time in a day?
I did. In fact I do often think about that, constantly. Just not enough time in the day. Even now, during the lockdown I am not able to finish everything I would like to.
What do you think about the video "Philosophy of time management"?
Helpful video. Though I wonder how to make myself stick to the guidelines there.
2. Yes, and I often have such thoughts. Even more now, I study and work, and there are also projects and responsibilities. And I don't have time for anything.
3. I thought it was interesting and worth listening to. From time to time, listen to smart people. It works a bit motivating, but it doesn't convince me. I am stubborn ;)
I think Time Management is very import in our life. We have many things to do in one day. It’s heavy to do everything in short time. We need to plan our day to have time for work, our family and friends. Good planning can do miracles. I usually try to plan a whole day. Always when I plan something happened and I need to change my plans. Today I try to plan main tasks with many options to change if something unexpected happened.
2. Have you ever thought that you do not have enough time in a day?
Yes, many times. It’s happened when I have a lot to do and one task take too long. It’s a terrible feeling that I will fail and don't finish my work on time. I try work as fast I can but always something go wrong. I need to calm down and reset my mind. I try to concentrate on unfinished task.
3. What do you think about the video "Philosophy of time management"?
I think the presented video is very interesting and showing us a different point of view on topic “Time Management”. It’s true that we often say that we don’t have time but this is not true. We have time but we need to choose how we spend it. In our life time is gold. We need to focus on important thing. Our life is short and we don’t know when we die.
Yes, it is really important for me to have well organised day plan. It helps me develop my self and be awareness.
Have you ever thought that you do not have enough time in a day?
Very often but it is well connected to time managing. I don't find time for some things because of the other things i do. Maybe they are not so important because sometimes it's playing video games or watching movies but they get me relaxed when i need it.
What do you think about the video "Philosophy of time management"?
It points very important things in topic of time management. It's definitely worth to take some time and thing about right manageming of your life :)
It depends on what I should do during the day. If there are plenty of chores I will probably plan the order of them. If not, I would rather do what I want to do at my own pace.
2. Have you ever thought that you do not have enough time in a day?
Well, everyone at some point in their lives realise that they do not have enough time for their pleasure or work. And people come to the conclusion that we do not have to take this problem seriously; it can simply be put to one side and forgotten about. U can start planning the day if you want to be more productive but in the long run, the planned life will start to be boring. Some spontaneous activities are likely to be more enjoyable but that is just a personal choice. Most of the time we are seeking activities that are rewarding and bringing us much satisfaction. Some of us will go the extra mile and do more or simply turn it down but we need to remember that it is within our power.
3. What do you think about the video "Philosophy of time management"?
As I mentioned before In my opinion it depends on the person. One prefers to have their life all planned. And others would love to experience unplanned things like holiday, fun events, new travel or anything that would alter their routine, but I feel that's not always a bad thing. The key here is that you can change your routine to fit your life. If you're keen on taking an epic journey then travel around the world by yourself or with your friends or family. Travelling can be fun, but don't feel obligated to make it your habit.
I do plan my day, most of the time using to-do lists, which are very simple yet effective.
I think that time management is an important part of our life without it our work
and responsibilities would be chaotic.
2.
It depends, there are definitely days like that, but it's relatively rare.
3.
It was an interesting video, but I didn't get anything from it that I didn't knew earlier.
2. Very often. I work full time and also study, so I don't have much of a free time. But it feels really good to know that I manage to bring all my responsibilties together and still keep my sanity.
3. I was expecting another cheap life-coaching video. What a nice surprise. I agree that time management is about making the right sacrifices, not trying to pack more activities into your daily routine.
2. Sometimes yes, especially when there's a busy time at work and uni, but it's very rare.
3. I think it's very good idea and I totally agree with concept that "I don't have time" is just an excuse
My day is usually planned according to the meetings at work and classes at the university. Other than that, unfortunately I do not have much time left to be managed. Because of that I cannot plan ahead too much and I adapt a kind of chaotic approach.
2. Have you ever thought that you do not have enough time in a day?
I definitely do not have enough time in a day to do everything that I should, but that may be because I have taken up too much stuff this year. It is all carefully planned though. I want to finish everything as soon as possible because once I graduate, I will have more time to work on my physical form, but also to rest and relax and spend time with friends.
3. What do you think about the video "Philosophy of time management"?
I think it is always good to remind ourselves that we have a limited time in our lives and not everything should be focused around our job and the money. For me, time spend working is not so much the money I make but rather what I can do with it. I love travelling and usually I kind of 'convert' my working hours into a vacation that I will be able to afford thanks to it.
2. I've thought about it many times and time to think was a waste of time. You just need to work and not think how to do something. For me it is a waste of time.
3. When it comes to this film, I have ambivalent feelings. On the one hand, the author talks about saving time and planning it, which for many people will definitely be useful, and on the other hand, as an example, he represents a representation of total pathology which is converting time with loved ones into money. Personally, I don't like giving pathological behaviors as an "against" argument. The author could present the added values that we will have if we use his technique.
2 / I think that this happened to many, and such an idea occurred to them at least once.
3 / A very useful and interesting study as well as the narrator’s narrative. I did not come across this wording and the concept itself earlier, but I really liked the story ...
I kind of plan my day. I usually establish some milestones I need to meet every day and I try to meet them. I don’t think too much about the details though. As we know the details always change and we can’t really foresee them.
Have you ever thought that you do not have enough time in a day?
I think about it all the time! Especially now when I am in the six semesters. The professors give us too much work for us to handle. We need to prepare prototype of the application used in our engineering thesis and also, we need to find the type for work or internships. Might be really nice if earth would slow down its rotation cycle.
Time management is a very important matter. Every day I try to manage my time to use it optimally. Today the world is rushing. We are planning days ahead a week. Massacre. Let's try to respect others and give time to others by planning our time.
2. Have you ever thought that you do not have enough time in a day?
I run out of time every day. Unfortunately, I have to leave something for tomorrow. I try to manage it well, but well. Life plays tricks and you have to model the day so that you can embrace everything.
3. What do you think about the video "Philosophy of time management"?
Good stuff. Thought-provoking. If you want to organize your time, you should see it.
1. I never really plan my day, as every time I attempt to, I still do whatever I feel like doing at the moment. I do believe that proper time management is important, but personally I manage to go with the flow and still finish my tasks before deadline, which is good enough for me.
2. Sometimes I do. It usually happens if there is a lot of work to be done, but sometimes I just wish that days would last longer, only so I could spent more time doing what I like.
3. I really enjoyed listening to this video, as it really gave me a lot to think about when it comes to concept of managing time.
2. Everyday 😉
3. Too much theory. If you would like a little bit more practice, I recommend you to read ‘4-Hour Workweek’ written by Timothy Ferriss
I usually just write things that I need to do in a particular day and try to stick to it. It is working for me in most cases but sometimes something comes up and everything shifts. I think its really important to list all the things you need to do because we easy forget what we have to do because of all the distractions that we encounter.
Have you ever thought that you do not have enough time in a day?
Yes! In my mind I dont have enough time almost every day. There is so much things to do and everything takes time. You always need to decide what is the most valuable thing to do in particular moment.
What do you think about the video "Philosophy of time management"?
It was really educative for me. It is important to do the things that give us joy. We can't only think about money.
I think a good time management is a great habit. If you know how to plan your day you will have a time of everything. I don’t like in myself that I am wasting a lot of time. I always wanted to learn how to plan a day. Sometimes I am planning but very rarely.
2. Have you ever thought that you do not have enough time in a day?
Many times, especially when I have stared to work and I am still studying. I feel like I have no time at all, but somehow I am doing pretty well.
3. What do you think about the video "Philosophy of time management"?
I agree about the balance between person and habits. It is good to be organized, but everybody is different and some people just do not want to belong to the group and they are living day by day.
2. There’s no single month that I haven’t thought about it at least few times
3. It was very interesting video and I looked at few aspects differently.
In my opinion it is very important to manage your time well but I don't like planning my day strictly. When I have to do something improtant I tell my self that before doing that I can't do something that is more fun to me therefore my brain treats what I do after completing task as a reward. That is really common psychological effect.
2. Have you ever thought that you do not have enough time in a day?
I wouldn't say so. Of course sometimes there are just those days when you have to do massive amount of work but on the other hand you could have just started it earlier.
3. What do you think about the video "Philosophy of time management"?
I think the concept is pretty interesting and you can find some useful insights.
2. Of course I often feel this way. This is because I get up quite early in the morning, I go to work, I leave it in the afternoon, later there are so many things to do in such a short time that that it is almost the end of the day. On days when I have school, time goes even faster.
3. The movie is really cool. The leader speaks in a very convincing and clever way. It leaves the recipient with many things to think about.
I think this is a very relevant thing today. Even under quarantine and a worldwide pandemic. Many people stopped planning their day due to which they lost their goals. I usually mentally try to plan my day and follow this plan throughout the day.
Have you ever thought that you do not have enough time in a day?
Yes, of course, this happens very often. It seems that 24 hours a day is very small to implement our goals into reality. This is especially evident when you work, study at the same time and you have a lot to do besides this.
And it’s also noticeable when you read posts in our Konwersatorium and watch a video. And often you do it on the last day. Then you want Sunday to be one hour more :)
What do you think about the video "Philosophy of time management"?
This is not such a simple thing really. Although it seems that these are very simple things. In fact, this is a whole science and it is worthwhile to devote a lot of time to introduce the basics of time management in your life. That is, I mean that if people decide to do it, then you need to do it competently and devote enough time.
I cannot live without plans, but I don't plan my day hourly, it is something similar to to do list with time estimations.
Have you ever thought that you do not have enough time in a day?
Only when it is about time needed to sleep and when I'm procrastinating too long :)
What do you think about the video "Philosophy of time management"?
The video is very interesting, the connection with philosophy and principles was new for me.
2. Every day! If I could I would extend the day to 32 hours, such as suggested in some sci-fi movies. This would seem more optimal for me.
3. It was a little too philosophical for me however I mostly agreed with the speaker. Being productive is quite rewarding and makes me feel better about myself, but we need to make time for fun once in a while because otherwise what's the point to all of it?
Luckily I don't. Maybe only on some special days. But my father always told something like "I wish i had more time in my day". So yeah, probably all of us will reach this stage of daily activity.
Time is not just money. It's much more precious, but we are humans and we can only feel the effect of time on us, and that's why never can appreciate it, because we cannot define it.
I think that time management is one of the most important thing to be imported into life nowadays. Everyone has a lot of activities to perfom during each day, and many of them are of great importance, so we must do them and if we have a good organization of the day, it has adequate impact on how well we perform activities and how many hours of sleep will be left for us. Unfortunately I am not so good on planning my day, but I’m doing my best to improve that skill ;) I tried to make a list the day before of everything I should squeeze in my day tomorrow and it was really helpful, because I felt some strange need to cross everything of the list at the end of the next day. But I am not doing this everyday, because ofen I am so tired that I just go to sleep after did what I could.
Have you ever thought that you do not have enough time in a day?
Of course, I have that feeling almost everyday :) sometimes it is because I have so much things to do that it’s impossible to fulfill all of my obligations for these day, and sometimes it is because I postpone the beginning of doing important activities, because I’m spending too much time during breakfast on watching anime ;) So I must sadly say that this is one of the most common feeling in my life ;)
What do you think about the video "Philosophy of time management"?
I think that the speaker was very good during his performance and he used a lot of interesting techniques as for to catch the attention of the viewers. But as for just the topic, I was not as amazed, because – although there was some interesting parts – it wasn’t anything groundbreaking. Of course I agree with the statement, that time is money, and I am also sure, that it is extremely important to choose everyday on which we want to spend 24 hours ahead of us. It’s better to choose less activities and fullfill them in more efficient way than to try to squeeze a lot more activities and just do them witouht enough focus.
I usually plan my day in the morning, but I wouldn't say that I know something about Time Management. I tend to think that I have too little time for anything.
Have you ever thought that you do not have enough time in a day?
Yes, many times. Almost every day, studying, work and hobbies take a lot of time. I almost didn't have time to do these English classes assignment.
What do you think about the video "Philosophy of time management"?
Very interesting. It put a time management problem from a different perspective and I liked that. I am not a fan of the saying that time is money, and I also think that we are missing on something important if we only focus on being more productive and on getting more things done.
2.Only when it's last day before the exam and I didn't study enough.
3.The video was great, and if I'm ever in productive mood I'll try to plan my next day.
2. I think it is common thing. There is always something more which could be done in particular daytime. But i rather don't like caring about duties which I have not managed in day. If it happened, it's sign there were to much planned tasks.
3. It contains a lot wise and interesting informations. But I don't like to live to fast. And calculation about wasting time for sleeping is annoying for me.
I think that Time Management is for stable and outgoing people. I usually don't plan my day, because when I do I can't achieve everything from my list and it's even more demotivating.
2. Have you ever thought that you do not have enough time in a day?
Yes, I have. Every day I feel that time is going so fast that I even don't know when the day starts and ends.
3. What do you think about the video "Philosophy of time management"?
I think that the guy in the video is right. Humans should think if what they do is worth their life. If work which they have and money are really so important that they should endure all stress and anxiety it causes.
I think time management is very important and useful nowadays. We as humans want to do and achieve a lot of things and always need more time for doing or relaxing. When we follow some rules regarding to Time Management we do not waste time and can have the best performance we are able to.
Have you ever thought that you do not have enough time in a day?
Sometimes I feel like I wish I could have day that have 36 hours. But everyone has the same amount of hours per day and wisdom is where we are using from the day efficiently. We can always learn and explore new things.
What do you think about the video "Philosophy of time management"?
I agree with the stamens about the balance in our lives between people and their habits. We need to be organized somehow, but people are different their needs also. We should find yourself and our way of living.
2. I have that thought very often. It is very stressful for me, I would love to get rid of that thought.
3. This guy have a point. I agree with the fact that if you do not manage your time properly you feel that constant fear of the time running out.
