1.
I never did travel by ship, excluding tourist cruises in popular tourist cities.
I feel that maritime transport is good, it's not the fastest, like aviation is, but it
enaables to transport huge payloads relatively cheap. When it comes to cruise liners however I don't see the appeal.

2.
They all look similar to each other, but I guess I would pick the biggest one: "Norwegian encore"

3.
Probably bars, and rooms with board games. It would make the time on sea a little bit more exciting.
1. How do you feel about maritime transport? Have you had a chance to travel by ship?

I think that this is a very interesting mean of transport, which is worth trying at least once in your life. I happened to travel by ships and ferries, the longest journey lasted 6 hours. However, they were not as richly equipped means of transport as presented in the film. On the ferry I could use the restaurant, bar and cinema.

2. Which cruise ship seems to be the most attractive to you? What cruise ship are you excited to sail on?

I honestly admit that they all look the same to me. It is true that I was surprised by the Norwegian encore race track, I am even overwhelmed by the splendor prevailing there. I am aware of the fact that attractions must be provided for many weeks, but when deciding on a specific ship, I would focus primarily on the ports it enters.

3. If you had a chance to make a project of a new cruise liner, which onboard entertainment would it include?

I think that I would try to make these attractions different from those that we can use on land. The main motive would be the sea, I would like passengers to be able to see what a ship looks like - visiting engine rooms, control rooms, etc.

q. I’ve never had the opportunity to travel by sea for longer routes, I only used it to cross the English Channel. I think this transport is slow but some may prefer it. I certainly wouldn't choose it because I don't like big ships.

2. Unfortunately, I don’t like any of them. I hate too large clusters of people, and on such ships, unfortunately, space is limited, and due to the fact that journeys are longer than in the case of an airplane, I can’t imagine spending such a long time there. Unfortunately, regardless of the attractions offered I wouldn’t choose a rare one. The only ships that are close to me are ordinary boats that I love to sail on. I think that I would feel much better for example at the Gift of the Youth with no extra attractions.

3. It would definitely be a place of silence with lots of plants and a ban on loud conversations

1. How do you feel about maritime transport? Have you had a chance to travel by ship?
My only link with maritime transport is limited to reading books by Perypeczko. I am well aware that sea transport plays an important role in many branches of modern economy. At the same time, it ensures free and almost unlimited flow of various goods. Each year, a huge number of ships and tons of various goods pass through thousands of ports around the world.

2. Which cruise ship seems to be the most attractive to you? What cruise ship are you excited to sail on?

The most famous cruise ship I have heard about is of course titanic. recently I found out that corporations operating cruise ships buy islands e.g. in the Caribbean owned by NCL bought a private island in the Caribbean. The corporation created a holiday resort there, where passengers can enjoy a private beach, numerous bars and various water sports during their stay on the island. I am often in Madeira and very often see huge cruise ships. The biggest I have seen is SkySea Golden Era.

3. If you had a chance to make a project of a new cruise liner, which onboard entertainment would it include?

I like the volcanic mountains. I doubt it would be possible to build a mountain like this on a ship.

I think it ’s a very interesting experience when shipping by sea. We rarely have the opportunity to ship by sea, so I like it as long as the journey does not exceed around 6 hours, otherwise I will be bored. I had travelled by ship when I travelled to some countries, last one was Japan in last year.

2. Which cruise ship seems to be the most attractive to you? What cruise ship are you excited to sail on?
To be honest, all of them are the same for me no matter it is large cruise ship or small maritime transport, I like them as long as I don't have to spend more than 6 hours on them.

3. If you had a chance to make a project of a new cruise liner, which onboard entertainment would it include?
I don't know, very simple things will be okay for me, maybe submarine on a cruise ship?
1. I was only traveling by ferry from Poland to Denmark. It was an amazing experience. However, I would love to take a cruise ship. This is one of my dreams.

2. Definitely MS Oasis of The Seas. The ship looks really great, looks very modern and has a lot of attractions.

3. It seems to me that I couldn't think of anything new.

For centuries sea transport makes it easier to transport large quantities of goods. Even today, most things from China, Thailand or India arrive by ship to Europe. Before planes were created, it was the only type of communication between continents.
I had the opportunity to travel by ferry from Denmark to Norewgia. It was cool 12 hours, only that day was awesome because it was 9 at sea.

2. Which cruise ship seems to be the most attractive to you? What cruise ship are you excited to sail on?

I would like to go sailing. Such a large Flying Clipper, for example. The five-masted sailing ship is 162.2 m long and its tonnage is about 8770 tons. The crew of 140 people, and on board there is room for 300 passengers. That would be something.

3. If you had a chance to make a project of a new cruise liner, which onboard entertainment would it include?

I get the impression that everything is already on cruise ships. So it's hard to think of something new.

1. I have never traveled by ship, but it seems as a great experience especially travelling by ship like those presented in the video.
2. I think that I would choose Scarlet Lady as It has the best destination in my opinion and also whole aesthetic of this ship looks very modern and elegant.
3. On my ship there would for sure be bars and chill areas, maybe some bowling alley and some kind of a surfing pool as the one showed on Odyssey of the Seas.

1. Yes, in the past I had the opportunity to travel by boat, but they were not for multi-day trips. As far as maritime transport is concerned, I think that it “plays” an important role in the transport of massive cargo.

2. Personally, I don't see much difference in these ships. Each of them is close to perfection and is designed to meet the highest standards. Choosing the best ship for me is like a flip a coin – I do not care cause each of them is outstanding.

3. If I were able to design my ship, I would include themes from the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean" into it. I think that such a solution would attract many fans of this series and families with children.
1. How do you feel about maritime transport? Have you had a chance to travel by ship?

I think it's sometimes convenient, especially if you want to travel to Great Britain in your own car. I did that twice, and I traveled from Dunkirk to Dover.

2. Which cruise ship seems to be the most attractive to you? What cruise ship are you excited to sail on?

I think that it wouldn't be very interesting for me to travel in even the most exclusive cruiser if the route would be boring. So for me, it could be interesting to see Antarctica for example, and if the ship would be comforting, that would be nice.

3. If you had a chance to make a project of a new cruise liner, which onboard entertainment would it include?

Some places to party, watching movies and maybe a casino. That seems about right. And PS4 in every room.
1. How do you feel about maritime transport? Have you had a chance to travel by ship?

It's quite good, despite it's really slow. I have travelled by ship many times in my life - it's inspiring expierience however I think that ships are better for cargo transport instead of people transportation. In many tourists regions it can be a great attraction to see a lot of things near the sea borders. Also public transport in cities is quite interesting idea.

2. Which cruise ship seems to be the most attractive to you? What cruise ship are you excited to sail on?

They looks pretty simillar. Each of them have its pros and cons. I am not sure which one I would pick.

3. If you had a chance to make a project of a new cruise liner, which onboard entertainment would it include?

A lot of Jacuzzis for sure, big dinning area, big partying area and a lot of open bars. Also I would choose glass walls in many places

It is not my favorite one but I do travel by marine transport when I need to. It is most often a ferry but I had opportunity to cruise on ships a couple of times.

2. Which cruise ship seems to be the most attractive to you? What cruise ship are you excited to sail on?

They are look pretty much the same but I think the Celebrity Apex got my vote here. It seems the most classy and elegant one, and although I do not normally like to stay in such places I would be eager to take a cruise on it.

3. If you had a chance to make a project of a new cruise liner, which onboard entertainment would it include?
A must-have entertainment on such cruise ship should undoubtedly be a football pitch for me. Besides that it would be fun to have some water attractions there.

I feel like maritime transport is useless for people in the sake of transportation nowadays. It is slow, and expensive. We have faster and cheaper modes of transportation. It could be useful for recreation purpose. Unfortunately I've never travelled by ship. I was only enjoying my vacations on yachts.
2. Which cruise ship seems to be the most attractive to you? What cruise ship are you excited to sail on?
Heavy metal cruise sounds fun.
3. If you had a chance to make a project of a new cruise liner, which onboard entertainment would it include?
I'm not much interested at cruise liners and seas at all. Maybe some kind of historical cruise over valuable ports all over the continent/world, idk.
1. I think it's the best transport for carrying very heavy things, unfortunately it's slow. I have never had contact with him.
2. I think Symphony of the Seas because it is the largest ship, has a lot of attractions and trip there would be very interesting, unfortunately in Poland it will never appear and price of the trip itself is high.
3. I think that at the bottom of the ship there is a live oceanarium, place that would be transparent and live fish would be seen flowing
1. How do you feel about maritime transport? Have you had a chance to travel by ship?

I like the idea of traveling by ship, but I have my concerns about cruise ships, they emit more CO2 than all cars and they are not environmentally friendly at all. That's the reason I wouldn't travel by cruise ship even if I had a chance.

2. Which cruise ship seems to be the most attractive to you? What cruise ship are you excited to sail on?

As I said above I wouldn't like to travel by any cruise ship, I would much prefer to travel by sailing yacht. It seems much more fun and exciting even without all the luxuries.

3. If you had a chance to make a project of a new cruise liner, which onboard entertainment would it include?

If I had to make a project of a new cruise liner, I would try to limit its emissions, and I would only include the most carbon-neutral Onboard entertainment, such as swimming pools. tennis courts etc.

Week 11 [03-09.06.2019] The problem with ecological cars emission in UK

The problem with ecological cars emission in UK Since the adoption of the European Emission Allowance Directive in the European Parliament, all car makers have tried to submit. Since 1992, the Euro I standard has been in force, which limited the emission of carbon monoxide to the atmosphere. The Euro VI standard currently applies, which limits the series of exhaust gases. These include: hydrocarbons, nitrogen and carbon oxides, and dust.   The most significant change was brought by the Euro IV standard. For the first time it introduced the limitation of nitrogen oxides, which are responsible for the harmful compounds of smog.   What is smog?   Smog consists of sulfur oxides, nitrogen and carbon. In addition, solid substances such as suspended dust (PM). Dust suspend in atmospheric aerosols may be in liquid and solid form. These can be particles of sea salt, clouds from the Sahara and artificial compounds made by people. These compounds often come fr

Week 12 (12.01-18.01.15) Are you an early bird or a night owl ?

Owls are nocturnal creatures. They’re wide awake at night and they sleep during the day. If this sounds like bliss to you, then, like about 20 percent of the population who find themselves most active at around 9 pm, you may fall into the same category as our feathered friend. Night owls often have difficulty waking up in the morning, and like to be up late at night.  Studies of animal behaviour indicate that being a night owl may actually be built into some people’s genes. This would explain why those late-to-bed, late-to-rise people find it so difficult to change their behaviour. The trouble for night owls is that they just have to be at places such as work and school far too early. This is when the alarm clock becomes the night owl’s most important survival tool. Experts say that one way for a night owl to beat their dependence on their alarm clocks is to sleep with the curtains open. The Theory is that if they do so, the morning sunlight will awaken them gently and naturally.
