Week 4 [16.11-22.11] - 5 Easy Ways To Make Small Talk With Anyone https://konwersatorium1-ms-pjwstk.blogspot.com/2020/11/5-easy-ways-to-make-small-talk-with.html
My vote goes to Week 10 [11.01-17.01] "Upload your mind." I got totally hooked on Kurzgesagt videos thanks to this post. Thank you Bartek, you made my leisure time interesting and even kind of productive.
My vote goes to the article Week 4 [16.11-22.11] Renewable energy - modern wind farms – could be better? Very interesting one, good preparation from the author, and a lot of informations provided. I would really recommend this one.
My vote goes for https://konwersatorium1-ms-pjwstk.blogspot.com/2021/01/week-10-1101-1701-how-to-achieve-your.html The reason is that it was probably the best talk I have ever listened to on TED. This was both very motivational and interesting because both the story and the achievements of the author were astonishing. It also describes the problems we seem to ignore nowadays, that we assume people just because of their grades at school. Last thing - the whole method of starting doing something from small steps appeals to me since I was already doing it like that.
I had to search through plenty of posts to find this one, as it was one of the first presentations on our blog. In my opinion, the best presentation was from Week 2 with the title "Food of the gods" prepared by Justyna Woźniak.
Although the topic of chocolate may seem quite common, the article shed light on all aspects of this popular confection and pushed me to explore this subject further. The presentation was prepared very carefully with much thoroughness. The author provided us with the biography of the cocoa beans, and moving thought the cultural attachments to its usage in native cultures, we received a very detailed description of the chocolate-making process. I loved the fact that the author herself prepared a video, illustrating this process. Aside from the 'sweet' side of the chocolate industry, we could also learn about the dark side of it and its effect on poor communities. Furthermore, the presentation was nicely moderated, as with the author's fast responses I felt like we were talking in real life. Justyna's recommendations really made me eager to try something new. Overall, the presentation was thoughtfully carried out and reading it has lightened up my day.
I'm voting for the week 4 presentation about ANC Active Noise Canceling Headphones. Thanks to this presentation, I bought probably the best thing of the last 5 years. I did not expect these headphones to be so perfect
During this semester a lot of interesting articles and video materials appeared on the blog. Choosing the best one is not at all easy!
I cast my vote on Week 2 [02-08.11.20] Food of the gods - by Justyna Woźniak. It was a pleasure to read, considering that Justyna is no stranger to work in the production of chocolate. I'm glad she shared her experience with us and added a video of the production process.
I'd like to cast my vote on "Week 3 [09-15.11.20] Some games are just too expensive". It mentions a very interesting and perhaps unknown to some of the readers beforehand topic. The questions are well put, in such a way that make you have a distinct answer and make thinking about and replying to them a pleasure. It is a absorbing read regardless of your previous experience with the topic. The vocabulary and grammar both are on a very high level, with no discernable mistakes. Overall I'd say it is examplary presentation.
I really enjoyed Week 12 [25.01.21-31.01.21] Do We Live in a Simulation? presentation, because I'm really into this kind of weird theories about the universe, and there were a lot of interesting ideas in the presented video.
My vote goes to Justyna Wożniak and her presentation from Week 2 [02-08.11.20]-Food of the gods. Her post was not only interesting but also full of amazing insights.
My vote goes for Week 7 [7.12 – 13.12] Why is the CD Projekt releasing Cyberpunk 2077 instead of The Witcher 4? made by Adrian Zygo. I really enjoyed this topic and found this presentation very interesting.
My vote goes to http://konwersatorium1-ms-pjwstk.blogspot.com/search?q=Condition+of+slums+in+India. It base on true condition, Slum area , Unemployment and inadequate education and job. How does it affect to the real time we can see it in to this presentation.
My vote goes to "Some games are just too expensive" presentation. I enjoyed it not only because I played Magic: The Gathering when I was in high school, but also because it's really well written. I think that it deserves the title of this semester's best presentation.
In my opinion a presentation from week 11 "Digital nomad lifestyle" was the most interesting one this semester. It made me aware of the fact that something that I was thinking about for a long time has a specific name and it encouraged me to give it a try myself.
