You should prepare 2 presentations (some text, films and photos), which  you moderate (ask questions, comment on your friends’ opinions) during one week of the course. Moreover, each week you read/watch and comment on/ discuss your colleagues’ presentations.


Send me your presentations at least a week before the date of their publication. 


Each week of our work finishes on Sunday at 11:55 p.m.

Your presentation should:
  1. consist of text (ca. 400 words).
  2. include photos, videos (only in English).
  3. be interesting to read, watch and comment on. If I do not like the topic, I can ask you to prepare a new presentation.
  4. be submitted in the Word file or the Google docs (no PDF files).
  5. include the sources used.
  6. not offend anyone’s beliefs.
Ignorance of the rules will result in the course failure.

Week 3 [16.03-22.03.2020] Flipping cat physics

Flipping Cat Physics Cats are one of  most common human’s companion. We can see them all the time walking around their own trails and climbing on everything just to be in a center of attention. Although sometimes I can see them trip on something they always fall on their four legs. How is that possible? In the video shown below we can see a youtube video created by Destin Standlin showing how cats rotate when falling. It’s fascinating how they can control their body to rotate. Week 3 [23-29.10.17] Clones of NES around the world

I ’m sure everyone of you heard about Pegasus (Gra telewizyjna) console. I’m also pretty sure majority of you heard about NES and know very well that Pegasus is in fact NES clone (well, actually it’s Famicom but let’s not get into details) distributed by Hoop Cola guys. But do you actually know how many clones NES had in the past? Well, neither do I but I’ll try to present you some of the most popular clones around the world (excluding China no-names you can buy on Aliexpress even now). Short note for people born in previous age: NES is video game console released in 1983 in Japan and 2-3 years later in EU and US. By many it’s considered the best video console of all time.
